DO NOT RENT FROM ACE RENT A CAR

DO NOT RENT FROM ACE RENT A CAR! They are also called Drivo which also owns Fox rental car. Stay away from all of them.

We were put in mortal danger because they rented us a car with 4 bald wheels down to the steel threads!

We got a flat on the highway because of all 4 wheels being bald. See photos.
We got an automated response when calling the 24/7 phone line that then texted us a link that did not work to open a roadside assistance case.
We had to replace all 4 wheels to get home because we were out of town and were told we would not be reimbursed for the expense because the car was our responsibility once we drove it off the lot.

If this was not enough, we did not get the car model we reserved AND were charged the $200 deposit when we had to spend our own money to replace bald tires or be stranded in another state.

I wrote the customer service team with all the details including receipt asking for full refund ($1325.03) for cost to replace 4 tires and my rental car expense for the danger Ace put me and my family in. This seems more than fair and was offered $100 "goodwill" refund which I never received. It's more evidence of the terrible service Ace provides.

They charge you extra SAYING YOUR CREDIT CARDS DON T WORK SCAM

My first experience with this company is not very good in Marrakech the guy Mustafa was very friendly and nice man but be careful, i had 2 credit cards without embossed number on them (they were originally from Uk banks ) and they told me they can not accept them to take my deposit of the car (1500€) ,(they can only take max 1200€ on these cards ) according to them )and that i need a card with embossed numbers on it , it doesn’t specify anywhere before booking these details , so they charged me extra 120€ ,the cards i had had more then enough limit and i used them with other rental companies in Marrakech many times only this company told me they don t accept it , very frustrating and it looks like small scam to charge people more ,so in short if your credit cards don t have embossed number DO NOT BOOK with then they will overcharge you , it s a shame but it s the truth

The adress where I rented my car is 8755 south Las Vegas blvd in Las Vegas Terrible avoid at all cost rent anywhere else not from this company total scammer unprofessional staff rude long wait far away front airport you need two shuttles staffs hates their job and rude
I had returned my car with no scratches no dents hardly drive it went from their location to the strip 20 minute drive and back I stoped very close to them across the street to fill gas no warning on dash and when I pulled in to give the car back the rude girl brandy sat in it and told me I have low tire pressure YES PEOPLE LOW TIRE PRESSURE in the back we looked and the tire was leaking air you can hear it
She filled an accident report form and told me they will charge me for it
Coming back home they charged my card 500 US dollars the scammers now I’m fighting with them yes 500$ for a flat tire

I had a fantastic experience with this…

I had a fantastic experience with this car rental company, specifically at their Katowice Airport (Katowice–Pyrzowice) branch. The pickup process was incredibly fast – it took no more than 5 minutes, which was a huge plus. The car itself was almost brand new and in excellent condition. Everything went smoothly from start to finish, and the whole experience was efficient and hassle-free.

Additionally, the deposit was returned within one hour after returning the car, which was a very pleasant surprise.

I would definitely recommend this company and will happily use their services again.

Toronto Airport location horrible…

Toronto Airport location horrible service 3 times tried to get me to cancel my cheap booking only to be stuck with extra fees. It is run by dishonest and rude staff that lure people with low prices only to scam them by add ons. Never will I rent from these guys again I will be suing them for extra costs that I never asked for.

STAY AWAY THIS COMPANY IS NOTHING BUT RED FLAGS

I booked through Priceline (first mistake) a car from this scummy place (second mistake), I prepaid everything through Priceline, daily rate, taxes and fees.
The day I came to pick up the car, the lady at the counter told me I absolutely could not waive the liability coverage, by the way I waived everything because I have insurance of my own and coverage through my credit car in case of an accident . But she said I could not waive that at all. And I ask how much is it? She said just 20 bucks. I said ok I guess if it is only 20 bucks that’s fine. She made me fill out all these forms about me accepting responsibility and all, so I did.
Then when I came to return it I see a charge in my credit card for $300.
And I disputed it because I had already prepaid the car, turns out the people from this place have my signature all over the place. So I’m out of $300 because turns out it was 25$ a day. A DAAAY!! And I have no case because I was misled and did sign everything.
Please be careful with this company, my first time using them. I always use enterprise but then I saw how good the prices were, oh boy you are wrong. You WILL spend more than at your reputable car rental.
PLEASE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AND RECORD EVERY INTERACTION IF YOU DECIDE TO GO WITH THIS COMPANY. RECORD EVERYTHING.
Had I recorded the interaction with the lady I could’ve gotten my money back, because she made me purchase an optional add-on and didn’t disclose the full amount before charging my card. But they absolutely know what they are doing. Their employees are on it as well.

Shady/Sketchy/Dirty

This place is the shadiest, sketchiest rental car location that I have ever been to in my life. It was booked by our company travel agency who did not make me aware that this location was not at the airport, that my company was not covering the insurance, or what I would need to do to get there once I got to the airport. When I finally arrived at the location, it is filthy and they are very slow to help you as the customer. After flying across the country and spending over an hour trying to figure out how to get to this place, when we finally arrive on site, it took an hour or more to get the rental. Since they forced me to use my own personal insurance, I was not certain of company policy for this, so I explained that I should likely cancel and the man helping would not have it. I told him, well i might have to bring the car back later today and he ignored me. When I did have to return it, they refused to refund me for the additional days we had reserved it for and claimed that they explain the no refund policy which they did not. When I mentioned that I would most likely have to return it, he could have mentioned it then, but never said a word. In addition, I went over the "contract' on the back of the receipt and there is nothing that states anything about this so called "no refund policy". Absolutely horrible experience. If you are reading good reviews, they are most likely fabricated. Don't go here if you don't want to get scammed and if you don't enjoy waiting for a long time for a car that is not clean or well taken care of.

Fraud! Please do not rent a car from ACE Gdansk

Please, do not use this company for renting a car. They are liars!!! if you already book via them, lets make a detailed photo/ video of every single scratch before you leave. As they always try to claim small scratches as something what you do to get money. This is exactly what happened to us in Gdansk, they make a claim for something what was already on a car. They had photos from 1,5 m and scratches are not on photos because of distance and you can not declare that it was there before you rent a car. I made video but they claim from us little scratch which was not to see from 50 cm with eyes also my video was not enough. They are liars and they make it very often to people. Please be careful.
