Terrible customer service

Terrible customer service. Order a saw kit and my card didn’t go through. Customer service advised that I had to be the one to call in and reorder the item because according to them “for security purposes my card is not on file”. I had changed my mind about buying it so I decided not to buy it. They then charged my card without consulting with me. if my card is not on file why did i get chsrged? I tried to cancel the order as the status said that the shipping facility was waiting on the item. But they told me it was already shipped. When I got the saw kit it was missing items that their website said it came with. I scheduled a return and had to pay for shipping which they now do not want to reimburse me for because its not in their so called policy. it wasn't my fault the order was placed without my-being consulted with even tho they said my card was not on file. I guess that was a lie!

Never got what I ordered

Never got what I ordered for Black Friday. If they couldn't fulfill orders they shouldn't try to sell things. They drug it out for a month with the worst customer service and no amswers ever, so now I'm stuck with no gift for my husband. I'll never trust this store again. I wish I could rate them a zero, because that's what they are.

Bad service, bad site, not sure if I'll even get what I bought

I ordered a circular saw 18 days ago and Acme won't give me any tracking or other information about when I'll get it. Or if I'll get it. Their site doesn't connect my user to my orders so to look it up I have to find the original PO to get the order number to plug into search. And when I do, nothing comes up! If I knew when I ordered my saw that it would take 30-45 days to receive it, I would have paid $10 more and bought it from Lowes. I'll never buy from Acme again.

ONE AND DONE

Placed order for all in stock items on 11-27-2023 and as of today, 12-12-2023 I'm still missing 2 items, first items shipped after 2 weeks with no communication of what was going on. I will stick with Home Depot, Lowe's, Amazon, etc. just so much easier to deal with. This was a one and done!

Customer service is horrible, shipping is a joke.

I rarely if ever post reviews. Customer service is horrible. It took them 12 days to ship a simple order of items that on their website says "in stock". Email them and you'll get a cut and paste response. There are multiple websites and bigbox stores with the same prices and products to buy from. I wish I had read the reviews before doing business with them.

Called customer service to try and get a shipping date

Called customer service to try and get a shipping date, purchase was through amazon,, so I wrote them a note the reply was soon. I tried to actually call them and their customer service rep was absolutely useless. Told me that Amazon was where I had to go. No help at all.

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. For one, if you use PayPal, you know you are supposed to be able to review order once leaving your PayPal wallet, they force orders through instantly. They use confusing terms for promotions. They stated that could get 120.00 off for purchasing Milwaukee load out items but after purchase they only qualified add ons to the portable storage. I immediately contacted them and PayPal and asked not to ship yet they shipped it anyway. Now I have to wait to get it to return it for a refund. They only shipped addons and not the portable storage. They charged me for all items. The email was politically correct and polite but did not address issues. Okay, I think you get a good picture of what to look out for. Other than that they usually have fast shipping and good pricing.

I wish there were negative stars

I wish there were negative stars. This has been the worst customer experience ever. Our company will never do business with them again and tell other to stay away!
Never received my order of $800+ of tools. Acme Tools took my money and never delivered on the products. After multiple calls, they told me I would need to contact local authorities and call my bank and cancel charges. They use FedEx for delivery, and they tell me that one package was not delivered and the other was delivered to wrong address and that person who received it has called for package be picked-up.
Acme Tools still states, " it is our policy not to get in volved and I should call authorities and my bank.". I told Acme that FedEx told me "To have Acme file a claim and I would get my package or should be reimbursed" Acme repeated the earlier statement and "this is our company policy and agreement with FedEx" have a good day.
This is after 2weeks waiting on package and making multiple call, wasting hours of my day; NO DISCOUNT IS WORTH the problems.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE AND COMPANY…

THIS IS THE WORST COMPANY I HAVE EVER SEEN AND TALKED WITH I PLACED AN ORDER VIA PAY PAL VIA THEM IN PERSON OVER THE PHONE BUT NEVER GOT COMMUNICATION BACK REGARDING THEIR SECURITY NOT APPROVED OUR AMEX NOR MY CHECKING NOR MY CHASE ACCOUNT AND OUR FUNDS WERE THERE TO BE ACCEPTED NOR THEY TOLD US ABOUT THE DENIEL; THEIR EXCUSE TODAY WAS I AM SORRY BECAUSE WE LIVE IN LOS ANGELES AND THIS DELIVERY WAS GOING TO NORTHERN CA I FOUND OUT TODAY THAT THEY DENIED THIS CUSTOMER SERVICE ARE BIG TIME LYERS; BIG TIME UNPROFFESSIONAL AND RUDE I DO NOT RECOMMEND THEM

I ordered an Ego power head with edger…

I ordered an Ego power head with edger attachment bundle that also included a string trimmer attachment. Although the trimmer was in my cart when I checked out, it didn't show up on the order invoice. They refused to send me the string trimmer attachment & pretended like they never had that bundle available on their website, even tho I sent them proof that showed people discussing that specific bundle on their specific website. They're either incompetent or dishonest (or both!). Don't trust them!!

I just purchased a Rikon 70-3040 Lathe…

I just purchased a Rikon 70-3040 Lathe from Acme Tools. Their price was almost $500 less than any other supplier I could find. I was nervous about doing business with them after reading the reviews. However, working with them was a wonderful, if at times confusing experience. They quoted a cost and expected delivery time. They met all of these promises. I was contacted right after the purchase by a representative (a real person) via text message offering any help I might have. The only issue I ran into was when I checked my order it said "back ordered." It seems that if the item purchases from Acme Tools is drop shipped from elsewhere, the system marks it as back ordered until shipped. A call to support quickly resolved this issue. Acme tools needs to fix this! All in all I would order from them again. Support was excellent and they met all of their commitments to me. It arrived on time and in excellent condition.

Update: About 2 weeks after receiving my lathe, Acme dropped the price by $500. I contacted them and they refunded the $500 difference. Easy as a call to customer support.

I experienced the worse job interview…

I experienced the worse job interview by phone ever. The interviewer intentionally insulted me multiple times leaving me speechless. I seriously didn't know how to respond to the hiring manager's insults. I would never apply for a job with this company let alone buy from them.

Honest company with fast shipping

Honest company with fast shipping. Product was as described but I purchased the wrong items and the return process is awesome. I don't know why they have bad reviews it must be a mix up with acmeshoponline.com which I believe is not owned by the same people. Make sure your buying from acmetools.com

They take no responsibility should…

They take no responsibility should something go wrong in the delivery, even if their own negligence caused it. Maybe they are a better store than an online store, but my package got stolen because they failed to let me know when the item had shipped.

Quick shipping and Great Price

I found an awesome deal on a product that was over $100 dollars more on every other site and local shop, and included free shipping. I read a lot of not great reviews on here, and I'm sure that some people do have bad experiences, but I think there's a tendency for people to only leave comments on sites like this when they have a bad experience, and since mine was so great, I feel it's important for people to know I think it must be the minority.
The item arrived just as described, brand new in box, and the shipping was super fast. Again, things might have turned out different if it was back ordered or there were issues along the way that meant I had to contact customer support, but as it is, it was a great experience.
