they canceled the day of pick up. they doubled the price if you still wanted service that day. They canceled the contract the next day saying that they could not find a driver at the initial price. So basically they give you a low price to work with and then they raise it. Better tell the truth from the beginning and the person decides if it suits him or not and this happens with many companies.

I've used ABC Car Shipping twice and they've been awesome both times! Garret was super helpful and kept me in the loop during the whole shipping process. He answered all my questions and made it stress-free. Plus, their prices were really good compared to other companies I checked out.

I had set up a shipping date with this company, because of their good reviews. The late morning the car was to be picked up, I got a text from the driver, asking me if I had booked with other companies. I told him no, this was the only company I'd booked with and I was counting on him to transport my car. He told me I had booked with other companies--basically calling me a liar--and canceled! At the last minute! Frantic--I was flying out the next morning--I called ABC and told them what had happened. I told them I needed them to find another transporter, and that I expected to pay the same price. The fee went up $400, and someone did pick up the car early the next morning. This whole thing was very upsetting and unprofessional, and significantly more expensive than originally planned.

My experience with ABC Car Shipping was positive until 2 hours before the car was supposed to be picked up. They had assured me that the car would be picked up on the day we agreed to for a cost of $745. Two hours before the time window on that day began they called and told me that the carrier was no longer able to pick up the car. My contact person said he would try to find an alternative. After a couple of stressful hours he told me he found a new carrier but that the cost would be $900 because the driver would only be transporting one other car. This was not true, as confirmed by the dispatcher of the new carrier who said that no one had asked about how many other cars were on that driver's trailer (he had at least 6). The car was picked up after 10 PM that day and delivered 4 days later (as opposed to the 2 days promised by my ABC contact--another lie). The dispatcher at the actual carrier told me that ABC Car Shipping has a history of over-promising their customers and then canceling at the last minute. So I suggest that any potential customer be aware of the possible last minute changes to the contract causing undue delays and higher charges.

Overall a great experience for the first time shipping a car. The pickup of my car got canceled the day prior to pickup. Garret was able to get me someone last minute to have my car delivered to its destination.
