While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Active Life helps people who are stuck in the gap between healthcare and fitness. They’ve finished physical therapy but still hurt. They’ve been told to “just stop” doing what they love. Their pain keeps coming back, and nobody has given them a plan. We do this in two ways. First, we train fitness professionals to become Active Life Professionals (AL-Ps). The AL-P program takes students an average of 12-24 months to complete and consists of education and mentorship covering biomechanics, assessment, exercise programming, orthopedic considerations, and how to work alongside healthcare providers. It also includes the business systems coaches need to build a sustainable career doing 1:1 work. Coaches can start with our 2-Day Assessment Workshop or apply directly to the full program. Today there are more than 500 AL-Ps and Candidates working in 13 countries. Anyone looking for help can find one near them, or online, through our Find a Pro map. Second, we run two Active Life locations on Long Island, in Long Beach and Port Washington, where our own team works directly with clients. Active Life was founded by Dr. Sean Pastuch, author of Live More. Hurt Less. Across our team and our professionals, we’ve helped more than 10,000 clients get back to the lives they want. We believe you have to live more to hurt less. The world needs more professionals who can make that happen. If you’ve been through one of our programs, we’d love to hear about your experience.

There aren’t enough words to describe…

There aren’t enough words to describe how valuable this education and mentorship has been to my life. I have built a secure, lucrative training business, traveled to another country to help develop other coaches, met locally famous people, and become an entirely new person as a result. I have learned how to coach humans and not just movement, and solve problems that no one else could. Worth every penny and then some.
