Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 417 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many people reported significant issues with customer service, describing it as unhelpful, unresponsive, and even misleading. Customers frequently faced problems with their orders, including items not arriving, being delayed, or incorrect products being delivered. The refund process was a major source of frustration, with many struggling to receive their money back or encountering outright refusal. Additionally, some products arrived with quality issues, such as damaged logos, peeling soles, or being unwearable. However, some customers also noted that the products themselves were of good quality and fit well, despite issues with the purchasing process. A few other people also felt that their customer service experience was positive, with some refunds and deliveries being handled efficiently.

Don't order from Adidas UK directly

Absolutely the worst online shopping experience and subsequent customer service I've experienced. Ordered items not in stock. No timeframes for restocking. Customer service agents lying about dispatch timeframes. Refunds not automatically make to payment method. I could go on and this is not just a single instance. The products are fine, just don't order direct from Adidas UK.

I bought shoes that were advertised as including two extra sets of laces - didn’t realise they were missing until after I wore them for the first time and saw on TikTok they should have cool spare laces. They refused to refund as the shoes had been worn once. Awful customer service, spoke to me like I was the problem when they didn’t deliver what I bought!!!!!!! Will never buy from them again.

In all my years easily the worst customer experience ever .By cheaping it out and using EVRI as their sender I as a 50 yr old male received a size 24 woman’s blouse instead of trainers .I have the postage proof it’s wrong I have the photos they accept what went on so what they want me to do is send back this random blouse to them at my own expense and they have helpfully loaded my “bag” with the trainers again so I can rebuy them .At first I found it comical then unfortunately had to tell them exactly what I thought of that idea .Will never ever in my life buy another Adidas product .

Shocking from the start

Ordered an item which was to be delivered 1/6/26 as per their website. It did not arrive, in contacting them they said it was out of stock and it would be the end of June for delivery. I had paid for the item and needed it before the end of June so cancelled the order. Received confirmation for cancellation stating 14 days for refund to appear in account, after 14 days no refund so raised with my bank who asked for adidas to provide a 23 digit ARN number, on requesting this from adidas they tell me it is 28 days for refund and that there is no ARN showing on my cancelled order. I now need to wait 72 hours for them to get this.
Very very poor service from such a large company.
If something isn’t in stock you should not be taking peoples money!

QA on their website is as good as their QA on their shoes

QA on their website is as good as the QA on the trainers they send out. For the website every day I'm in some weird Schrodinger logged in state, where I'm logged in but I'm not, I can see orders, but if I go any further it asks me to login. That's when the login spinner spins forever. I have to open the devtools, clear cookies, and then sign in. Every. Single. Day. Next come the shoes, my daughter REALLY wanted the Campus 00s Led Lights Comfort Closure Elastic Lace Shoes Kids in pink, so I ordered one pair and neither of the LEDs in the shoes worked. As it was a sale and it said there were only 4 left in stock, I bought all 4 in hopes that I could keep the ones that worked and send the others back. Out of ALL 10 shoes that I bought? 2 left ones worked, the other 8 shoes ALL had non-functioning LED lights. Appalling.

Laughable

Have ordered of of adidas website , and as always against you visual choice transferred to order along with a pic of the Colour -and each choice is a pic .
However , pic and colour does not relate to description which is a totally different colour ( so my bad ) .
But it is so laughable as never in all years have I had a pic of a item related to order that in no way matches the narrative.
Can,t be bothered to return as all a pain .
but ADIDAS UK , really have I /we now got to making sure the narrative teamed up to your pic is correct .

PS , for info pic of top is beige actual - maroon ( as small narrative says )

Worst customer service ever

Easily the worst company I have had to deal with. I sent a 2 month old pair of shoes back as the sole is falling off. They have been rejected as they have been worn.... which is fairly obvious as they are in for warranty. After explisitly stating this to the customer rep. The shoes were rejected 2 weeks ago and am yet to hear anything about when I may get them back.
All in all I will never buy adidas from them directly again, absolute jokers.

Adidas U.K. avoid online,no refund no service, never order Adidas ever!

Adidas U.K. will steal your money. Online stock is not reliable and no refund. They cancelled my order and no refund until I contacted their customer support and told me rejected by credit card company which I never have that experience and they didn’t tell me for this issue.I gave my bank details and still no refund after 2 weeks and contacted customer support and they told me same story which bank rejected. I don’t believe their story and annoying point is Adidas never informed to me about rejected. I tried to solve this problem over month and eventually I gave up because they never refund and never showed alternative solutions and substitution.I’m sure they do this way on purpose to keep money without providing products.I NEVER BUY ADIDAS PRODUCTS EVER!They are scumbag company.

Dont waste your time

Poor quality item (Trainer) arrived which was not fit for purpose.

Trying the item on it didnt feel like the lockdown was correct however we decided to try the item for a couple of hours to see if it was a settling in issue as sometimes this can happen.

After a short period of walking it was determined the item was not fit for purpose and we began the returns process and this is where the problems started.

You only get a small amount of characters to explain your reason so we tried as best we could and packaged the item and sent it off expecting the correct outcome within 7-14 days etc.

To our surprise we received a poorly worded response stating we had broken the T&C's by effectively wearing the item and that it was returned in a used condition.

We quite rightly responded with yes it was worn for a very short period to determine whether it had a genuine fault or whether it was a personal issue however as it was a fault the item has been returned.

We expected this to be the end of the issue and resolution reached but no this was just the beginning as adidas seemingly doubled down on their reasons stating T&C's were breached and they would not accept a return.

I asked whether they could reconsider their decision (and hopefully see sense after our chance to shed more light on the issue) but the customer service rep was very blunt and not helpful and shut our claim down without a satisfactory conclusion being reached.

We have received the item back and are now stuck with an item that isn't fit for purpose with the responses coming from adidas being extremely generic and it seems they will not be drawn in the issue any further almost coming across as the victim in this situation when we have tried to reopen the issue.

Extremely poor company i wont be ordering from them again and i wont be recommending them either.

Unwearable Shoes, Peeling Personalisation and a Useless Voucher

I am extremely disappointed with Adidas and the way my complaint has been handled.

I ordered a personalised pair of shoes and quickly discovered that they were completely unwearable. Within around 10 minutes of wearing them, they rubbed my feet so badly that they caused painful blisters and bleeding.

After reporting the issue, I went through what felt like an endless complaints process, providing photos and repeatedly explaining the problem. The complaint was initially closed without any satisfactory resolution.

To make matters worse, the personalised lettering started peeling off, raising even more concerns about the quality of the product.

Eventually, Adidas provided a voucher as compensation. However, after trying numerous pairs of shoes and other products on their website, the voucher does not work on anything I want to purchase. Every attempt results in a message saying the voucher is not applicable.

So after months of frustration, I am left with a pair of shoes I cannot wear, personalised details that have peeled off, and a voucher that appears impossible to redeem.

This has been one of the most disappointing customer service experiences I have ever had. I expected much better from a global brand like Adidas.

Do not use online until they fix up!!!!

Do not use online - stick to the Adidas stores and retail stockists until they've fixed up. TRUST ME!!!

Bad times for the brand with 3 stripes. Multiple case references for just one single complaint - Refund has taken over a month to issue and still not completed yet - Apparent Team Leaders not calling back to resolve etc etc.

You'd think they would invest more in their CS especially around after sales. The World Cup can't be to blame surely.

Buy from Nike instead

I’ve genuinely struggled to think of a worse customer service experience, especially from a company as large as Adidas.

To be clear, most of the problems weren’t actually Adidas’ fault to begin with. The first pair of trainers I ordered was dispatched on time exactly as promised. The issue started when Evri got hold of them. After a delay, they eventually marked them as delivered… except they delivered them to a completely different address in a completely different county.

I contacted Adidas and explained what had happened. They had to wait for Evri to officially confirm the parcel was lost before they could do anything, which took several days. Fair enough. However, when I asked for a replacement pair to simply be sent out, they told me they couldn’t do that. I had to wait for a refund and then place a completely new order myself.

So I did exactly that.

Unfortunately, the second order appears to have suffered the same fate. Delayed, stuck in the system, and seemingly lost. At the time of writing, it’s been almost three weeks since my original order and I still don’t have any trainers.

What really pushed this from frustrating to ridiculous was the refund process. Adidas already had all my information. They had my order number, name, address, account details and confirmation from Evri that the parcel was lost. Yet to process the refund, I was asked to complete a PDF claim form containing information they already possessed.

I explained that I only had an iPhone and no laptop or printer. Their solution was for me to scribble a signature onto the PDF with my finger, screenshot it and send it back. Apart from feeling like something from 2005, it made no sense. The signature looked nothing like my real signature, and Adidas had nothing to compare it against anyway. It felt like bureaucracy for the sake of bureaucracy.

To make matters worse, while all this was going on, I tried to buy two more pairs of trainers for my sons. For reasons nobody could explain, Adidas’ payment system suddenly blocked my account. Credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, PayPal, Klarna, manually entering card details – nothing worked.

Customer service said they would investigate. Days later, I still couldn’t place an order. The trainers sat in my basket until they eventually went out of stock.

So here I am. My original trainers still haven’t arrived. I’ve had to complete unnecessary forms to get refunds for parcels the courier has already admitted losing. I can’t place new orders because of a payment issue Adidas can’t seem to resolve. And customer service appears unable to do anything beyond reading from a script.

I like Adidas products. I really do. But after this experience, I would never buy directly from Adidas again. Buy from a third-party retailer instead and save yourself the headache.

Outstandingly poor experience

Outstandingly poor experience and service.

Returned 2 items.
They have sent me a perfectly good jacket back 'not meeting requirements'. It hasn't even been tried on, and has all tags as expected. They cannot even give a reason as to why it has been returned.

The other item has not been rejected/returned to me, however nor has a refund been issued. Nor have I had any communication about it, so it appears to be lost in the ehter.

This is 3 weeks ago now, and they simply refuse to respond to emails and chats to this day. Will have to through credit card claim procedure.

Warning to all, avoid avoid avoid. Wish i had checked the reviews first. £400 out of pocket.
