Priceworthy and a caring staff

It doesn´t matter what issues I have or what I need help with. Acast staff always attend to it and always follow up. I also feel that I get much for a small amount of money so the podcast platform is truly priceworthy.

Great overall but needs to fix this one thing

The service is great and customer service is great as well. The only thing I wish Acast did would be to fix the caching issue it has. In order for me to see my episode stats for any recent episode that was released, I have to clear out everything or go on another device to check it and that's very cumbersome to do.

Horrible

Horrible, as soon as I wanted to switch my podcast to another host, I can no longer sign into my account. I can't get ahold of customer service either because you have to be signed into the account to access it. They are basically holding my podcast hostage.

Easy to Use!

I’ve been using Acast since December 2022. I was brand new to podcasting, and Acast was so simple to use. I got my podcast on to all the major platforms and have never had any issues. I love that I can easily check my insights to see how the podcast is doing. I don’t see why I would ever switch to another service!

Great, so far

So far, Acast has been great. We recently moved from another service, and are very happy with Acast. I'd love so more promotional help, to help our podcast reach a larger audience. It's very hard to stand out in a filed of thousands of podcasts, of course.

I am a stand up comedian who finally agreed to start my podcast. My 1st question was how do I start and my media specialist said all you need is Acast and he was so right.
Acast has made my life so much easier and taken my show across the world while I sit in my home studio. I recommend you allow Acast to make your voice travel and your day easier too.

If you plan to monetize

If you plan to monetize, RUN.

Initially this was great -- easy set up, etc. etc. But I ran into an issue that delayed me getting my episodes up back about three months ago.

Because of that, they deleted my Stripe connection (connection to my bank account for monetization).

No worries. I get it. They gotta make sure there's a product to justify the purchase button.

When I was able to return to uploading and get things launched, I contacted them -- just like the error message on their website instructed.

It's not their fault and I was all kinds of nice about it. No reason not to be.

The help desk came back with reassurances and niceties that they'd get right on that and reset things.

And then went radio silent.

I contacted them again. Understanding and patient. Rinse, repeat.

And again. Understanding and patient. Rinse repeat.

I then tried their chat feature -- hot tip: it's the same people who will ignore you later in email, and they get back to you in chat "Within 24 hours."

*Shockingly* I did not hear back until the wee hours of the morning, which is the only time my assigned contact seemed to be on the clock.

It has been a MONTH of this. A. MONTH.

I'm lucky that this happened before I made my episodes live (I've had to reschedule my launch date three times because of this -- all audio uploaded and ready to go, just waiting on them to do their part). I have since deleted it all and requested they close the account.

I can only imagine what a nightmare it would be to have this issue when your product is being consumed and you're not getting paid for months.

EDIT: After I posted this, I was contacted by another help desk person to get it resolved. This person was friendly and professional, and asked that I give them a chance to fix it.

While there as *some* progress on resolving things, we are another three weeks into the whole ordeal and I'm getting the "gee sorry, please be patient" emails.

I do not blame the help desk. They are just the messengers for a tech crew that can't seem to do the one thing they are employed to do.

I have been more than patient. The one-star review remains.

Novice thumbs firmly up!

As a novice at podcasting, I stumbled upon Acast through online searches. It's taken me a while to get to grips with all Acast can do, but I've been delighted and impressed by the versatility, accessibility and its quite unpretentious user interface. The integrations have been easy to operate and I'm enjoying using the software on a regular basis. It doesn't feel a chore - it feels pretty simple and intuitive.
