Its very sad to see the poor state of Australian TV. The only decent stuff they show nowadays is British. Australian knock-offs of various British shows with fifth rate Aussie comedians are embarrassingly bad. Aussie sitcoms also. And then they repeat the same shows all the time so theres nothing to watch most of the time. The only good show lately is Gruen.
What has happened abc?
If you don't have enough money then spend it more wisely. We really do not need more bad knockoffs with mediocre comedians who lack any real wit.

Unrealistic have no integrity anti australian, miss information channel waste of tax payers money. Defund and close.

ABC website news is just rubbish click bait, never any info in headlines, just click bait, you have to open the story to find out where, which town, when etc, they should be ashamed to work there and take taxpayers money for this slop, shame on you abc employees, shame...

The most bias , one sided, left wing news channel in Australia… once upon a time the best news channel in Australia, unfortunately has deteriorated to the point where it is almost unreadable…very disappointing almost to a point of being a disgrace…

followed the news channel for years but sad to see that it is slowely becoming a “current affair” style of news, one sided interviews, extended interviews on subjects that will just cause more hate/issues on that subject. Just report the news and not what the people running the ABC want to show

The ABC News channel has been constantly reporting on Sussan Ley. ABC always brings in their own so called political expert to comment on the situation. His comments are usually totally wrong but suits the ABC left wing agenda. our taxpayer funds would be better spent if you concentrated on the Labor party’s lies and failures but this probably wouldn’t suit your left wing agenda would it??

Abc channel is unfortunately very biased and racist channel. They focus their news on one certain group and race. As if there is king race and slave race. This is likely because the management come from certain group. Keep that in mind when watching them....

ABC continue to withhold important occurances happening daily with regard to the Royal Commission demands. As you are tax payer funded, ABC has a responsibility to not be biased and allow all Australians to feel safe on a daily basis and show they care about our National safety. Please do the right thing and report all the news and allow Jewish people a voice as well.

I like ch 24 in particular news, however not enjoing "The breakfast couch", changing to any other ch ASAP. That program should be removed. Also many programs like "Australian story", "Four corners" are repeated too mamy times.

Continued bias - this time about aboriginal 'history' on ABC online with the many historical opinions provided by aboriginal "story keepers". How about some objective analysis? Or is that too hard?

Seriously tax payers money 💰 & this is what we get I have never such a lame group of presenters so unprofessional a joke skipping around like pre school waist of dollars.

ABC TV programming with QI is as bad as Channel 10 with NCIS. Every three week they do a rotation of the same episodes, QI with Sandy Toxic. Over and over with the same faces, Stephen Fry did 13 years and 180 episodes which the ABC broadcast. Maybe get the cobwebs from those series and show them instead of the Toxic ones repeated incessantly.

The ABC is funded by Taxpayers who get a very poor return for their Taxpayers dollars. From inept reporters to bias opinions and unseaworthy reports. They are really pushing women's sport instead of covering more important sports. I am not saying women's sports should not be covered, but pushing it as a priority is not of interest to most viewers.
The ABC has become so boring and watching for 5 mins at a time is enough.
The ABC should be defunded and made to stand on its own feet as viewers have left in droves, and you can see why.

I think it’s appallingly obvious that the presenter Sarah Ferguson uses every opportunity to promote the Labor Government’s policies and propaganda. She CONSTANTLY interrupts (“let me just, let me just, let me just interrupt you there”) any guest opposed to government policy, and willingly allows pro-government interviewees uninterrupted freedom to spruik their ideas.
She talks over the guests she disagrees with constantly, she is rude, aggressive and opinionated.
It isn’t her role to promote HER personal views, but to allow every guest the opportunity to express theirs. She is welcome to challenge, but in a more respectful way, and less obviously simply parroting Labor/Green policies and propaganda
Her comrade in arms Laura Tingle is of the same ilk, and both should be removed from their positions under violations of the ABC’s charter of “independent journalism”.
