Bad design fault with some of their keys
We have an issue with my ABS Ultimate key bending whilst in my pocket. None of my other keys on my keyring which includes a ABS Pioneer key have ever bent and I've never had this issue with any other keys in the past.
It's so thin across a cross section and part of the side of the key is missing. This is because of the amount of material that's been removed due to the size/diameter of one of the indents/holes on both sides. And this has created a very weak point across the key..
I'm sure that not every BS Ultimate key will have this fault, as not every key will have the same size of indent.
It's bent twice in the last week. The first time I found it had bent at about a 30 degree angle, so I had to straighten it in a vice and today there's a slight bend.
They should really be made from stainless steel or titanium so they wouldn't bend.
I'm guessing that one day my key is going to break after bending a few more times.
Can’t say I’m happy as they're not cheap and they shouldn’t bend while being kept in your pocket.
