It was a nice experience and good transition. Customer service responds as soon as the available. The tutors are friendly. They make learning space interactive and everyone's opinion is heard. What I was not happy with is that I was not given an opportunity to choose my own classes.

Easy access to an informative student portal makes it effortless to navigate and to find student support.
The element of inclusitivioty across the College as well as in the academic skill webinars, lectures and neurodivergent sessions and other counselling related optional online webinars offered by Resh, was evident.
Informative and practical academic skills webinars, with collaborative application practices, were brilliant.
Good structured lectures-helps effective note taking.
Question time after sessions allows time for discussion.
An available helpdesk and portal online makes it very easy for students to reach out for support.
I experienced ACAP as an institution that is well organised.
The staff at ACAP went out of their way to support their students from all walks of life; eg the Tuesday session for neurodivergent students. ACAP focuses on the development of the student’ cognitive skills, critical thinking and applied skills in a very supportive and nurturing environment.

From the moment I spoke to an adviser from ACAP I knew it was the university for me. I doubted myself during my initial meeting before I began studying and I was immediately not only reassured but given a solution to solve the barrier stopping me from getting a higher education. Orientation day was exactly the same. Staff were beyond helpful and kind. I couldn't recommend ACAP enough 🙂 10 stars!

ACAP is fantastic! The team is super friendly, professional, and easy to work with. They really know their stuff and make the whole process smooth from start to finish. I was impressed with how responsive they were and how much they cared about making sure everything turned out right.

My classes have been great so far and the content is first class.

It was a good experience, the teaching staff had examples in the field when teaching their classes. One of the educators were understanding about my trauma when teaching one of the classes that included abuse in family and/or intimate relationships. So I am grateful for her letting me to a breather when it is too much for me to handle in one sitting.

I felt supported throughout my degree. The course content was relevant and interesting. Placement was found on my behalf and useful. Most of the teachers were amazing. I gained employment after completion and am in a role that I love. Highly recommend.

I liked content learned.

I disliked the form of assessments we had to do such as numerous essays all due around the same time. Lack of help when inquiring about placement struggles.

Most of the educators are with great knowledge and industry experience. They also showed understanding about adverse students' background.

So grateful for how I was able to do this great Graduate Diploma in Counselling!

Practical and useful training in counselling. I really enjoyed my studies and while I do not work as a counsellor I use all the training in my current work. Strongly recommended anyone thinking of learning more in the field psychology.

I completed my Master of Counselling and Psychotherapy at ACAP. The knowledge and skills I gained were above and beyond what I learnt in my Bachelor degree. I now run my own business and have achieved more than I ever envisioned.

I can't recommend ACAP highly enough. My experience there, from enrolment through to graduation, was the best I've ever had - and I've studied at UoN, USYD and UNSW. I found the quality of teaching and learning and the guidance and support I received left me feeling so capable, confident and good about my studies. I loved the course I did at ACAP many years ago. It allowed me to work in the area I love and prepared me well for the work.

Studying at ACAP was the best choice for my counselling and psychotherapy degree. The small size of class attendees gave us the opportunity to discuss and share important topics and how to handle it. The units materials were good too. The educates were good too.
