Crazy driver alert

You need to remind your staff that when they drive a company vehicle that they are representing the company and the brand image. The driver of one of your silver vans with a number plate BL10 driven by an older gentleman on the A41 on Wednesday March 17th evening at best did not represent your branch. His driving at best was dangerous. This included an overtaking manoeuvre where there was no clear and obvious gap to pull in to. Another overtaking manoeuvre where he pulled in to a junction in front of oncoming traffic and almost went in to the back of another vehicle. He then proceeded to drive at 80 mph straddling two lanes to prevent other road users from overtaking. You might also want to make sure the indicators are working on the vehicle either that or the driver needs to learn how to use them as on three consecutive roundabouts they were not used. There are always two sides to a story but I would be keen to understand his rationale for such abhorrent driving.

Thank you for reporting to us that our van driver was not driving courteously and exceeding the speed limit of 70 mph on a dual carriageway section of the A41 where you wished to overtake him travelli ng at more than 80mph We have advised him of the absolute necessity to always drive safely and courteously at all times.
