Just came off the phone as I am a novice at adverts online, The person I spoke to was quite rude stating i need to be spending x amount when I have already given a budget to kick my business off for the time being at least. they were not interested in my business as its a low budget, so i asked what im actually getting for my money and the answer basically in a nut shell was nothing. my argument is that surely even if spending just £1 on an advert that would gain some kind of exposure however i am spending more than this and apparently not good enough.
All I see from google ads is that there only interested in big companies that want to spend thousands of £s not look after small businesses that could potentially be a big company later on. However karma gets everyone at some point, don't think that you'll still be going when all the large businesses fall because they are now, the small businesses won't be there to bail you out, why ? because you don't want to help us now.
For that reason my business will go elsewhere and find other ways of advertising. terrible service from a company like this. absolutely appalled

Google ads sucks

In the past it was a great service on ads, now its a scam, I search for my banner or my ads on google search but nothing, but also charge me for click that not exist, I hate this service, try other options.

And also they restrict me my ads of fix computers because I offer third party services, seriously?

they stop your ads with no reason, damaging business that has been with them for 8 years and has spent over 300k on ads! customer support does not exist anymore , they just dont care , they expect you to send emails and wait and when you reach to their chat system which is on and off they just say send emails!

Just as all the rest google has riped me off. they offered me $500 bonus if I spend $500. every thing has gone well for 2 1/2 months. just as I was about to reach the $500 spend on my side bam merchant account suspended. they wanted id verification. I complyed. however during this process they suspended my ad account. And now somehow someone hacked my account and has claimed my website so I can't even do anything. Google is a big scam do not trust them at all. I canceled all my accounts with google.

SANDIACRE STOVES.
Delighted with my new burner. The installation went very smoothly, replacing my old burner with the new one. James and Stephanie are lovely people and very thorough. There was no mess and all my furniture was covered. James ran through everything I needed to know on the best way to use my burner and also gave me a starter kit box which included everything I needed to start using my burner. Very impressed. I highly recommend Sandiacre Stoves.

Google uses third party companies in India to relentlessly call you and spam you with absolute useless information. They try and force you to spend more money without improving anything. This is a horrible thing to do to your customers. Google used to be good; now they are evil.

Google betray the new clients on the first campaign
with a fraud misleading offer
They offered me $240 FREE advertising
so I start spending then I realized that I have spend $240 and then google will give similar in the future

I stopped the campaign and called for support to cancel such misleading offer and refund the amount spent - kept sending not possible to refund

So I keep posting my negative experience with Google Adwords every where on the internet so people would be aware and not fall in the trap

Conclusion:
Complete betrayal to new clients first time on Google Adwords so be ware of that

Scammed out of $1500 ad credit…

They offered a $1500 ad credit for spending $1500. Our ad was on track to meet that by the 3 month deadline then all the sudden without any changes to the ad is MIRACULOUSLY stopped running , down from $100/day spend to NOTHING 20 days before the deadline. Then another MIRACLE 2 days after the deadline it started running again. Not only are they evil but corrupt and doing illegal shit. When someone called me after my complaint they hung up on my when I asked to speak to a supervisor. PATHETIC CUSTOMER SERVICE. MONOPOLY. DONT BE EVIL MY ASS. SOOOOO EVIL.

This is the worst Ads product ever…

This is the worst Ads product ever used, unfortunately we must use it because Google have monopoly in search industry. It's super hard to setup, targeting is quite bad, their AI will detect some nonsense and stop the ads. If there was alternative I would switch immediately.

Would prefer to leave a 0 star review, Google Ads are totally useless ! Impossible to talk to and when you do they talk utter nonsense and are obviously just going through a script to get you to spend the maximum amount without properly looking into what your company marketing requires. Had a Google representative call me today didn’t even give me his name Was talking about my account asked for email four times asked for account number four times which I gave to him to be told. I have to raise another ticket again which I’ve already raised for. This will be five. They just give you the runaround. They don’t even do their jobs properly this is a complete waste of time. I will never ever ever use Google ads again. I just feel totally ripped off. Let down by terrible customer service of Google ads Complete idiots don’t even know what they’re doing and I think they’re in India And you can’t understand what they’re saying they talk too fast Very terrible, unbelievable Vava bad customer service

RUN away from this horrible service

There should be a way of giving negative stars. I just wish I had read these reviews before signing up.

Avoid a lot of headache and hassle--RUN from Google Ads. They claimed that I'd get $500 in credits after 60 days. I stuck with them for over 60 days and am still getting charged by them. I still have yet to see 1 penny of credit applied to my account.

They charge ridiculous amounts for absolutely no increase in genuine leads for new clients. To add insult to injury we started receiving a bunch of calls that were not even related to our business and mostly had people calling looking for work.

Good luck ever actually speaking to someone if you have questions or need help as there is no phone number for that anywhere. I never did get responses to my emails once I signed up and the only way to reach a rep once the're assigned is to set an appointment online--you'll be lucky if you can get one within a week. I'm surprised with how bad this "service" is and Google has their name on this garbage.

Google Ads is an absolute disaster

Google Ads is an absolute disaster. You end up spending way too much on ads and get no sales in return. What they don't tell you is that they send fake accounts to your website to increase traffic, but with no real conversions. When you reach out for help from a so-called 'expert', you get an invitation for a call, but once you accept it, they just click you away. They don’t respond to anything, and you get no assistance. It’s pure fraud. I would never recommend Google Ads to anyone. They don’t deserve a single star for their service.

Google Ads is absoluut een ramp. Je betaalt veel te veel voor advertenties en krijgt helemaal geen sales terug. Wat ze je niet vertellen, is dat ze nep-accounts naar je website sturen om je verkeer te verhogen, maar zonder enige echte conversies. Wanneer je hulp zoekt van een zogenaamde 'expert', krijg je een uitnodiging voor een gesprek, maar zodra je die accepteert, wordt je gewoon weggeklikt. Ze reageren nergens meer op en je krijgt geen hulp. Het is pure oplichting. Ik zou Google Ads aan niemand aanraden. Ze verdienen absoluut geen enkele ster voor hun service.

Misleading Budget Recommendations & Poor Customer Support

I trusted Google Ads to help grow my business, but instead, I was misled into overspending with little to no return. I followed Google’s automated budget recommendations, assuming they were designed to improve performance, only to be left with an unexpectedly massive bill.

When I raised my concerns with Google Ads Support, they were dismissive and refused to escalate my case to a senior manager. Despite my repeated attempts to explain that I did not manually increase my budget—Google’s system did—it was simply blamed on me, and no refund or credit was offered.

This experience has severely impacted my business financially. Google should warn advertisers properly before pushing them to increase budgets, rather than prioritizing their own profits. If you’re a small business owner considering Google Ads, be extremely cautious—what seems like helpful recommendations may just be a way to get you to spend more with no guarantee of results.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and support from such a major company.

what a horrible experience.. hard to describe all the BS we are going though. yes I am technologically challenged, condescending, rude, when I requested another support technician they completely ghosted me and shut down my account. We can't get a response or email support. When you call they wont help or get you a supervisor. If your a small business your at the end of the line.. don't waist of time and money
