Avoid the 'Dance floor'

Dance floor is misnamed as it's so crowded that dancing isn't possible, and it is so hard to actually see anything on the stage due to this overcrowding - clearly profit is prioritised over customer experience. An expensive ABBA party. Go to Mamma Mia the Party instead.

Would really like to give 4 or 5 stars…

Would really like to give 4 or 5 stars but really feel let down by the song arrangement. I have seen the show twice now and both visits experienced exactly the same. All concerts I have been to start with a banger to get the crowd off their seats and set the tone for the rest of the concert. Abba voyage starts with 2 relatively unknown songs which sends the crowd totally flat. Middle of the concert the same. There are so many Abba songs that are not played that would add to the atmosphere Ring Ring Ring / Honey Honey the list just goes on. And not to play I have a dream is just unforgivable. An extra 30 minutes long to give the full Abba experience is needed and for the price is totally expected by fans so feel a little disappointed

Treat for my husband's birthday in January

Treat for my husband's birthday in early January totally spoilt by two extremely inebriated women who were eventually removed after 5 attempts by the totally useless security team. My question is how were they allowed in so drunk as the price of the drinks inside were extortionate.
I filed a complaint on 12th February and am still waiting for a resolution. Very very poor customer service indeed.

Fantastic show!

Four of us attended a Sunday afternoon show and we thoroughly enjoyed it, would highly recommend.
Reaching the venue was challenging for us due to rail replacement bus services, we opted for a Flix bus connection from Norwich to Stratford which although not ideal worked out ok.
We booked seats as opposed to the dance floor, it does get very crowded as others have mentioned. The dilemma then was do we get up to dance...some of the rows in front did but those behind us didn't. In the end we got up and danced through one song, that felt to us appropriate...we didn't want to ruin the view and the venue does encourage you to get out of your seat. Its always going to be tricky to please everyone.
The show was very slick, I thought the volume was spot on, the effects are amazing. Yes the close ups of the band members were on occasion obviously AI like but come on...it's never pretended to be otherwise.
I liked the live bands rendition of Does Your Mother Know, I wasn't keen on the animated parts, I'd rather watch Abba but maybe they're just trying to mix it up a bit.

How can anyone put a bad review..

How can anyone put a bad review... this show was absolutely amazing, visually stunning the band were phenomenal, oceanbird lounge food and drinks were great, staff friendly... special mention to Lewis who made the night, only 1 little detail that I would say needs improvement.. keep the lounge open a little longer after the show.

I really wanted to give this event 5…

I really wanted to give this event 5 stars, however, the following permitted me from doing so.

Firstly, I paid over £300 for x2 SEATS. There was a dance floor and dance booths for spectators who wished to dance. Our evening was spoilt by 2 entitled people who stood up, blocking our view. The staff did absolutely nothing to rectify this.

Drinks, £9.45 for a glass of mulled wine. Total rip off. Food and merchandise was also ridiculously overpriced.

There was also a lack of seating prior to the event starting.

The event itself was quite underwhelming due to obscure cartoons being played and a solo performance from the backing singers? There was also very few 'popular' ABBA songs played.

The positives..

The toilet facilities were good,

The lasers/visuals were excellent, probably the best I've ever seen.

It's a shame that a few selfish people are enabled to spoil the experience for others. The staff really should enforce people in the seated area to remain seated. Overall, an expensive dissapointment.

ABBA Voyage Review

ABBA Voyage Review – 7 December
I attended the ABBA show on 7 December and left with very mixed feelings. Many of the positive and negative comments I had read beforehand turned out to be true.

Positives ✨
- ABBAtars looked incredibly lifelike. At times, I genuinely thought real performers were on stage rather than digital projections.
- The light show was spectacular. Visually stunning and perfectly executed.
Unfortunately, the positives end there...

Negatives ⚠️
- Large screen visuals broke the immersion. While the ABBAtars looked real on stage, the illusion collapsed when shown on the big screens. Their drawn appearance was obvious, and two songs were even presented entirely as cartoons, which felt out of place.
- Poor song sequencing. The concert opened with two lesser-known/new songs, leaving the audience confused and silent. Successful shows usually begin with a hit, mix in a few lesser-known tracks, and close with the biggest songs. Starting weakly set the wrong tone.
- Excessive volume. The sound was more like a rock concert than disco/pop. Heavy bass drowned out the beautiful voices of Agnetha and Anni-Frid.
- Overcrowded dance floor. I was fortunate to have a seat, but the standing area was so packed that people could barely move, let alone dance.

Overall Impression 🎶
I came hoping for full immersion—something that would transport me back to the 1970s with ABBA’s timeless songs and voices. Instead, the reliance on large screens, cartoon segments, poor song order, and overwhelming sound ruined the experience. Considering the high ticket prices, I left feeling it wasn’t worth the money. The concept of ABBAtars is brilliant, but the execution needs serious improvement in organization, setlist, and sound design.

Tips if You Still Plan to Go 💡
- Avoid the dance floor—it’s overcrowded.
- If bringing children, use ear protection (these may be available at the cloakroom).
- Consider having a glass of wine, champagne, or beer beforehand—it might help soften the overall impression.

WoW very cleverly presented the…

WoW very cleverly presented the lighting and the choir made it for me

Reflecting back it was a lot of money for a 1 1/2 hour show, when some of ABBA s greatest hits were missed out and two songs put in that not many people knew. This was a disappointment considering how short the show actually is . There were animated songs in there too!! Not playing Super Trooper and Mamma Mia was a big let down. Research what you are actually paying to see - would I go again no way very overpriced I’ll stick to a local tribute band.
Get there on time, we arrived a minute late and was held outside till the end of the first song yet people were up and down all through the show to buy drinks and go to the toilet

Dancing in front of us

Loved the music and lights. What really hacked us off was people dancing directly in front of us so we couldn't see. Its a hugely visual performance and we were in seated area. If people want to dance why not go to the dancing area. Not impressed by the ignorant bunch of girls getting up amd down throughout the performance.

Great and caring work from the Accessibility Team!

Will be attending on December, not just wanted to shout out a massive "Thank you!" to Charis and the other members of the Accessibility Team for persevering with all my doubles, wants and requirements for ambulant seating, due to my disabilities and medical needs.

It did not make it easy, but they ensured that I will have a great birthday treat, by going that extra mile for me to get my tickets.

Super work. Really looking forward to my Abba Voyage experience!

Band too loud and poor continuity

Band too loud, no clarity from band singers which could be due to sound issues or pitch which I didn't think suited the ABBA songs.
Lots of short breaks between numbers affecting continuity of audience enjoyment and participation.
Special effects and lighting were the highlight.

Love the show

"Love the show, the technology is truly great, and it is absolutely worth the money. However, there are a few areas that were disappointing:
Song Selection & Performance: The choices of 'Eagle' and 'Voulez-Vous' featured a poor anime which visibly lost the audience. Most critically, during 'Does Your Mother Know,' the backing group performed the lead vocals instead of the ABBA avatars, and the rendition was quite poor.
Sound Quality: On my second visit, the music was excessively loud, with heavy, distorted drums, detracting from the overall sound mix.
Arrangement Disappointment: The songs were performed strictly in their original album form rather than with the energy and arrangement spontaneity typical of a live concert, which meant the performance lacked a certain 'live' magic.
Venue Entry Issues: I was unreasonably denied entry with a 500ml sports drink bottle, despite there being no published rules against it. When I questioned the security guard, his response—'they are always changing the rules'—was unacceptable and reflected poorly on the venue's customer service."

Don’t buy vouchers they can’t be redeemed for tickets currently

Son has bought me a ticketmaster voucher for two tickets. Been trying weeks to redeem the website doesn’t let you redeem contacted ticketmaster they say they are working on a fix and told us to fork out another 200 pound and eventually we can redeem the voucher. Seat’s disappearing every time we try for a certain date. It’s a joke. When he rang ticketmaster it cost him £5 to be told they know and there’s nothing they can do

Loved it - thank you for sorting out the T-shirt

5 star for the show - it was very cleverly done . I bought a t-shirt there ( very expensive ) , didn’t realise until I got home that it was marked. emailed the venue for a replacement, after chasing twice for a response , they quickly sent out a replacement T-shirt- thank you 🙏
