I love abnormal as a meal replacement. It’s personalised to suit my lifestyle, tasty and filling. And I know that I’m getting all the right nutrients in a very convenient meal. And it’s also versatile as to how you want to have it; as a drink or as a porridge, or add some fruits to make a smoothie.

I have used abnormal since giving birth to my second child. I was really nervous about having time to make meals and skipping food especially when breastfeeding. Abnormal meant I could have a shake easily and didn’t have to miss out on the nutrients that I needed. Fast forward 10 months on and I still use abnormal because I’m back to the normality of a busy life! It’s great for mornings as I can just grab the sachet and the shaker and I don’t have to measure it out beforehand or fuss around with pots to store the powder in. I definitely plan to keep using it as it keeps me on track with my protein intake too as I’m a vegan. All in all a great product and I’m really happy with it!

I'm a few deliveries in now and still enjoying my lunches very much. I travel a lot with work and was struggling with lunches so gave Abnormal a go after a recommendation from a gym friend. They are tailor made for each individual, I am finding myself not snacking between lunch and evenings.

The flavours are good, im not a chocolate flavour fan but thats just me, the only difficulty I have is deciding about water or milk to make them.

The Abnormal team is great, as are the other users on the online forums. You get all the advice, guidance and support you need along with some perfect ideas to try out.

I absolutely love Abnormals shakes. I have one every morning for breakfast and it fills me up until lunchtime which is great.

Prior to starting with abnormal I knew I wasn’t hitting my daily intake of vitamins, protein etc but now I don’t even think about it as Abnormal’s clever algorithm works out exactly what I need. The shakes are quick and easy to make and taste great.

The team are so professional, friendly and supportive. I would highly recommend abnormal.

I've been using abnormal for a few months now and it's really helped me get into a normal eating routine, I'd usually skip out on lunch and just eat junk throughout the day which I've cut down on doing significantly. Also the personalisation with the nutrition is astounding, I've had a few issues with vitamin upkeep and now I get all the nutrition I need to keep a healthy body. Would definitely recommend to anyone thinking of giving it a go.

There are a lot of businesses out there selling meal replacement shakes, but Abnormal is the only one that I've seen take a personal interest in delivering the best possible service to their customers. The community is active, the company listens to it's customers, and the product is genuinely really good. I'm personally looking forward to seeing this company grow into a household name!

I have been using abnormal for a few months now and it is fantastic. The product is great and the company is warm and friendly. I would highly recommend abnormal to anyone who wants a healthy option for meals they don't have time to cook, or to improve their diet with a personally tailored supplement. They taste great too.

I gave the trial a go after a mate told me he’d lost half a stone using it. I’m now on my second subscription box and love it.

The sachets are a brilliant idea and easy to recycle as they are paper. Take note all other plastic brands. The flavours are great and I noticed I’ve got a few ingredients in mine to help me destress as I travel a lot with work and it’s quite intense.

Overall I’d recommend to anyone looking to lose weight or eat healthier.

Really easy company to deal with. You can delay or pause your order with no issue. I am using the shakes to help with weight loss and so far have lost 20lbs. I use shakes during the day and eat normally at night😃👍

I use abnormal. every lunchtime at work and it's completely changed my day-to-day. I feel full without being bloated, have boosted energy levels and genuinely look forward to the flavours, which are the best I've ever tried in regards to similar products. They're zero-waste, efficient and I couldn't recommend more for those with hectic working days!

This has been fantastic for my weight loss journey especially as I work shifts and do not have time to make a protein rich breakfast. It tastes good unlike other protein shakes. Has been worth every penny.

I have been subscribed to abnormal for about a year now & look forward to my monthly delivery. I have never experienced any issues with changing delivery dates or flavours. One thing to note is that I have tried other meal replacements in the past and they have only ever lasted for a single bag as the flavours or texture have been below par. Whilst abnormal can be a tad too sweet at times, I still enjoy the flavours. A chocolate mint or chocolate orange flavour would be nice.
Oh, and they are plant based too

Was looking to replace lunch time sarnies at work, reduce bread consumption, spent numerous hrs looking at these meal replacement options and finally decided to give adnormal a try, the trail package was a great influencer.
So I've been using abnormal for 4 mths and have been pleasantly surprised at the outcome.
Simple to take to work and mix, few more flavours would be useful, taste, consistency suits me.
Benefits, the reduced bread and associated fillings consumption, reduced weight although this was not planned, it satiates me throughout the afternoon and generally more energy, I'm on my feet all day.
I've changed the order without any problems as per info given in advance.
Cost wise, well thats my choice.

So, I saw the trial box and thought I would give it a go. Here are my thoughts...

One of the things that stood out was that it was personalised and not just an off-the-shelf product. They asked personal questions, so gave me the confidence that it was in fact, designed for me.

I own a small business and often struggle to find time to eat, often missing meals, and my partner ordered their own set as a trial also. Skipping meals isn't good so why not try...

On delivery, which I must say was quite quick, we were excited to give them a try. When you get the box, it appears personalised with your name and a booklet that contains details about how the meal can help you... but, on closer comparison between the two boxes, both hold exactly the same nutritional content and taste exactly the same.

Regarding the taste, I like it. It's sweet and oaty. It does leave an aftertaste but I wouldn't say it was unpleasant.

The shaker does need a very good shake to make sure it is mixed well, otherwise, it leaves some powdery bits. If you get any of them, just give it another shake, simple.

In terms of whether it satisfies my hunger, I would say it does, but not to the extent of feeling full.

At only 350 calories, people need to be careful that they do not use these as a replacement for their main dietary intake.
We need at least 1200 per day, with a recommended intake of 2000 for women and 2500 for men.

What do I think?
I think it is a little mis-sold because I don't believe the actual product is personalised, only the marketing behind what the product can do for you (based on the areas you say you need help) BUT in terms of providing a quick, nutritionally loaded meal replacement for lunchtime, this does fit the bill. I have been able to consume the nutrients I need without worrying about how I will fit lunch in.

Cost:
The trial box, at £4.99 for the delivery including the shaker, BARGAIN... worth it for the 7 meals... but at nearly £60.00 a month for 30 meals, I will be considering whether to renew. I may order bi-monthly to give me 15 meals each month... just for the days where I find myself short of time (working days)

Overall:
I like the flavour. Worth it for a replacement meal when you're short on time. Not a bad price for only £2 per meal.
It would be handy if abnormal did a 'working week' box of 20 meals (5 days a week, 4 weeks a month), for £39.99. Maybe worth considering?

I see how this would attract a number of negative reviews, and how it would not be for everyone, but in my honest opinion, if you can get hold of the trial box, it is worth trying it for yourself.

i tried half of the trial box but was then hospitalised for a stomach problem , i have been in and out of hospital since . fortunately i have lost loads of weight because of this issue. i am a 70 yr old disabled lady house bound and i have just recieved another subscription box today which means i now have half the trial box and three more.i will not be able to continue with this product so i need to cancel any ,further boxes ,thank you maybe i can try again sometime in the future.
