Was promised a locksmith in 90 minutes at a very high rate due to it being 7.30pm. They never turned up and when I called back 2 hours later to enquire if someone was coming they said no. I had to sleep in my truck after doing a 14hour day at work. I would never recommend or use this company again. Very poor.

Extremely Poor Service.
I called them on July 3rd, 2020 and booked a window glass replacement and was given a time of before 19.30 that day. Later, I received a call saying the tradesman called in sick and it was re-booked for Monday, July 6th. No tradesman arrived and I was not contacted by Abel and when I called them, I was told it was re-booked for Tuesday, between 09.00 and 10.00. Again, no one arrived so I called Abel and cancelled the work. They thought my remarks about their very poor service were unfair! Why are they in business?
Absolutely terrible
Absolutely terrible. Don't bother with them. We've been without heating and hot water (in mid-winter) since last night. We were promised a repair person between 9:00 and 12:00. This was pushed back to between 13:00-17:00, which was again pushed back until before 20:00. They still didn't turn up then and didn't bother to phone to tell us. We chased up only to be lied to that they couldn't come because of the road conditions (which is currently gentle drizzle with no snow or ice for a short drive down a dual carriageway). If they'd just been honest and said no one was available we could have found someone else and not had to spend another night with no heating.
Total Let Down!
Good customer services and quick to take card details for payment. Let down 3 times for the appointment and was just given a very insincere “sorry”. Why offer a 24hr service which cannot be honoured? Do not go near this company!!
Expensive and lengthy
The company was good in terms of promptness from referral to arrival. Electrician was personable and skilled. However, the job estimate was never clear and it was a lengthy piece of work to install 2 electrical sockets. This was an extremely expensive job and I would not recommend this for non urgent jobs.

I had the misfortune of using the Abel Group, to fix my heater boiler.
I was quoted £72. For the first half hour.
The plumber arrived and although I had told them the fault code, asked what was wrong.
He did not bring in any tools, so had to go out to collect them from his van, I sat in my living room do I could see his reflection in my kitchen units, talk about time wasters, just staring at the boiler
On the phone twice and again out to his van to get steps. He was there for ONE HOUR 5MINS THESE TIMES ARE OF HIS JOB SHEET. NO parts fitted total £259.10p. the boiler again failed with the same fault code, another plumber pressed the reset button and the boiler started.
I complained firstly about the time wasting and the fact they charged £72 for 5 mins. They did
Refund the 5 mins bill £72 +vat. But asked me to obtain written "proof"" from the other plumber,
Obviously this guy said no, I'm not getting involved, and he did not charge me. I sent photo proof
Of the fault code with the newspapers date, also the same again when the other guy fixed it.
They told me they said that was not proof of anything and would not entertain my request for a full refund.we are O.A.Ps and were robbed by a very dishonest employee/ company. I offered to put the other honest plumber on TrustPilot, but again he asked to no be involved in this issue.
To sum up..... nearly £200.00 for a few days, and no comeback. You have been warned.
No hot water 💦
Had engineer out today to do my boiler as had no hot water for 5 weeks he was here half an hour and done a fantastic job and all running fine had swale heating never again I'm sticking with able group more professional and actually know what they are doing great job technician was great too very polite and efficient miss michelle butler Maidstone xx
