Avoid Adriagate at all cost!
Avoid Adriagate – Terrible Value for Money
The apartment I booked through Adriagate was absolutely not worth the €2,500 I paid. The balcony had only a thin partition, meaning no privacy – you are basically sharing your balcony with your neighbors. Before booking, I repeatedly asked for photos, but the agency refused, saying they “don’t have any.”
The apartment was extremely dark, with almost no sunlight and few windows. The only good thing was the owner, who was kind and helpful, but this doesn’t justify the price.
I do not recommend this agency – they take the money, provide no service, and even responded to my complaint by asking if I got extra photos when I book trough Booking, crazy attitude.
the worst decision we made
Avoid this company at all costs. Booking a cruise with them was the worst decision we made. Our fully paid cruise was canceled just one month before departure, leaving us with non-refundable airfare and no vacation. We eventually got the cruise payment refunded, but we lost the money for our flights—and missed out on the booked cruise we had planned for months.

Subject: Formal Complaint Regarding Accommodation in Primošten – Lack of Accountability and Notification to ARN
Adriagate,
We are writing to express our deep dissatisfaction with both the accommodation we booked through your platform in Primošten and the way you, as an intermediary, have handled our subsequent communication.
The property did not meet the advertised standards in any meaningful way. Upon arrival, there were no bed linens or towels, the apartment was unclean, there were ants in the bathroom, and bird droppings on the balcony table. The kitchen chairs were in such poor condition that towels had been placed over them, and the table had not even been wiped down. Despite contacting you during our stay, we were not provided with sufficient bed linen—our son had to sleep with a sarong as a blanket, which is entirely unacceptable.
What disappoints us most, however, is not only the condition of the property but your company’s consistent refusal to take responsibility. While you have responded to our emails, your replies have repeatedly dismissed our concerns and deflected all accountability. There has been no willingness to acknowledge the issues, despite the fact that similar complaints have been raised in previous reviews.
When the same problems are reported again and again without any improvement, it is no longer a matter of isolated incidents—it becomes a pattern of neglect. As a booking intermediary, you have a responsibility not only to list properties but to ensure they meet basic standards and that your customers are treated with respect.
Due to your unwillingness to address these issues constructively, we have now filed a formal complaint with the Swedish National Board for Consumer Disputes (ARN) for further review. We believe this step is necessary, as your handling of the matter has shown a clear lack of accountability.
We urge you to take this feedback seriously and to review both your quality assurance processes and your approach to customer complaints.
very good service
Easy contracting, online checkin, prompt reply on queries
Poor and impolite customer service
Dealt with a Jana from Adriagate (on behalf of Booking.Com, I assume). Sadly, the problem was not understood. The info was misinterpreted and given to the host. The info from the host was probably mis-translated back to me since this Jana claimed things which were not true / did not happen. My complaint was just dismissed.. as if customers have no right to question or make complaints.
This Jana was very rude with her replies and didn't seem to be very well informed at all. Disappointing. Poor customer service. Very poor! How very rude to tell the customer "We don´t accept refund and your case is closed"... There was NO acceptable solution offered to me, the
customer - and the agent just decided to closes the case without customer satisfaction. How dreadful. I can only assume that making % commission is more important than a happy customer.
Absolutely disgraceful company
Absolutely disgraceful company. Booked an apartment via booking.com. In Croatia.
On arrival, check in time was 2 hrs and 40minutes after advised, It was not as advertised.
Air con was ineffective, no secure parking as advertised, the stairwell leading to apartment was full of broken windows. There was gangs of people outside. We couldn’t stay there as we felt unsafe.
Due to the late check in, we didn’t get alternative accommodation until nearly 10pm.
Company will not reimburse as we left !
