I have recently started my own firewood processing business in 2022 and was in need of a reliable and competent accountant who would be able to guide me through my first year’s tax return. Following an extensive search on Google, I came across AccKent Accountants and made contact with the delightful Sukh who explained the process and the support which they offer to new start-ups such as Urban Logs.

They offer a range of services and support for all levels of business groups and I was sent a breakdown of fixed fee charges for one-off company accounts and company tax returns. Sukh explained the process very clearly and I was happy to sign up to their fixed fee service, I was able to e-mail AccKent Accountants with any queries and they were always prompt, clear and concise with their responses.

I use Free Agent accounting software and once AccKent had been given access to my account it was so simple to ensure that all transactions had been reconciled and receipts attached, there were a few occasions when I was not sure which category a transaction should be recorded against and a quick e-mail would always see a fast response provided by AccKent.

My end of year accounts was completed in a very timely manner for me to sign off and ensure they were submitted to HMRC well within the deadline. It should be clear to you by now that this is a great accountancy firm with a fantastic team, Sukh is very professional and always responds to my questions and concerns promptly.
