ACE Rent A Car - Malpensa Airport-CLOSED Reviews 12

Ace were appointed to provide a hire car for us via Orbit. On arrival we telephoned in accordance with instructions (and also called their emergency breakdown line) but got no answer and were left stranded without a car. Ace accepted our booking in the knowledge that we would arrive around 5.30pm but chose to close their office before 6pm, which itself is odd.

The experience with ACE Rent a Car was overall positive, in particular the customer service has been excellent. Very responsive with the shuttle service and the car was good. The only little down side was a non accurate car damage log, although, I took photos when we collected the car and this was enough as a proof to prove that some damages were already existent in the car, so we appreciated this. I would like to add that they went above and beyond their duties, as I forgot my phone and sunglasses and thanks their cooperation I managed to book a pick up, as they prepared the parcel to be collected for me to recuperate my belongings. Recommended.

I want to report that ACE Rent a Car Malpensa Airport (BUT THE NAME OF THOSE WHO MAKE THE RENTAL IS RIM by Raimondo ILLIANO )for unfair rental and unprofessional behavior. The reference number for my booking is DYI-136146544, from Milan Malpensa Airport on doyouitaly.com
The car that was given me was dirty, with evident mechanical problems (such as convergence that had not been made properly, so that the car would drift to the right); however, the most critical problem was that the engine had no car additive AdBlue, so that a notification from the main system warned the car wouldn’t have started if it was not refilled (you may find a photo of it here attached). After speaking with their assistance, I was told I had to refill it myself, creating an important delay to my business trip. I was promised a refund for this expense - as they should have checked the car was OK before renting it - but as of today I still haven’t received anything.

I tried to solicitate an action on their part, but the front desk employees literally blocked my phone number (on Whatsapp as well), and the owner is trying actively to avoid any confrontation: they won’t answer to any calls unless I hide my phone number, and even after reaching to him he tried to instate a fake payment (a bank transfer to the wrong recipient, since my last name is “Giudice” and not “Del Giudice”) and now they won’t pick up the phone anymore.

In addition to this, other practices were suspicious: when given the car, the tank was 3/4 full instead of totally full, as if they want to scam their guests who may not notice this detail; it seems impossible to post a review of their company on Google, while Trustpilot.com shows thousands of heavily negative reviews.

Ho noleggiato un auto che mi è stata consegnata sporca ma soprattutto la cosa scandalosa è che ho dovuto comprare e mettere “l’additivo adblu”perché la macchina segnalava l’arresto dell’auto, autorizzata dall’assistenza che mi avrebbero restituito i soldi dell’additivo, alla riconsegna dell’auto non avevano i contanti e mi hanno detto di inviare una mail al customer service.
Ora, io dico, ho pagato un noleggio di auto sporca, ho perso un pomeriggio a cercare il distributore che mi facesse la ricevuta con La descrizione adblu altrimenti non mi rimborsavano, ho portato la macchina anche con gasolio in più perché loro non fanno il pieno ma lasciano il serbatoio alla 3 tacca così sei costretto a mettere sempre quei 5/20 euro in più, inoltre ho mandato la mail per chiedere un bonifico istantaneo e nessuno mi ha risposto, neanche un emoticon per dire; si tranquilla abbiamo letto 🤬🤬🤬🤬🤬
A dir poco OPPORTUNISTI APPROFITTATORI E RICATTATORI
Perché non hanno voluto neanche sostituirmela l’auto visto che la mancanza di adblu arresta l’auto
