Worst user experience ever
the interface is cumbersome. There is no way to plan recurrent events. I think they should study a better UX perhaps copying from Google Calendar

Product Suggestion
I think there should be an option to select a timeline and put vacation days in it as a single chunk of vacation. For example - I am selection an timeframe of 1st to 31st December.. I am taking Mondays and Fridays off for first three weeks and then entire week from 23rd onwards.. Currently I have to apply 4 separate vacations for each Monday and Friday and then another week.. This is slightly annoying for applying and approving..

Using abesence.io made tracking…
Using abesence.io made tracking absences much easier for us. We are a small company and chose the option to track holidays and sick leave. Its nice that you can choose which feature you want to pay for, cause we do not have the need for heavy HR software. With absence.io the process was very smooth, with the communication and also how to handle the it online. Very intuitive. keep on going guys!

Austrian labor law not completely fulfilled
The tool itself looks good, is easy to use and suits startups very well. However, there is no option to save the time recordings in a legible form as a PDF. The Labor Inspectorate or tax auditors in Austria will not accept reports in Excel format.
