i wouldn't give 1-star because i'm long time customer, and bought many fishing gear from them. It's the best fly fishing shop in Europe, judging by extensive gear catalog, and often have seasonal discounts (you can buy branded rod/reel with 20-40% discount, if timing is right). That's a good side. Bad side is that customer support is super-slow to respond, and hard to reach, almost non-existent. I claimed a warranty case because new fly rod had a flaw, and cannot be used from first day. Instead of quick help (just allow me to send the faulty rod back to the shop, and exchange to another one), they playing "email football" with me, responding to emails once in 15 days or so, and suggesting other options which don't work. More than 4 weeks passed since purchase and problem not solved
Really good product for a very competitive price. They also included a very nice trout mouse pad as a gift. Came very quickly, and the product is exactly as promised. Only positive things to say.

Dear fly fishermen, please be very careful with this site, customer service does not exist basically, and if something goes wrong, you will be on your own!
I ordered a rod (plus a number of other items), a new Winston rod, a previous generation, which was on sale. After some time, I received an email that the rod had issues (the bottom cap was scratched a lot), and they offered me a bigger discount, as this was the only one they had in store. After some communication, I agreed and even ordered more items. And then they vanished, no communication whatsoever. I tried to call their phone, but every time there was no one to pick up, and the system advised me to send an email and hang up. I sent a few emails, no response.. Such a bizarre way to treat any customer. I did make a bank transfer for my order, I am hoping I will get my money back at least, after waiting for a month for the order to be shipped, even though they claimed they have everything in stock... We shall see...
I live in Canada and didn't know anything about this shop. I bought accessories for my Skotti BBQ and could not be happier. The shop has fair pricing including shipping, and have good communication. The transaction went smoothly and I cannot recommend them enough. Very positive experience.

Shocking customer service.
Beware, while they have a good product selection, if something goes wrong with your order, you will be in trouble!! I received two damaged products, and despite sending numerous emails, I keep getting ignored, except for one email that has explained nothing. I sent the two products back, but I've no idea what will happen next. If they will refund my money, send me replacements or continue to ignore me. I am just hoping something will happen at some stage...

****BUYER BEWARE****
I placed an order with adh-fishing recently and when the order finally arrived, two items were missing. I immediately contacted them by email and it was confirmed that even though the items were marked as in stock when ordered, they didn't actually have them in stock and could not send them out. They did not inform me of this until I had asked, after I had received the order.
That is not the worst part, I asked why they had not refunded me for the pieces they did not ship and their answer was that I would receive a refund "soon". When I asked when that would be I got no response... This has now been reported to Paypal and ADH have still not responded......
VERY VERY BAD SERVICE ADH-FISHING ......

hi giles! this is alex from adh-fishing. i saw your message on our fb page and talked to my colleagues in the office. your money will be refunded today. i‘m sorry that you had to wait so long for your refund. regarding the original issue: i can‘t tell you why it was possible to order/buy two articles that were not in stock. that never happens, especially with two items of the same brand. we have live stocks in our shop, that means „what you see is what we have“. everything works fully automatically. my colleagues will check how it was possible. nevertheless i want to apologize that it took so long to solve this problem. we try our best to handle problems as fast as possible usually. if there is anything i can do for you, please let me know. all the best and tight lines, alex

Hello Alex, I thought my little comments on ADH-fishing social media platforms, here, and other places (I wil let you find them....) may get a response from somebody in management.... I presume you are in management/own the company? You see, as I am sure you are well aware, social media works both ways. It gives the seller (in this case ADH-fishing) free advertising, but it also allows your customers to leave a little feedback now and then..... I have made several orders with your company recently and would have made one more (way bigger order) had your staff replied to my emails. I have just bout a Marc Petitjean Swiss Vice Master and all of the other accessories (value of more than 1000eu from your competition Ardent Fishing. Their service is way better than yours in terms of communication and shipping. The reason I ordered the two accessories for the vice from ADH was because Ardent were honest and told me they did not have them in stock and I would have to wait a while if they ordered them in, which they were more than happy to do. I would not have made the order with you if I had have been told when I place the order that you did not have those two items in stock. This has now left me in a situation.... The vice and all accessories are a 21st birthday present for my son, his party is tomorrow when I would have been presenting him everything. The fact that ADH did not inform me that the items were out of stock before shipping is bad... The fact that when the order arrived and only then did I see the items were missing, I had to email ADH to ask where they were was worse. The fact that when I asked why had I not been refunded for the missing items is worse again. The fact that when I asked when I would be refunded, I was told "soon" is shocking. The fact that when I asked again if it would be on that day I have had no response still really sums up what ADH and their staff really think of their customers... The fact that I have had to ask Paypal to set up a file case id#PP-D-125665286 on 08/09/2021 and ADH have not even had the courtesy to respond to that is beyond belief..... I should not have to waste my time and beg for my money back.....
