Nicola has been tutoring our 9 year old daughter who was recently diagnosed with Dyslexia. Nicola has been instrumental in helping create a tool box for her, whilst boosting her confidence. Nicola is constantly encouraging her, and always super up beat, providing helpful and relatable materials for our daughter during each session. Our daughter comes out of each session with Nicola beaming. Cant recommend Nicola highly enough!

Nicola is really lovely offering support to my daughter in a non-pressurised way tailored to her needs. She is always friendly and approachable and deals with any queries from myself as the parent very quickly and effectively.

We started tuition with Nicola after my son was found to have dyslexia to give him a bit of extra support. She has been wonderful, breaking everything down for him, and explaining everything so well, supporting him and giving him so much confidence in himself. His spelling and writing has improved so much with the extra support, and we are continuing next year 🙂

Nicola has been an absolute gem tutoring our 9 year old who has Dyslexia. He literally loves the sessions and looks forward to the time together.
Nicola has a very natural and engaging way and makes the sessions fun & enjoyable.

Nicola has been tutoring my two sons since September 2023. They both have diagnoses of ASD as well as Dyslexia and Dysgraphia. The way that Nicola teaches is perfect for the boys, building their confidence, knowledge and understanding at a speed suitable to them. Her sessions are bespoke to individuals taking into account their interests, needs and personalities. For example my 9 year old initially would not interact at all with the sessions. Nicola began to build up a relationship by incorporating his ‘special interest’ of space and planets into his sessions. He is now doing a full half hour. Nicola set up a tick box system with short easy tasks so he knew how much he needed to complete. She gradually built up the task as my son’s confidence increased. He is still non verbal but the fact he know completes the tasks with a smile is immense and a credit to Nicola. She makes the sessions fun, accessible and achievable. I would 100% recommend Nicola!

Nicola is so approachable and down to earth. She doesn’t baffle parents with “jargon” she explains everything in a clear and simple manner so parents who are already feeling overwhelmed can actually see a way through.
Her knowledge of dyslexia is amazing and whatever you throw at her Nicola can help find the solution. Nicola can think outside the box and her kind, gentle and positive manner will put the most anxious, shy or withdrawn children at ease in no time.
The difference with Nicola is that she genuinely cares. She genuinely wants the best for each and every one of her students.
I cannot recommend her enough. You won’t regret using Ecweducation.

My son found his lessons with Nicola to be fun and engaging. Nicola designed her lessons so that he was learning without feeling like he was being made to work too hard! He appreciated her patient manner.
