Excellent service, product, and super fast shipping

I called my realtor's assistant for advice on how to soundproof my bedroom and he recommended your product. He had added the acoustic panels in his office and liked them. But what I hadn't considered is the difference between sound absorption and soundproofing. The former works fine for muffling external noise in the workplace, but I needed the latter to keep noise from getting in and out. Acoustimac has soundproofing items, but they're for industrial use only.

It's faster to mount the panels with z bars instead of clips, so I tried those, but I had problems due to inexperience. It'd be helpful if there was a section called 'z bars for novices'. There was one picture showing that they could be mounted on ceilings and walls, but no video. James sent me a Youtube one and I then saw my mistake. I had tried to do a wall mount without leaving a gap below the ceiling and was also unable to slide the panel in sideways. (The latter was my fault for miscalculating where the centers on the wall mounts and panels were by 3/8" each).

So, as expected, the noise from my neighbor's home in the bedroom is about the same and probably vice-versa. I have an 8 foot wall, so I tried hanging blankets. No luck with that either.

Updated to add that I called my contractor to upgrade the wall with soundproofed boards, drywall and rigid foam insulation. He advised doing this after looking at my room, so I mailed him a payment for 10% of the cost.

I did talk to your sales rep first (Justin), but I had my mind made up to get the recommended acoustic panels, so I don't recall him asking me what purpose or room they were for.

Helpful in determining appropriate quantities and coverage, and flexible when we needed to modify the order for sizing.

I would recommend this company. James was very helpful in helping be determine what type and how many panels I needed. I am an audiologist and test individuals hearing every day. We also work with patients in fitting hearing instruments. When I moved to a new location with beautiful open spaces and 11 foot ceilings, the reverberation was unacceptable. Considering we work with individuals with hearing loss, our acoustic environment is very important.We have not completed the installation of all the rooms yet, but the reduction in reverberation was immediate. I was very pleased with the professional manner of the company and the persons I spoke with. I am so please with the results I will be installing panels in my additional practices.

Shipping was fast. Customer service was amazing and the panels I ordered are beautiful. Just an overall easy and satisfying experience.

Our meeting room is a hard surface 18 foot cube. They suggested 22 panels. After putting up 15 it was good visually and sound wise. Amazing how much echo and sound these absorb. That left a few panels for others rooms. Well made product with an easy hanging system. Would order again. Recommend instead of expensive drop ceiling option.

I received my panels quickly and they are really built well. I was so impressed by the acoustic panels that I ordered 24 panels. My sound room once finished will be professional grade and look awesome. The staff was pleasant to work with and they processed my order with quick turn around time. I will highly recommend Acoustimac if you are serious about having sound panels that are well built and looks great!
