They don't refund money correctly. I never use this website again.

I cannot get my refund money back. Their customer service is a joke, I've contacted them 4 times! And they always have a silly reason and ask to wait - first time for 5 days, second time for 6 days, then they've asked to update my credit card (which was added months ago!), then, again, just wait and wait and wait. And still no money! I'm going to contact legal authorities regarding this case.

Good quality clothing at a good price.

I have to say that I feel somehow relieved that apparently I'm not the only one having trouble receiving my money back. Too bad I didn't read all these comments in here before placing my last two orders. What a massive disappointment... giving them just a few more days and since their customer service is the biggest joke too, I'll seek my customer rights through the authorities.

Like many others I have been scammed by this 'company' - waiting for refund for about 2 months with no chance to receive it. All the communication is with bots sending senseless e-mails. Calling customer service is of the same nonsense - operators keep reading the same prescribed messages of technical issues, unconscientious partners, heartfelt apologies - does anybody still believe in this s**t. With the merger with zalando it will just dump its customers. Stay away from this 'company', if you value your time and money.

Something negative is undoubtedly going on with this store. I had been their customer for years, and it was always great – fast delivery and quick refunds. My last two returns in July – I still haven’t received a refund, and judging by other customers’ reports, this has clearly become their new practice. I’m sorry I didn’t notice this earlier, and I definitely advise avoiding purchases here. After years of shopping with them, I’m unfortunately ending it, as it’s obvious they are having problems. I just hope I at least get my money back.

Like so many others I have been waiting for my money for several weeks now - returnreciep recieved 16th July and every email or phone contact with customerservice tells the same story; that they do not get any contact with their economical department(????) there are issues with card payback and so on - Can anyone from the customer service tell us what is going on! I am now reporting them to the authorities

Wie so viele andere warte ich nun schon seit mehreren Wochen auf mein Geld. Die Rückerstattung kam am 16. Juli, und jede E-Mail und jeder Telefonkontakt mit Kundenservice erzählt die gleiche Geschichte: dass sie keinen Kontakt zur Finanzabteilung bekommen (????), es gibt Probleme mit der Kartenrückzahlung und so weiter. Kann uns jemand vom Kundenservice sagen, was los ist? Ich werde sie jetzt den Behörden melden.

I wanted to order some clothes. When I clicked on buy or payment or whatever the button is.. The website said: Something went wrong. Of course they still took the money from my account.
No e-mails, no notifications, call.. nothing from their side. So I wrote to the customer service. They said the did not even have the selected pieces of clothes stored right now. It happened almost 1.5 months ago.. I am still waiting for my refund (the package of course did not arrive at all)
They promised 3X that the money is already on its way and then suddenly: ohh can you please still send this document or this receipt from your bank etc etc.. I already see the answer to this review: Please contact customer service etc… I counted it.. By now I have sent more than 15 e-mails about my case with pictures
Nothing…. so I wrote the European Consumer Organisation and also to a lawyer.
This company is a joke. Never again.. for sure.

They haven't refunded the money for returned items for several months now! The customer service center either doesn't respond or just replies with a standard phrase: "your issue is being processed by the finance department."

I received the wrong item — something I never even ordered. I contacted customer service, and they asked me to return it at my own cost, which I did. I sent the item back promptly and shared the tracking details, expecting a refund as promised.

It’s been months, and I still haven’t received my refund.
I had to pay for shipping out of my own pocket, even though the mistake was on their side.

Very disappointing experience. I can’t recommend this company and won’t be ordering again.

About You has a massive selections of clothings, shoes, and other stuff and i really like that they always have really good brands on sale....like super sale! This is my on the go online shopping store whenever i want something with a good quality for reasonable price.

They don"t give you your money back after you return the goods.

Dear About You Customer Service,
I am writing to express my frustration and disappointment regarding the refund process for a return I made. The item from my cash on delivery order was received at your warehouse on June 3rd of 2025, ( order number aygr-686-326106450)
and yet I am still waiting for my refund…
Over the past few weeks, I have contacted customer service multiple times and spoken with more than five different representatives. Unfortunately, each time I was given a completely different explanation for the delay
One agent claimed there was an issue with my bank account.
Another told me the refund process had been completed and I would receive my money within 15 business days.
The next said there is an ongoing issue with cash-on-delivery refunds and that the central office in Germany has been informed.
To be completely honest, I would strongly advise against placing any cash-on-delivery orders with About You. It’s clear that refunds are either deliberately obstructed or simply not processed at all, and your staff are forced to lie to customers just to cover up the issue.

I placed an order from Hungary on 30 April 2024 for around 120 EUR. The payment cleared instantly, but I never received a confirmation email, tracking number, or, most importantly, the tracksuit itself. After more than two months and countless follow-ups, the only “help” I got from customer service was an arrogant, template-style reply telling me to “wait patiently,” then complete silence. They now ignore every email.

In short: they’ve kept my money, never delivered the product, and treat legitimate complaints with disrespect. If you value your time, money, and sanity, shop elsewhere.

Best experience for online shopping! I always hate ordering from other companies as I struggle with the returns always if the product doesn't fit.

I ordered articles worth a whopping 422.83 € just because I was offered a discount voucher of 20%. I expect a voucher of at least 30% to keep the my shopping spree going....Aboutyou.de should take note of this and sponsor my purchases sometimes...I love shopping at aboutyou.de

The delivery was very fast .. although the package was little damaged ... Mach nichts. The product was exactly how it was shown in the pictures although the colour was little different

Love shopping on this website. Buying is very easy and also delivery is fast. If you like to return something then that can be done also very easily.
