Having limited experience working for a recruitment agency, I didn't know what to expect but the whole thing from my initial query of a job posting to being signed up by Accent on Recruitment has been a pleasure! Always extremely proactive on my behalf, answer queries very quickly and keep me up to date with changes. 100% professional but friendly and personable. 100% recommend to everyone!

I joined Accent in 2016, just before I finished my STL L3 course. They were welcoming and supportive at a time when I was still very nervous about going to work in different schools.
Work started off slow as I was fresh out of college but they kept regular contact and I picked up a few days a week in a range of local schools.
I have loved getting to work with different children in different environments and Accent was instrumental in giving me that oppertunity.

I worked up a good working relationship with several schools but 1 in particular has stood by me through thick and thin and thats where I have been working (through Accent) for the last 3 years.
Like many others, the lockdown came as a big shock but Accent stood by our side, keeping us up to date with work oppertunities and furlough.

Last week I was taken on by my current school and I couldn't be happier! I wouldn't have had this oppertunity if it wasn't for Accent.

The staff behind Accent are easy to talk to and keep contact with (you can keep contact via mobile/text, which I personally preffer) and are always available to answer any questions that you may have.

I know that if my circumstances ever change, then I will always have a home to return to with Accent.

I have worked for Accent as a supply teacher on and off over the last 11 years. Staff are always polite and efficient. They have a wonderful set of schools that offer regular employment. A fantastic agency to work for.

I couldn’t be more grateful to the staff of Accent. After starting with Accent in October 2020, during lockdown, I didn’t know what to expect. I was given work to fit around my studies straight away, which really surprised me.
Accent were also very helpful during full lockdown, in which I was furloughed and always kept up to date with any changes.
As time went on, I wanted more days work and Accent obliged straight away with more days. Since then, I have been given a permanent contract at a Primary school that I love, which would not have been possible without Accent.

After obtaining my TA qualification I thought my best opportunity to gain experience would be through agency work. I signed up to Accent on Education and they found me a full time position immediately, luckily for me that has turned into a permanent position. If I was ever in need of supply work in the future I would definitely return to Accent.

Accent on Education are a fantastic family run recruitment business in Newport, who go above and beyond to help their Teachers/Teaching Assistants to find the perfect role for them in school.

Accent on Education is a great teaching agency. They are very good at finding work for me and always take account of my preferences. Andrew, who I usually speak to, is supportive at all times.
