BOOKING.COM WON'T GIVE YOU A 1 TIME COURTESY FOR CANCELLATION

My bf checked online with uluwatu cliff apartments bali indonesia he put the check in and check out dates and he made the booking. After he click confirmed he was charged right away and it is already non refundable. He haven't realized that it is non refundable when the time of booking until he got an email and his card already charged. Usually we are making a reservation with a refundable booking but at this time it was not. In his behalf I contacted booking.com 4 TIMES and send an email but they said they cannot cancel. We just want to cancel the booking we sent an email for the reason why. They are charging much higher on booking fees. I wasted my time already just to ask them to give us 1 time courtesy. BOOKING.COM WON'T GIVE YOU A 1 TIME COURTESY FOR CANCELLATION ... BEWARE. IM NOT HAPPY AND WE WILL NOT USE BOOKING.COM IN THE FUTURE.

The customer service for property owners is poor

The customer service is unable to handle situations that fall beyond their protocol. I'm unable to access my registered phone in order to login to my property, and they simply say, you need to receive a call on that number.

There was no escalation, and when I asked for the manager, the person became rude and shortly hung up on me.

I've called 4-5 times and unable to resolve this issue, across different geographies, etc.

Do not use this company

I cancelled a hotel which the site indicated that it was free to cancel. I got charged £150 anyway. Booking.com not interested in refunding my money.
I will never use them again.
