I love all that this app can do, but I find the back end really confusing every time I try to do things. It's not intuitive and things are buried in weird places. I wish there was a way to give feedba... See more

Excellent tool for yoga and wellness
I use Acuity for my yoga and wellness business and it’s been seamless. Can highly rate my user experience.
Clients love booking anytime
Clients love booking anytime, anywhere. It’s easy to use for myself and others!
Took me a bit how to figure out how to control times I wanted to book. Been using about 6 months and I’m very happy. Wish I was paying less per month but it’s reasonable for what I use it for.
A lot of problems with features
A lot of problems with features. Customer support are not helpful.
I have been using Acuity for my Mobile Massage Business
I have been using Acuity for my business for 4 years now, & have had. smooth experience the entire time.
Best on the market, but needs some tweaks
Scheduling for both me and my clients is straightforward. I like that I can choose to accept payments online or offline. I am particularly impressed by the calendar view; it syncs well with gCal, I can easily change and add appointments, and block off time.
I do wish I could create an invoice by selecting appointments rather than having to manually do each one. Also batch rescheduling is limited to only 30 min increments from the original appointment time; if I wanted to change a 3:15 Tues appointment to a 2:30 Wed appointment, there is no option to do it at one time. I can only change the 3:15 to hours with :15 or :45 at the end.
It's the bets scheduling software I've found thus far, but I'm hoping for more improvements going forward!
Very slow responses
Very slow responses. I am extremely busy so when I am working on Acuity or Zoom or Kajabi or all the other programs I use I need quick responses because I need to move on. By the time I get a response I've gotten into something else and then I have to go review what I was doing which takes extra time and I end up leaving it because I don't have that extra time. I'm also disappointed in all the limitations of Acuity. I would think since it's been around a long time and is supposed to be for professionals you would be able to do things with it. For example, I have two people on my account and have to send Zoom links manually for one of them because Acuity doesn't allow for two separate Zoom accounts. I was told the two people could share one Zoom. I've said this before, how on earth would multiple people in one business use only one Zoom account, especially if they are all doing a lot of Zoom meetings. Which is very common these days. Then being unable to remove a direct link to my schedule that someone has by simply removing it instead of having to remove the items and re-enter them. I am disappointed I spent the money to have someone transfer all my clients from Practice Better to Acuity because I had heard good things about Acuity and thought Acuity would be better.
Scheduler double books.
Scheduling software is no longer working. Three weeks no help. Scheduler is not syncing correctly. I have been emailing regarding this issue for 3 weeks. No help. I have asked to call me. NO reply. I have asked for assistance no reply. I have asked to have my case escalated no reply.
God they drive me insane
God they drive me insane - when I FIRST started using them back in 2016 they were really good, I don't know whats happened but they are useless now, I'm about to move to a whole new calendar system which is no mean feat with my business but anything other than having to deal with the endless useless different person each time never being able to resolve the issue that has been going on for 3 months now, signing off with cutesy fake marketing slogans 'live, laugh, love' whilst completely failing to remedy the issue with syncing with google calendar. Can't wait to work with a diary system that actually works.
Clients often complain they can’t find…
Clients often complain they can’t find their booked classes on their account. No alert when clients double book themselves. No waitlist feature. Business app is glitchy and slow to refresh.
BEWARE SPAM EMAILS
I have not used the program. I never heard of it until I received a suspicious email today & searched the company it came from.
The email was sent to my inbox via the Acuity Scheduling App. It is asking me to click a link t0 Download Files Regarding a Case Filed Against Me on 3/13".
As there is No Specific Information regarding What the Case is In Regards To, (just a Case Number & a Highlighted Warning Message stating that Failure to Inspect the Documents Could Result in Adverse Consequences, in an attempt to scare me into clicking the link & downloading whatever is attached); I Am Not Clicking Anything, as I assume it's SPAM. I am leaving this review as it seems the best way to inform users to beware.
I tried using Acuity Scheduling for a year.
I tried using Acuity Scheduling for my service business and unfortunately it wasn’t a great fit.
The scheduling system feels much more suited to a retail-style booking setup rather than a service-based business that needs flexibility with travel time, service areas, and route efficiency.
I also found the platform difficult to navigate. Many features weren’t very intuitive, and simple adjustments often required digging through multiple settings.
When I tried to get assistance, the support experience was frustrating and slow, which made resolving issues much harder than it should have been.
It may work well for some businesses, but for service-based operations it didn’t meet my expectations.
I didn't think this was for a public-facing review
Overall, I like Acuity very much. The UI is mostly intuitive and I like the features it makes available, especially for scheduling and receiving payment for online language courses.
One suggestion I have is to introduce automatic price changes for late enrollment. For example, only making one entry for a course/service, but having the price automatically change to something higher after a certain date.
Used to be better. Not as good as it was
It used to be that when a class was 100% booked it would disappear from the website. Suddenly approximately two years ago that feature disappeared. Now when a class is full I have to manually go online and remove it. I cannot do that immediately so there are classes online that look available and are not. It is time consuming for me. It's frustrating for clients trying to book full classes that look available and they cannot. So I also have to deal with that customer frustration which reflects poorly on me as a business owner. When I brought this to Accuity's attention I was blown off as "too bad" and was not made to feel like Accuity would make it a priority or even make any effort to restore this feature.
So much I love!
I love the automatic scheduling reminders, confirmation emails and zoom links. I even love the feature where you can schedule automatic gaps for travel time or turnover time between clients. I just wish the text reminder had an option to link a cancel/reschedule button as the email feature does. It makes it harder to encourage my clients to reschedule/cancel themselves as opposed to having to text me about it.
Great booking tool for a yoga business
Great booking tool for a yoga business, clear, intuitive booking and useful to combine yoga classes presencial and online.
Needs some love
A more straightforward dashboard upon login would be great. The mobile version versus the desktop version is a little clunkier. Some of the navigation is simply missing altogether.
Functionality wise, a lot is unclear from the client and the backend perspectives.
I like how it syncs with my calendar
I like how it syncs with my calendar. Using the backend from mobile is a bit more of a clunky experience but the new mobile app seems to improve this.
Great system to use & track
The ease of use of this system has helped me schedule and track clients easily and effectively! I love the text reminder….just wish we could do 24-28hrs ahead of time (23hrs now). I have a 24hr cancellation deadline and I’ve gotten feedback from a couple of clients they wished the text was before my deadline. Personally I think 2days is too far ahead.
Time saver
Using Acuity has made my business run much more smoothly and my clients love that they can book/reschedule and cancel appointments with ease. I love that I have fewer emails to manage!
