Stay away!

There were many fees that were not disclosed by the merchant using this service and no resolution was provided from either the leasing service or merchant. I paid taxes to the merchant and on each payment. I paid a purchasing fee at the start and end of the lease. It was sold as a same as cash service and it was definitely not that.

Terrible communication

Terrible communication. They had the nerve to send this email to ask for a review, but I’ve never even gotten anything indicating that I completely paid off my purchase they’re weird and I do not like thatI was not informed about the early buy out fee if I paid off my purchase within the 90 days. If I would’ve known that, I would’ve just bought the chair out right a month later. I mean, I get it that you have to make money, but I don’t like feeling tricked. Won’t be using this company again.

This was a total scam

This was a total scam. I bought a tire that cost me $155. They told me that if I paid within three months, I wouldn't pay any interest. A month later, when I went to pay, I had to pay double what I owed, and to top it all off, they added an account that isn't mine. Don't fall for this; it's a complete rip-off.

Im being buying my stuff with you guys for like 8 yrs already, this past time I call y'all and ask for 1 week extension i would pay like $150 extra for that week, wich is good, and then i call to pay it off and yall said that not was gonna be possible cause my due date was past for 1 day

I went to Bob's on Bell

I went to Bob's on Bell . I was looking for a better mattress for my bed . I wasn't approached by a sales person , I looked for one once I made a decision . The paperwork was smooth and easy to do . I was given an amount from Acima for my purchase and had more for a later purchase . They did not pressure me , that is what makes me go back . I paid off one of my purchases already . Once I pay off my mattress . I will look for a new love seat for my living room . 100 Percent amazing reps

My Review of Acima

I like the idea of being able to pay for my furniture in the first three months before it would turn into monthly leasing. I did not like how when I was paying monthly I was still being charged more money than what the amount said. For instance the amount would read $220.00 but I would end up paying $250.00 and of course when I called about it I was told something that was not explained to me from the beginning. This company can improve by making sure that people have a clear understanding about the total amount that should be paid in all when you do the early payout. Other than that I would consider using this company again, and I would recommend this company to others.

This company is a complete rip-off

This company is a complete rip-off. I bought a bed and sofa for $1700. If I had waited past the 100-day no-interest period, they would have charged me over $5000 for my purchase. It’s unacceptable to take advantage of hardworking people. I will never use this service again.

Unbelievable high interest rate had…

Unbelievable high interest rate had paid over 580 dollars of payment I was short 30 bucks to complete the prior 3 month payments before interest off by a day and they ended up accumulating interest on the full cost of the item vs the remaining balance so I paid over 380 dollars more in interest .Unbelievable

I liked the funding part for what you…

I liked the funding part for what you want, but just know if you don’t pay it off early they are going to tax you and the interest is high so you’re going to be paying triple. My best advice is paying it off early and when you do just know you have to pay extra to pay it off early so I wouldn’t advise using them lols. First and last time.

At first this service was amazing but a month in and the app doesn't work for payment neither does the website and if you pay by phone it also doesn't work so they are setting customers up to rip them off so no one can pay things off early.

Disappointed customer from furniture purchase

We purchased our furniture on a Monday, we had to apply for the Acima leasing. The first problem was, I don’t think the Sales Rep that ran what ever he had to do to check for the loan amount did it correctly. Because we were only approved for a very little amount, and he used the wrong information to check for the loan amount. He simply assumed that since additional information was set up under my name that the loan would also be under name. That simply was not the case, since once we received the contract from Acima we were going to pay it off. Even though eventually anything was ok when we left. The second problem was after the furniture was delivered on Friday, we had to refuse a piece because it didn’t fit, which I am sure this type of thing happens all the time. We were told that our contract would be corrected, on that Friday. It did not get corrected until the Thursday after the furniture was delivered. And that was only because we had to go to the store on Sunday after the furniture was delivered, and also call the store on that Wednesday. Someone from bobs and from Acima seriously dropped the ball big time on this matter. The contract was only made available after we spoke to a Mgr on Thursday. Not to mention the Sales Rep claims he tried to call my husband several times and was not able to get through to him, but the mgr had no problem getting through to speak to us on Thursday. Once the contract was made available to us I paid it off, immediately, not knowing that we would be charged tax on the 10% fee that your company charges to have the loan for a week, and for your company to not even apologize for the inconvenience and the sore taste this has now left us. even through it was more than I expected and it was made available for us to pay off the loan. A little disappointed that you tax the 10% charge that you billed me for. You should have wrote that 10% off since we had so many problems with this. This left a very very sore taste in my mouth from the service we received when applying for the lease to the times that we had to stop in the store and call because someone between Acima or Bob’s dropped the ball big time and we had to suffer as customers. We since then paid on the loan in full and will not be using your service again

I have a lease agreement with acima I…

I have a lease agreement with acima I have a balance of 1400.00 and they said I can't use it I have to open a new account or pay the balance even though I only used 1200.00 out of 3200.00 I was approved for. I don't recommend acima to anyone they are a bunch of crooks.
