Our private tour exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, our guide and driver were warm, engaging, and incredibly organized, setting a clear tone for a seamless day. Their thoughtful planning allowed us to move effortlessly through each stop, avoiding the typical lines and crowds, which made the experience feel both intimate and unrushed.

What truly set this tour apart was our guide Eddy’s depth of knowledge. His passion for Mayan history brought Chichen Itza and the surrounding region to life in a way that felt immersive and meaningful, rather than just informational. You could feel the history, not just hear it.

One of the highlights was the flexibility and attentiveness to our family. When my son mentioned wanting a bit more adventure, they happily adjusted our itinerary and took us to a stunning cenote where he could swing into the water from a rope. It ended up being one of his favorite moments of the entire trip.

Even the drive itself was enjoyable, as we had the chance to connect more personally with Eddy and learn about the culture beyond the typical tourist lens. Every detail felt intentional, thoughtful, and tailored.

An absolutely exceptional experience. I cannot recommend this private Chichen Itza tour highly enough.

Feb 2026- We had ha full day visiting Chichen Itza and Ek Balam. Arturo was absolutely amazing! He was knowledgeable and passionate about everything he shared. He made our trip memorable. I will definitely be booking again in the future.

We did the 3 cenote with lunch and Arturo was our guide. Arturo definitely is living his best life. He was a great guide full of info on the cenotes with a witty sense of humor. He was delightful. Definitely no regrets about booking the excursion. It was well worth it and we thoroughly enjoyed Arturo as our guide. Would definitely book with them again it was an amazing experience. Arturo!!! This excursion was the highlight of my trip! It is completely a no hassle trip; our guide was waiting for us in the morning to pick us up, drinks the entire day were provided and so was lunch. We visited Tulum Ruins, a cenote of our choice, and lastly (and my favourite) we swam with the turtles at Akumal Bay. Our guide and driver were friendly, very knowledgeable and funny! We avoided the crowds at the ruins and our guide was great at taking pictures for us. We were basically the only ones at the cenote, so it was like a dream swimming in such a beautiful, peaceful spot. Snorkeling with the turtles was magical and we saw more that afternoon than on some scuba dives I have been on. I would 100% do a private tour with Absolute Adventure Mexico again!

Manuel was an excellent guide, and Rodrigo was a great driver, for our visit to Tulum and Coba, with a lunch at a local restaurant. Manuel was knowledgeable and very informative as he pointed out various archaeological and cultural features. We had a great time and enjoyed all aspects of the day.

It was the most incredible way to see cenotes. We went to two areas. one was just a beautiful as the other. Guide went above and beyond for my entire family. Such a great guy!

This is a review from our trip to Mexico in 2018.

Our day out with Absolute Adventure was the best part of the entire trip. This was not a huge bus tour, this was a guided one-on-one trip to fantastic places. With the help of our guide we arrived at Coba just before they opened. We were the first ones into the site and stayed ahead of the busloads of people - we felt like we had it all to ourselves. At the cenote we also were almost alone. Absolute Adventure provided everything we needed including an underwater camera. Swimming at the cenote was followed by a great lunch at a small local restaurant. We would absolutely book a trip with them again if we're back in the area.
