Got my first subscription box and I am really pleased with the books I've received, good selection of different genres and really looking forward to reading them. Nothing better than reading a physical book.

On box 2 I have loved all the books I've received. Differently worth a go.

Very happy with my subscription box. Very quick to answer any questions and easy to move your subscription to a different genre or frequency if required.

I have had 4 boxes now and will definitely continue with the subscription. The price is great, the student discount a bonus. The ability to change the genre, date of delivery and to skip a box are excellent additions. Oh and the specialised boxes which pop up every now and then are a great idea.
And the books themselves are really great. Quite a few have been books I wouldn't have picked up normally but I've really enjoyed most of them.

Signing up to this was such a good move. I got back into reading and I wanted to expand my reading repertoire- this was perfect for that. I chose the mixed subscription (which you can still slightly tailor by selecting topics you do not want included) and I love every delivery I receive. I recommend it to everyone at any given opportunity! If you enjoy reading then I certainly recommend subscribing. I love having a physical book and the price per book is an absolute steal!

A superb subscription box, delivering 4 brand new books that are picked according to an algorithm to suit you. These books may otherwise be left gathering dust or destroyed, as they haven't made the bestseller list. However, they have received great reader reviews. Each book is picked by an algorithm going through real reader reviews to pick the books. You can choose how often your subscription renews and it is competitive in price! You can save on your initial box by joining the mail list and there are fab perks with every 3rd box. I just got a free book in box three! My three fiction boxes have had such a wonderful range of books, each with some superb reads! I am very excited by 3 of my reads this month and the other 2 sound promising too. Even better than saving 4 books per box and saving landfill, is knowing that some of the proceeds from the profits go into supporting literacy! I highly recommend A Box of Stories to all book lovers. The tough decision will be choosing what genre of box to pick! It isn't set in stone though so change your mind when you like or pick the mixed box!

It took me a long time to find a book subscription box I thought was right for me. But this is definitely it!
Being able to change, pause or end my subscription whenever I want is a fantastic feature for me.

I was looking online at book subscriptions I could get and came across the website and was intrigued by the number of books you get in each box, the idea of getting books I wouldn't normally pick up or have heard of and also saving books.  I  ordered a gift subscription and the first box arrived promptly, in great condition, and all the books still have that new book smell!! I am thoroughly impressed by the quality and am so happy that ABoS is doing what they are, and helping to showcase underappreciated authors. After getting my first box I then ordered a subscription gift box for my daughter of YA books and she was thrilled with them all including the signed copy of a book. Overall, a brilliant experience, I highly recommend to all.

I saw their ad on Instagram and, although I was intrigued, I left it well alone for a while. A day later, I googled the company, read through their website and ordered a box (sci-fi and fantasy I believe). It arrived promptly, in great condition, and all the books still have that new book smell!! I'm partway through reading my first choice of the books I received and I am thoroughly impressed by the quality and am so happy that ABoS is doing what they are, and helping to showcase underappreciated authors. Their mission statement for reducing waste is true on so many levels - instead of wrapping the package in countless layers of bubble wrap and cling film as many companies do, they use small amounts of brown paper, enough to ensure no damage is done to any of the books. Overall, a brilliant experience, I highly recommend!

I love books! I have 100s of books to read but everytime I go into a bookstore ill buy more but what attracted me to a box of stories was not only the fact that they are saving books from being lost forever but also that I won't have any knowledge of what books I will be receiving! I love the surprise element! Every book I have recieved from them has not only got me thinking but also introduced me to new unique authors! I have been raving about a box of stories from the first box I got, I hope they gain many more subscribers and continue their quest in bringing joy to book lovers like me! X

Is there anything better than discovering new authors? Maybe knowing you’re saving books from being destroyed. This concept is excellent. 4 books every quarter (or sooner if you want). I can’t say how excited I was to open my box, not knowing what was going to be inside. There is such freedom with the subscription as well, meaning I can pause, change or cancel whenever I like. I would recommend to all book lovers.

I have been a subscriber for over a year now and have had around 17 boxes from ABoS. This month was the first that I received a book with some damage to the front cover and first few pages. As I could still read it this wasn't an issue, but I raised it for their attention. I've received a replacement book of another kind as an apology so I have the additional joy of an extra book this month. Fast, fantastic customer service and brilliant book selections. Best subscription box out there for book worms!

The box came very fast and I really like the variety of books that comes in it. The subscription is flexible so you can choose the frequency of the boxes and I like how they take your preference into consideration too. As someone who had been wanting to buy new books but was not certain on what I wanted to read, this is a very good service and you are saving books that might otherwise go unknown. Overall, I’m happy with this and am looking forward for my next box :)
