Avoid this company!

Adaptlife is one of the worst company I have ever dealt with.
First they completely bungled the delivery which was very delayed. I asked for a refund and they said it couldn’t be actioned while shipping. They wanted me to pay for a re- delivery when it was wrongly sent to a different address. By the time that the product arrived, the box, packaging and autoclave was damaged. They accepted no liability and offered no compensation. I even had to ask for my warranty details. I would never buy anything from them ever again.

Your order was dispatched and due to be delivered within our standard processing timeframe. The delivery complications that followed were unfortunately caused by UPS, not by us. After the courier contacted you directly and a redirection to a UPS Access Point was initiated, the parcel was routed to the wrong hub and ultimately returned to sender: all of which occurred within UPS's systems and outside of our control. We kept you informed throughout and made clear that once the redirection was processed, we were unable to intervene further.

Despite the delivery issue being a UPS error, we arranged and covered the cost of redelivery ourselves as a goodwill gesture, and the item was successfully delivered on 16 March.

Regarding the damage: this was reported to us 17 days after delivery, and we understand the item was not inspected upon arrival.

Despite the significant delay in reporting, we still pursued a damage claim with UPS on your behalf. Unfortunately, UPS were unable to process a claim that long after delivery. As an alternative, we provided you with details on how to get any damage repaired through local servicing, so the issue could still be resolved.

The warranty details were included with the product on a USB device packaged with the item. We'd encourage checking the packaging contents if this hasn't been located yet.

We always aim to do right by our customers, and in this case we believe we went above and beyond to resolve a situation that was largely outside of our control. If you'd like any additional support, please don't hesitate to contact us directly.

Not as easy to adjust as advertised

The company was very prompt at replying to my query. The item arrived timely and in good condition. The wheel appears quite robust which makes it heavier than other models that I have previously used. It seemed easy to adjust but it then turned out that my carers were having difficulties attaching and de-attaching the wheel from my wheelchair. Also, once attached, if the wheel rotates which happens when reversing, the wheel is then off the ground and one has to rotate manually to the desired position. So in balance, it has pros and cons compared to other models and I haven’t quite made up my mind about it.

Super fast service

Super fast service. Ordered Wednesday,received Saturday. Installed and used Sunday. Very pleased, works just as shown in the best demonstration of installing and use video of any bath lift I have ever seen. In fact it was watching this video that made me order from them 30 minutes after seeing it

Fantastic customer service

We purchased 2 Invacare Aquatec Ocean VIP Ergo chairs form Adaptlfe with various different bespoke builds a couple months ago, we had made a mistake in the order but the service team were very willing and helpful to adjust it even after checkout. Delivery was speedy. Customer service was top notch.

Quick inexpensive - excellent

I benefitted from the sale that Adaptlife had on which saved a significant amount of money - far cheaper than any competitor. Good arrived extremely quickly and well packaged. I will definitely use again.

Adapt Life 100% for service

Adapt Life mobility is so easy to contact by telephone & email. I first spoke on Monday morning regarding a Rollz motion rhythm rollator, after a few emails with particulars it was bought & delivered on Thursday giving the 100% for service.
The Rollz rhythm rollator is an exceptional rollator as the cues especially the green laser light helps my husband who has parkinsons & freezes in doorways, lifts & narrow spaces. A wheelchair attachment is available which is an added bonus.
We already have a Rollz rhythm rollator to use outside & this one is to use in the house.
Having 2 of these rollators the Rollz rhythm is certainly highly recommended.

Excellent service

Excellent service, staff went above and beyond to process an urgent order for an airflow mattress and it was delivered before even the earliest estimated date. My dad is suffering from a serious pressure sore and the mattress has already made a massive difference because the wound is finally starting to heal. Thank you to everyone involved.
