So easy to choose and to order.

Having visited the store in saltney , Chester , I was greeted by staff members Nick and Charlotte who were most helpful in assisting in my needs for a suitable scooter,
Every aspect was covered to suit me perfectly and I am so grateful for taking the time and care with me
My new scooter is excellent thankyou so much

Nathalie was exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Ableworld stores do not stock batteries for Jolly Sport scooters which means they have to be ordered. They stock batteries for all the other scooters so why not Jolly Sport. This causes an inconvenience

I spoke to Nick on the phone and was given lots of advice. I dropped in to look at wheelchairs and 4 wheel walkers and was greeted by Nick who was very friendly and helpful. When my husband came out of hospital we came into purchase many things to make my husband's life much easier and Nick fitted them, to make the heights would work. Thank you Nick you are a star that gave great help at a difficult time.

Dan and Zoey were really helpful following my wife's accident. We were supplied with a scooter at a very reasonable rate, given full instructions on how to pack into our car. A very positive experience and highly recommended

Excellent service 👌 wonderful people 🥰 There was no hurry to get the sale. I was left to facetime chat with my sister (a good 20 minutes) then chatted with Mum (as it's her chair) then my sister again. Before explaining everything Mum needed. Nothing was too much trouble. All sorted in one visit. Fantastic 👍❤️👍👌

I live alone in an upstairs private purpose built flat (only 2 floors) & was considering a stair lift. I phoned Ableworld (Saltney) & they quickly arranged an engineers visit. Engineer called to view, advise fitting & installation & to take the necessary measurements. I'd had a couple of concerns but he explained everything thoroughly & left me a quote with all the details until I was decided. I'd been considering a reconditioned but decided to buy new. I phoned 2 weeks later & arranged for installation yesterday (4 July 2025) by the same engineer - Mark Darlington. He called on time & quickly fitted the stairlift which proved to be a quieter job than I expected & left no dust or mess at all. He then guided me through its operation, demonstrated how to use it & then had me do it myself. He also confirmed details of the warranty & where to phone if there's ever any problems. Mark was very pleasant throughout & very obviously knowledgeable in the product which is just so reassuring. I've already used it several times & love it. So a big thank you from a very happy customer!!

Our recent experience was excellent. No hard sell and lovely staff who allowed mum to take her time. We got a lovely riser/recliner which is perfect for what we need. The after service is also amazing. Speedy responses and great communication. Brilliant service - wouldn't go anywhere else. Well done

What an amazing shop! We brought my elderly father to the Chester branch to choose a walker. Nicholas served us - he was fantastic! …no hard sell just good advice to help us choose the right kind of equipment. We’re so pleased, my father had been in a lot of pain using a single walking stick so which had deterred him from going out. Now, however, he’s really taken to the walker & is able to walk longer distances more quickly and confidently. He’s so much happier- thank you! - great shop, fantastic staff!

I visted the store in Saltney near Chester today. Both Nick & Ryan were absolutely outstanding & so caring & knowledgeable.
They went above & beyond to help me in a very difficult situation-Thank you both very much.

After less than 14 days, they woukd accept the wheelchair back which was sold the wrong size. As I could of fell out off. Size 18 sold but needed a 16.
Just spoke to the manager at the chester branch, who just could not give two craps, she is playing with our life's, then when said chair was sold worksizes not willing to take back. (Still have your wheel chair under the stairs in the way). Would you accept a return now, I would even take 20% off.

Staff in both the store and the installation team are fantastic. They've been absolutely brilliant with advice and support with assistance kit. The store is well stocked and they are always happy to help with practical advice.

A 1st class service from start to finish. Took my Mother in Law in to the Saltney branch (Chester) to look at assistance chairs. The manager of the store Helen, was extremely helpful, providing advice regarding size, seating positions, how to minimising potential pressure areas. We selected a chair there and then. Helen had the appropriate size coming in the following week.
When the chair came into store, and Mother in Law decided she wanted it. Helen went out of her way to arrange deliver the same day.
Delivery was FREE, amazing to find a company offering this additional extra. The delivery team were patient and informative when telling Mother in Law how to use the chair - even taking time to advise on speaking to medical staff about pressure cushions.
I can honestly say, I have never wrote a review before, but due to the excellent service of this team felt I had a duty to, as a special thanks to them for making my Mother in Law so happy! "I can feel the relief in my legs already"

Yesterday I went to your Chester store to look at Mobility scooters, I was feeling quite nervous and unsure about using one, I was served by Chris who I cant speak highly enough off he listened to my concerns, and was really helpful, he turned an experience that I wasn't looking forward too into a really enjoyable experience, also a shout out too Nick who helped put my mind at rest, you should be really proud of your staff in your Chester store, today I used my scooter and had an amazing time

I purchased a four wheeled walking aid from Ableworld
Saltney near Chester. The service was outstanding. The young man who attended to me was very patient and helpful and was not trying to push a more expensive model. I would strongly recommend this branch to anyone needing to purchase an aid for a handicapped person.

Been thinking about buying a Mobility Scooter after using a hired one on several occasions ~ got my very own now!

Went to able world today to find something to enable my dad to walk better. We were served by a lovely young man. We think he is called Nicholas. He treated my parents with respect. He went out of his way to help and we did buy a three wheeled walker. What a lovely experience. Ableworld should be very proud to employ such a lovely young man.

We visited Ableworld Chester store following a recommendation from a friend. We cannot sing the praises of Helen enough. She was helpful, patient, informative and made my mother and I feel totally at ease. The experience from beginning to end was a shining example of what truly excellent customer service should look like.
Based on our experience today, we will be recommending Ableworld to friends and family.

Really first rate customer service from Ableworld Chester. I was released from hospital yesterday after a hip replacement and found that none of our chairs at home were really suited to me during recovery. Dave at the store was able to come up with a suitable chair and deliver it to us this same afternoon. He was more than happy to take the time to adjust it to suit me and to rearrange some of our furniture to make room for it. Thank you so much.

Got 2 replacement batteries. I fitted them and charged for a week with a charger they had advised after the last batteries got from them were faulty. Went to try the batteries and flat in under a mile. Pushed the mobility scooter home, put on charge and tried again. Didn't even get as far as the previous time. Tried leaving on charge for a week and no better. Took them back and they put them on a tester which said they were fine. Charged again for a full week and tried again. Less than a mile. Borrowed some batteries the same capacity, fitted, charged and tried. After 5 miles were showing low but still going. All batteries were charged with the same charger. Now going to find someone independent who actually knows how to test a battery. 1 star was the minimum I could give even though lower would have been more honest. Unhelpful staff and rubbish product. 6 months warranty. Have since bought for half the price from a battery supplier and with next day delivery got 2 batteries for a £1 more than a single battery at ableworld cost, they do 6 miles and have a 12 month warranty
