Extremely satisfied customer
I had an excellent experience with Adam Partridge Auctioneers from our first meeting right through to receiving funds for my items. The staff were extremely helpful and their expertise was gratefully received. I will definitely be using them again and have recommended them tp friends and family. Thank you very much.

We had excellent service from Adam Partridge from initial meeting in Garstang,to the eventual auction and receiving the money that our items fetched.
They were very helpful and professional throughout the whole process
Appalling attitude
Appalling attitude. Apparently now requires separate proof of identity when buying - even when buying through the Saleroom.com where they have already confirmed identity and hold debit card details. They won't actually tell you this of course, they just leave you hanging with 'Pending' on your bids. If you eventually query this with them they will send you a very patronising email that basically tells you to get lost if you don't like it. There are hundreds of more professional auction houses out there - so I would just leave this guy to the telly if I were you.

I had some items to sell and went to a valuation session at our local library and met Emmeline, who was very friendly and helpful. I received an e-mail informing me when my items would be auctioned and given the lot numbers and a link to the auction, so that my daughter and I could watch it live. It was very interesting and exciting and we were very pleased with the outcome. The amount of commission taken was quite reasonable and we received the balance about a month after the auction.
All in all, it was a very happy experience and I would have no hesitation in selling any other items with Adam Partridge in Liverpool.
Customer service is not a priority for…
Customer service is not a priority for this company. Why hold a pre-christmas auction over a week before Christmas, and then close the following day for a 17 day Christmas holiday making it impossible for purchasers to collect lots until the New Year despite customers having bought items as Christmas gifts - surely any reasonable company would keep their offices open until the 23rd of December for collections, or at least have highlighted on their website and auction listings that collection of items wasn't possible until the New Year. Similarly beware of the buyers premium, on the Adam Partridge website additional charges are listed as 30% on the listings, however there is an additional 2.4% charge for bidding through their website which isn't clearly identified. All told they're not a company that I'm impressed with having dealt with, and feel that they do not prioritise customer service.

Bureaucracy to gladden the heart of a…
Bureaucracy to gladden the heart of a French civil servant. All I wanted was a quote to pack and post two small items. They could have provided a tick box for this on the invoice. Instead I had to spend 3/4 of an hour trying to find a particular form and then lose patience because about the only thing they didn't require was my shoe size.
I have lost interest and they won't even offer them for resale because the items are too low value - why did you offer them in the first place.
UPDATE
As well as the response below the company has reached out to me by e-mail.
I am still of the opinion that their on line forms are too obscure and unnecessarily bureaucratic.
I note that someone has complained about the charges for postage and packaging. I can only comment that the charges made in this case were very much what I expected them to be before making my bid.

BRILLIANT
Adam Partridge Liverpool, all staff where great, understanding, helpful and at the end of the phone if there was something I was not sure of. They are a group of people who are painstaking in their efforts. Thankyou
Nice item but beware of postage costs
I am really delighted with my celtic ring I purchased as a wedding ring for my husband. It was my fist time buying and the process was simple and when I emailed with a question they were very helpful. However my only stipulation was the postage cost from the London Saleroom. They charged me £15 plus vat so £18 in total for a small ring. It came by RM special delivery and the price on the envelope was £8.75 so I definitely felt overcharged.

Adam Partridge Auctions Are Great!
The team at Adam Partridge are friendly, knowledgable and very helpful when itcomes to pre and post auction support. Great online and face-2-face customer service also.
They are flexible and adaptable to the customer (my needs), they are knowledgeable and provide great post-auction pickup for lots which I have won.
I have purchased from Macclefield, London and Liverpool this year - all professional and friendly. Thanks Team APA!

Enquiries were answered promptly and helpfully. The collection of items bought was made very easy.
If I have a question it is about using the website. While the items in the auction are detailed, they are very well set up, quickly too, for inspection. I do think the website could be more friendly, especially to such as myself who are not so computer savvy as some: finding how to setup my interest when I couldn’t attend the auction event in person was not easy.
Otherwise, a truly friendly and excellent professional service.

Adam Partridge Liverpool Saleroom have been excellent. Jack and Lauren helped me pack up my very small car to the rafters and my items arrived home safely. I’ve been to many other auctions around the country and it’s very rare to receive the top notch service I’ve experienced today.

I have received an excellent service from the Liverpool branch of Adam Partridge over the last 12 months. It has been professional, efficient and the staff I have had contact have been friendly and helpful. Emmeline, who initially came to give a probate valuation has been so helpful and supportive at a difficult time. Her professionalism, patience, flexibility and valuable advice when working with a third party is much appreciated.

Adam and his team have helped us so much
It was a delicate situation and the team managed it so well
They helped us to achieve a really good price for our items, particularly in relation to one item that we thought might not sell at all
Highly recommended

Requested valuations from them
Requested valuations from them, one article was a prized barometer, they said because of the mercury it lowered its value re export to £80
Went for a second valuation and this was far far higher and no problem with the mercury
They are either dishonest or very ignorant regards furniture, in their defence from their 2024 sales results , they don’t really sell furniture, just bits and pieces and their speciality seems to be guns and swords

Highly recommended!
The service and communication we received from Oliver Scott from the Liverpool branch of Adam Partridge was top notch. Oliver came out to view our items, provided positive and constructive comments on what would be of interest, and what wouldn’t. The team at the Liverpool were then very good at checking each individual piece and providing very accurate estimates.
Overall a top team and I would definitely recommend them.
Excellent Serv ice from Adam Partridge Auctioneers
I bidded on line for the maritime and militaria sale on 5 June, 2025.
I wish to commend the team on their conduct of the sale, which I watched via their on-line bidding platform. I was impressed by the speedy efficiency with which they issued my invoice, with postage added. Also that they were so agreeable to postpone despatch to me, due to personal circumstances. My experience was on a par with some of the big London medal auctioneers, and far better than what I and some other bidders experienced at a sale in another nearby auction house two weeks previously.
I shall certainly have no doubts about bidding, or consigning articles to Adam Partridge Auctioneers in the future.
