Well polished scam

I told them I was diagnosed with a disorder as a child. They said no and told me it was a different thing even though I don't have the symptoms for it. I asked for a refund and was told to do a re-evaluation. I did so and the same doctor just reworded their original form diagnosis, again not taking into account anything I detailed. I was again not given a refund and told tough luck.

In my opinion, this place is a scam. Their evaluations look to be very formulaic, to the point of not taking the patient's input into account. I was given no actual room to advocate for myself. They just want money.

They will not respond to medication refill requests and constantly wait until after your 90 days to then tell you that you need a new evaluation. I am absolutely appalled they can call themselves a legitimate business. I asked for a concession on the fees since it was a delay on their service and was just told no.

Where do I start? Ha!

Where do I start? They took my money quick, did the assessment quick, gave me my results quick. But when I had an issue or a problem or a question or any concern at all, they sent me through this stupid email process where they say they received my general help request and then it’s a bunch of email back-and-forth,not from them because they NEVER get back to you in a reasonable amount of time ,and when they do,nothing is actually done! they don’t treat you like you’re a patient! they don’t care! they don’t check in! you can’t contact your doctor! You can’t get any type of help on the telephone, nor can you get it online. The last several months of my life have been more complicated than they ever were before ADHD online. The only good thing that came out is that I actually found out that I have ADHD, but anything after that was a joke. I could not receive adequate help. I don’t know who they have answering the phones but the people don’t care nor do they get you any results. It’s a bunch of back-and-forth nonsense and they should be shut down. Clearly, there is something wrong with The entire process. I have sent so many emails to them that I lost count. I’ve even reached out to the head person supposedly in charge by email and he sent me an apology and said that they were not doing what they should and he apologized but they still never resolved anything. I paid for a visit and was given three months prescription, but was only able to fill one month and then was asking if I still had any refills and I still don’t know if I do because they never responded. All they did was send an email back saying that they received my general help request. What a joke. It started falling apart at the end of September and then there was a medication shortage, but they were doing nothing to help me. I had to do it all on my own and then when you find a pharmacy that has your medication and you let them know that you want them to transfer your prescription, they take well over 10 days to even get back to you, and by that time the pharmacy may not even have the medication again. I could go on and on about how unprofessional they were on the phone, I could go on and on about the fact that they took my money so fast but when I actually had a problem or question, they were nowhere to be found (all you hear is crickets chirping). I hope somebody reaches out to me to ask me about my experience, because I thoroughly feel that I was treated poorly and it’s not up to standards and it doesn’t compare to a doctor nor does it compare to an office visit, it’s them taking your money and then they don’t care when you actually need help, they just give you the big old run around. BTW, I still haven’t received an answer. I am done with ADHD online, and I hope that somebody contacts me about this entire terrible process, all I wanted from the start was to better myself! It turned into a nightmare

Beware!

If you live in CA do not go through them. I paid $200 to be seen for a prescription only to find out that there is a law in CA that says pharmacies cant fill the prescription if its telehealth. I tried 6 pharmacies. They advertise getting a prescription even though there is no way you can get meds with that prescription!

Great doctors, terrible customer service.

Diagnosis was thorough, and my doctor is kind and very knowledgeable, but the customer service is garbage. They do not respond to emails 90% of the time, the wait times are absurd, it seems like they have one person on staff taking ALL phone calls at a time. With so many major pharmacies refusing to fill Rx from online doctors, you'd think they would make it a priority to know WHERE their patients could get meds filled, but instead you get stuck calling around all of your town trying to find somewhere with meds in stock. If they would hire more people and be more efficient with the customer service, it would be a great online system of care. But as it works now, it's pretty impossible to use.

A good tool to start with.

A good tool to start with.
I suspected that I had ADHD for a while.
I decided to get tested.
The testing process is lengthy. It contains of a number of questioners, and an a test that looks like a little game where you have to keep focus on certain objects.
After you’re done your assessment will be reviewed by a clinical psychologist.
After the review you will get a result and a recommendation.
You can choose if you want to see their provider online or you can take that assessment to your doctor at your choice.
I decided to see a provider in my area (Chicago, IL) and after an interview and additional questions from my provider I started treatment.
Note that not every provider might take their assessment into consideration.
One of the local psychiatrists would still have go to a psychologist that THEY recommended and they would only consider their assessment.
However, I had no problem with my provider.
What could be better:
It took a week and a half to get the diagnosis. I wish it was faster. I wish I would do this assessment with the psychologist or at least have a consultation after my assessment.

What’s good: the process is fairly easy. As a former clinical psychologist I can attest that their assessment is appropriate. It’s not perfect, ADHD is one of the diagnosis that can be tricky to diagnose.

This service helped me to get the answers I need and address my ADHD.

Absolute garbage

Absolute garbage. Process of receiving a diagnosis is easy, but the customer support is absolutely worthless. I usually have to wait up to three weeks to receive a refill just because the customer support is completely incapable of doing their one and only job.

Read This Before the Negative Reviews

Disregard a lot of the poor reviews, ADHD online is very thorough in assessing for ADHD. Just like all appointments, you are assessed to rule out ADHD. Once completed, you will be provided a recommendation. It is up to you to pursue treatment options. If being medication, an initial medication regimen may be started but again, you need to pursue. It is very clear the refills will only occur once every 30 days and you must be seen again in 30 days then every 90 days to ensure the script is appropriate. May complaints regarding fees, all these fees can be turned into your insurance company and they provide the itemized bill at completion of the assessment (which they note 5 business days, mine took only 2). I think alot of poor reviews is not reading the process and reimbursement strategies that the company has set up, not looking through the turn around time, requesting scripts too early, etc. If you are wanting instantaneous results and medication management after the initial assessment, this is not for you. Overall, very positive experience with this company so far and the results provided.

Very Convenient

It was impossible for me to get an appointment with a doctor in my area to discuss ADHD diagnosis and treatment. This website made it easy to get assessed, diagnosed, and treated within a couple weeks. It can sometimes be tough to get an appointment, but my doctor has always been willing to "bridge" my prescription so I don't run out of my meds if I don't get an appointment before they're set run out. The doctor I work with is kind and has helped me a lot with the process of finding the medication and dose that work for me.

If you're looking for a personal touch and a lot of attention from a doctor, this may not be for you. However, if you're looking for convenience, this can't be beat.

I wish I would’ve read the horrible reviews…

I wish I would’ve read the reviews prior and understood better what they are testing. It’s only for adhd and not add. I have previously and my whole life always tested as having add. They send you your results and that’s it, a yes or no with a print out of all of your answers. There is no follow up or anyone you can talk to or ask questions included unless you want to pay another $200. Total waste of money, and anyone who has ADD prob won’t read their fine print. Total bull, and please be advised if you are considering using this test as it is a scam.

I’ve been waiting over a week for my prescription. I’m out of state for my dads funeral, which they have know over a week and offered to fill it out of state, but no response from their help desk. I also emailed two other people, my doctor has tried to help as well. No response, it’s ridiculous how they treat patients. Don’t use this company unless you want to wait weeks for prescriptions.

adhdonline.com is an absolute scam

adhdonline.com is an absolute scam.

They will have you take a "test" where you simply answer some questions (mostly multiple choice) and do 1 quick game. after which they charge you $150 and make you believe you will be evaluated by a DOCTOR.

instead, a "doctor" reviews your "test"...and determines whether you "have adhd" or not. you will never talk to a doctor, you will never be seen by anyone...... you will simply fill out a bs "test", and then they decide from that. how they can decide whether you have adhd based upon a multiple choice test is beyond my comprehension. i'm 39 years old and have been dealing with these issues for so long i've developed coping mechanism's, so how they could lump everyone into the same test/results....it's a joke. simply stated they are a scam and if you dispute the charge, they will claim that the fee you paid was for nothing more than a "test" and not an actual consultation and you will lose the dispute aswell.

Good to be diagnosed, bad for continuos treatment

Service overall is good to get diagnosed and started.

But if you want something more active treatment and contact doctor for help, as switching pharmacy to pick up prescription it needs to be done though ADHD online service. And that day during business hours they have nobody to handle customer service and it goes directly to voicemail.

I like my doctor who that keeps up with my progress, but, being told to contact a number if I have question or problems not working when I have a problem is a huge problem.

Highly Recommend

As with many folks with ADHD, I've been struggling with the recent Adderall shortage, and both the support team and my regular provider have gone above and beyond to help me navigate the situation. The customer service team is incredibly responsive and empathetic. My regular provider also really knows the ins and outs of ADHD, always takes her time with me, and has been so kind and helpful. I've been using this platform for almost a year, and only had one negative experience, which was with someone I saw when my regular provider was unavailable, but I don't believe this person is on the platform anymore.

From what I've heard about other telehealth options for ADHD, I feel like I REALLY lucked out finding ADHDonline and have and will continue to recommend it to fellow ADHD-havers.
