We recently had a 10kW Adlar Castra heat pump along with a 300-litre Fjord hot water system installed at our property, and I couldn’t be more pleased with the entire experience.

A huge thank you to the Adlar team, Harry, Laron, Courage, Sayid, and Connor for their outstanding workmanship and professionalism throughout the installation. From start to finish, they were friendly, dedicated, and clearly took great pride in what they do.

The installation process was smooth, well-organised, and completed to a very high standard. The team were always happy to answer questions and made sure everything was explained clearly, which gave us real confidence.

Most importantly, the system is performing brilliantly efficient, reliable, and already making a noticeable difference to our home comfort.

I would highly recommend Adlar to anyone considering a heat pump or hot water system installation. A truly 5-star service from a fantastic team!

I first contacted Adlar in January 2026 after seeing an online offer. After submitting my details, I received a call offering a free home consultation.
A few days later, Ben came to my house and explained how a heat pump works and what their offer included. I was satisfied with the explanation and decided to sign up.
Scott and Connor, the two installation engineers, did an excellent job installing the heat pump and the water cylinder in the loft. They took great care to protect the carpets and floors around the house to keep everything as clean as possible. They were also very friendly and professional, and I would like to thank them again for their work.
I am still trying to understand how the heat pump works with the different programmes available on the app (there are 16 in total), which I find a bit confusing. Scott did explain it to me, but it is still not very easy to fully understand. I also tried to find some help online but was not successful.
I received a call the day after the installation was completed, and the person on the phone told me I would receive an email with more details on how to operate the different “curves”. However, I have not received anything yet (it has now been 5 days). That is the only reason I am giving 4 stars.

I have an Adlar Castra Fjord ASHP water tank in the loft installed just over a year ago. Yesterday, whilst up in the loft to collect suitcases for a trip I noticed a small amount of water underneath the tank. I emailed Adlar and less than 24 hours later an engineer called this morning to check out the problem. The condensation drain connection was weeping causing the wet patch. The engineer tightened the connection, added a bead of silcone and checked out the Adlar ASHP heating unit while she was here. That is a 5 star service.

Couldn't rate the experience of Adlar Castra highly enough. From initial meeting through installation and after care it has been fantastic. Prompt and knowledgeable response to any questions we had and one year after installation the whole system has run perfectly.

System performance is excellent, but we had to stumble through several procurement and installation issues which took patience and persistence to resolve. Company needs to improve its communication feedback and attention to detail. System installed mid-December and easily handled the cold and wet late-winter gloom when PV panels produced hardly any energy! House is powered by overnight cheap rate and 27 kWh battery storage, minimising operating costs. I look forward to creating a usage summary for the year, in December 2025

Positively, the system, with a separate hot tank heater is good. The team are friendly and responsive, which was useful, as negatively the quality control was poor, too much snagging, after 4 snagging visits the system is OK. I would be inclined to use Adlar again.

Adlar explained what was required and how it would be managed. They arrived on time and complete the job within the time stated and explained how to control the heating and water heating. They tidied up after and removed all the rubbish.

So far, no problems with our adlar heat pumps. Minor hiccups organising installation but nothing worth complaining about.

Had Heat pump installed recently.

This system was installed January 2024. It took 2 days. The workers were excellent. Arrived on time, did not stop throughout the day and cleared up before they left. So far I have been very satisfied with heating and hot water. I now only have electricity, including Solar Panels, and the bill is comparable to earlier years (gas and electricity combined) allowing for the increase in fuel charges. My only problems is understanding the IT settings but that's me not the system! I could do with an 'idiots guide'!!!

We are delighted with the way the Adlar system works, the ease of control and the team at Adlar. The installation threw up a few problems which the Adlar team took in their stride. It took a little while to conclude everything, but everyone at Adlar were committed to providing full satisfaction - which they have done. We would have no doubt about recommending Adlar Castra.

The installation team were excellent, efficient and knowledgeable. The ops team kept us informed after a problem at Customs. Highly recommend this company both for aesthetics (black is so much nicer than white goods white) and much more reasonable price than any local competitor. The sales team also provided honest and helpful answers to the shower of questions I have. The always on background heat is great and keeps the house toasty. The hot water is just hot enough.

Really impressed with the efficiency of the heat pump. It costs less to run than I expected and kept the house warm all winter. Installation was all wrapped up in a little over a day. Cost wise it was by and far the most affordable heat pump on the market

Adlar Castra fitted our air source heat pump including fitting 3 larger radiators efficiently, tidily and on the days that had been agreed. The system worked well from the start. The house is now warm for 24 hours a day. We were pleasantly surprised that there was virtually no noise from the heat pump except when standing outside within a few metres of the unit.
Coupled with our solar panels it looks as if we will be quids in over the year, although we will only be certain once we've completed a full year. Even if it turns out to be slightly more expensive which I very much doubt, the lovely temperature in January February and March in the house would in itself make the system well worthwhile.

First year service and I learnt a lot more about my system. Radiators were bled and efficiency checked. My first three months after installation had minor problems to iron out. Now my system works so well I had complaints from my wife the house was too hot in the winter with settings only half way up the scale. My bills seem to be lower. Plenty of hot water all the time

Very pleased with everything. The house is warm, the water is hot and the bills are down.

And the service, including aftercare, had been brilliant too. I'm trying all my friends to get one of these!

From the 1st chat with Andre regarding the heatpump. He was very charming and new his stuff and put us as ease into installing at Heatpump. The team came to install and they were always on time, polite, tidy and very professional. Having at Adlar Heatpump was the best decision I have made. My home is always at the right temperature and it is very easy to use. Would I recommend Adlar to my family and friends. Well 100% I would. Honestly the experience I have had with then has been bang on. Thank you Andre and your Team you have been amazing from start to finish and I am one happy chappy.

We love our Adlar heat pumps. The house is very cosy and we find the steady heat really comfortable. The split system with a separate small heat pump for the hot water works perfectly for us. Installation was clean and tidy and everyone involved was really friendly and polite. It was also the cheapest quote we had. Couldn’t be happier and would highly recommend.
