Accused and threatened
I sold an account that I've had from 2006 as I haven't played the game for years, and have no intention of ever doing so again.
Payment was made on the 4th August 2023 and subject to a hold by PayPal for 21 days.
On the 15th August, I receive the following:
"We have noticed that you have recovered the following account from our possession [account name]. You will need to return payment for this account within the next 48 hours. If you're unresponsive, we will proceed to chargeback, get the account permanently banned for account sharing, and will take further legal action per the contract you signed. It's extremely disappointing how many hours the person who purchased this account from us put into this account for you to maliciously steal it back after we already paid you. We do not take account recoveries lightly as they negatively impact our business and reputation and will get our legal team involved if this is not resolved within the given time frame."
Which is absolutely disgusting, and obviously distressing as the account has NOT been recovered.
They have offered absolutely no avenue of questioning and instead opted to directly accuse and threaten me, knowing that I have no clear way to prove my side.
I'm not sure what happens next, but I was a happy customer prior to this, now? Absolutely not.
EDIT: Nothing has come of Andreina's reply below (not a single word) despite having provided the requested details immediately. They have now put my PayPal at a negative balance by disputing their original payment.
Do not use this service!
