We contracted with Aconsumer Credit in…

We contracted with Aconsumer Credit in September 2016 to get out of our Westgate Timeshare. I did receive responses back from Devin Andrews acknowledging receipt of documentation we sent with an explanation that the cancellation process takes time. We received a Notice of Intent to foreclosure and got the same explanation from Devin Andrews, its part of the process of cancellation and just wait. Now we received a Certificate of Sale for a non-judicial foreclosure proceeding where Westgate bought their own property back for $100.00. I emailed Aconsumer Credit and find out they have filed Chapter 11 Bankruptcy. What do we do now? Anyone have any suggestions?

I wished that you could leave 0 stars…

I wished that you could leave 0 stars because they do not even deserve 1 star. I lost my job, and could not pay the timeshare mortgage, and fees, and gave them my last 2500.00 to try to get me out of the timeshare. I cannot believe that someone could be so ruthless, and take advantage of vulnerable people at such a vulnerable time. These people should be in jail. I paid them in full in Jan 2018, and have gotten nothing but empty excuses, when you can get in touch with them, since then. I really need my money back, but don't know where to go from here because I dont want to be scammed again. I was violated pretty bad by the timeshare company, but totally violated by this company. This is a disgrace!

SCAMMED - FILED FOR BANKRUPTCY

Well folks, I too gave this company $2,400.00 and never got a return phone call. Hate to admit it, but I think we've all been scammed. I learned today that the company has filed bankruptcy. I called the lawyer that 'represents' them and guess what? That's right. He is no longer representing them. I'd appreciate it if anyone knows and can share what, if any recourse we have from here.

bad company

This company, ACONSUMERCREDIT has recently filed bankruptcy under Ch 11. I called a number listed on the business alert and it is them. However, the attorney has left, the contact people left and this person I spoke with wanted $800 now to finalize my case. When I said "no", this was not part of the original contract, he hung up. This is a bad company.

Same issue as everyone else

Same issue as everyone else. I call and get nothing but an answering machine. All emails I send they bounce back. Not sure what to do at this point, but im assuming my money is gone!!! Aconsumercredit does not do what they say they will do. Any update would be great, other than these things take time.

I am having the same issues described by others. I hired this company about a year ago. When I called this summer, I was given August 17 as a settlement date. I have called, e-mailed and no response. I am in panic mode at this point and just so disgusted

How do we join a class action lawsuit…

How do we join a class action lawsuit against them? I have attempted several ways to communicate with no results. No phones, no emails, certified letters. I can't believe I was taken advantage of (as hundreds of others). We must fight back and at least get a refund. The people who work for them must not have a heart or care about human beings. HELP!! Please help!

Scam! Don't trust A consumer credit.

Don't trust A consumer credit

I signed up with them in February 2017 to get out of the timeshare with Westgates which i signed in December 2016. I paid them $2200 and they told that they will get me out of timeshare within a year or else they will refund my money. But it is been 18 months now, nothing happened so far. They never update the status and when i try to call them it always go to voice mail and still after leaving multiple voice message, they never return the calls. Now the past week it says that the mail box is full and we can't even leave voice message. Tried to email them today and it bounce back saying that the email id is inactive, Jennifer carter was the leagal aid who worked with me and in September 2017 Devin Andrews emailed me a copy of document saying that that is the final paper work for us to sign. But now it is already one year after signing the final paper work and so far no updates. I'm really disappointed with their service and will ask everyone to stay away from them.

Horrible experience ruined my credit

Horrible experience ruined my credit . I’m an active duty service member who was going through a rough divorce and couldn’t afford the timeshare my ex and I purchased together. A consumer credit sounded like a dream come true, but as time went on and $2,385 later it turned into a nightmare. It was difficult to contact them, when I would get a hold of them they would claim it takes time and I had more documentation to sign so they could send it. I was not released from my account but placed into collections and a charge off. They finally called me today from a number I never saw before the man insisted I needed to pay an additional $750 just to access documents related to my account. There is no way to fix my credit now so I am stuck with a horrible score as I get ready to go to seminary and will need student loans that I may not be able to get. They lie and tell you not to contact the resort. The only paperwork my resort received was the cease and desist consumer credit had me sign nothing else. I plan to report this company to as many trade commissions review sites an beureas that I can so hopefully no one else goes through this.

Aconsumercredit LLC is a scam

Aconsumercredit LLC is a scam. A year and half ago I paid them big bucks and signed lots of legal documents for them to get me out of a time share. They said these things take time and to send them any correspondence received from Time Share. This is I did. No matter what I said in the letter it was always the same form letter stating we are reviewing your file, thanks for the submission. Same in January, same in August. Meanwhile Diamond Resorts reports that my ownership has never been closed. They have never heard of AConsumercredit, and i had to pay a hefty maintenance fee. Now one can transition out of timeshare with Diamonds resort - i think.

Bad company, Bad attorney...Do NOT hire them!

They have been rated an "F" company with the Better Business Bureau, I have had to report the attorney to the Florida Bar Association. Stay away, do not use them, they did not deliver what they promised! Have refused to refund money!

This place is a scam

This place is a scam. Don't waste your money. My wife and I paid them to rid our credit report of a predatory lending scam, and they have done NOTHING in two years! No resolution, no credit protection, nothing!!!!! When you try to call for updates they tell you it's a waiting game, these things take time. Our written guarantee from them states they will provide services to protect your credit report. Note didn't do that for 24+ months either. Read the fine print. They will scam you out of your money just like the TimeShare business!!!!!

Almost 2 years...nothing…won’t return my calls

I am in the same position as some of these folks. I paid my fee and it’s been over 18 months....the guy I worked with Devin Andrews...doesn’t return my calls or emails. I’ve called the customer service line and have left messages. Not even a “live” person to answer the phone. I guess the next step is to contact the BBB.
