Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Looking at 150 reviews, most reviewers were let down by their experience overall. Many customers found the customer service to be unhelpful and difficult to access, often reporting issues with unknowledgeable representatives, missed calls, and automated responses that offered no real solutions. People frequently encountered problems with campaign management, including ads being rejected for unclear reasons, campaigns not running, and unauthorized spending. Reviewers also expressed significant dissatisfaction with promotional offers and credits, often finding them misleading or difficult to claim, leading to unexpected charges. Some people also felt that the platform's pricing was excessive, with costs per click increasing unexpectedly and budgets being wasted on ineffective advertising. Additionally, a few customers reported issues with transactions and account security, with support being unresponsive or denying responsibility for the charges.

Absolutely shocking!

Absolutely shocking!! Save yourself the headache, if you end up needing support they say they can't help you and it's not their problem and refer to another ticket and they can't help either and you end up going round in circles till they think you'll eventually give up

They add new software to your account

They add new software to your account, which is paused as you are out of the country. The new software attracts views (but only trash views, sales etc) They then bill you and there is no way to get your money back. They do not reply to your emails and calls are just answered by AI which is useless and then hangs up on you.

There are words I could use to describe…

There are words I could use to describe them and I can't use them however I strongly urge people to never ever ever use them they are literally robbing you in broad daylight but fortunately somehow this is seen as legal when in retrospect its a massive huge scam with no communication no answers or help examples such as on the scamming end on other websites your able to remove a card that you have set up with someone whereas on here they won't let you remove your card till you add another and then of course you won't be able to remove that card till you add another so in all honesty never use them never ever if it was a last resort never.

IF YOU USE, YOU LOSE!!

I PAUSED my entire ad campaign on the 28th of September this year. Despite this, conversion data and linked costings for the SAME CAMPAIGN have still been generated on and after this date up until the 3rd of October when I found that I had been billed £205.00.

On the 3rd of October I DELETED my entire ad campaign but I am still worried that they will continue to fraudulently bill me.

The WHOLE thing is a complete con job and as other reviewers have said their monopoly and gigantism in the market is letting them get away with brazen fraudulent conduct.

After 'speaking' with their Ai bot it conceded that it would take a human to understand why I have been continued to be billed after I paused my campaign and also explained that according to its own references I have not received any conversion data or associated bill after the 28th which contradicts the Data analyst section of my Ads account which shows positive conversion AND payment outcomes for EVERY day on and after the 28th!!!!

Scam Promotion

I've contacted support over phone and email, both TERRIBLE. They're currently handing out a "Promotion" where if you spend 400€, you get 400€ in ads credit. I contacted them asking how do I claim this credit since I've already spent more than 400€, and I get called by an indian number, where: I can barely hear the speaker, the accent is so strong I can't understand, she tells me it will be fixed by email.
Later that day, I get called again by the same lady, and she gets some type of amnesia I guess because she told me that she didn't call me this morning, and that apparently I can't claim my credit because in their terms and conditions I had to contact them within 14 days to claim the offer. I answered that nowhere in their terms and conditions it mentions this, the call ends.
I then contact them again through email, they answer with asking me to screenshot where in their website I've seen this promotion (literally in their homepage!!) and the link to their OWN terms and conditions.
After I send all of this information, they tell me: "To be eligible, the system often requires that the billing setup is completed in the same session as the account creation, directly after clicking a promotional link." and that therefore it's not possible for me to claim my promotion credit. So now I get a DIFFERENT answer, and once again, nowhere in their terms and conditions this is mentioned.
So not only it seems that they're purposefully omitting information, but they also change their narrative to accommodate their excuses of just not wanting me to claim my promotion credit.
All of this just is a plain scam, and I will further pursue this matter.
I'm taking my ads campaign somewhere else, bye Google Ads.

My experience with Google Ads has been…

My experience with Google Ads has been terrible throughout. Despite having an excellent keyword to creative relevancy rating of excellent and a high CTR my ads have only gained impressions and clicks in the middle of the night and for one day the Ad switched itself to disabled by itself. At the time just before publishing my Ad I was presented with an average click spend of £0.75 - £1.24 but this suddenly jolted to over £5.00 per click. With all this in mind I cannot recommend Google Ads to any serious business owner as you will never know where you stand with the costings and you will not get any return.

Google Ads Is Full of Flaws

There is a reason Google Ads has a 1 star here. The product is just bad.

It's so easy for ads to become not eligible. Fixing them is extremely challenging.

They ban and suspend you for reasons unknown.

Unfortunately they rely on their near monopoly on search.

Support takes a long time to respond.

I Need a Better YouTube Rep than Syed

I have received multiple attempts from my Google Ads representative to assist me in creating a Effective Campaign for Cairns Lobster the YouTube (mainly Shorts). I have had enough of wasted time and money, I will not try again with Syed Mohdz and demand a representative that understands my Channel and YouTube enough to do their job effectively. 2 Stars for Syed. I love YouTube, I am a YouTuber, my Channel is trending theres no reason I cant grow FAST with a great campaign. Until I get a great campaign Im not able to invest.

Google Ads. Deceptive fraudsters.

All I can say: it's a scam. A dishonest fraud. A hoax, a swindle. They cheat dishonestly. Around 89€ have been taken from my account and there is no active campaign going-on! I absolutely NEVER arranged an ads campaign. And, from nowhere, came 144,000 visualizations, 3,000 clicks and... I protested and someone called Milena from gTech Customer Experience answered with a chat-box-like institutional answer saying I had an ongoing campaign and bla-bla-bla. Al very silly, stupid, making me very angry. And I'll tell you why: I TRUSTED GOOGLE. Google is Google, not at all a nobody, a no-one, it's almighty Google and they are supposed to stand at the top, the best, in honesty, in trust, in truthfulness, integrity, decency, honour, rectitude and probity. Because if Google fails us, man this world is doomed into anarchy and heck. I cannot believe Google has been up to setting-up and supporting a team of "Customer Support" thumb-sucking youngsters who cannot discern between a deep concern from a customer which is his (my) account has been tampered with, his (my) money has been stolen, his (my) account with Google Ads has been tinkered with and honest people trying to get through to them that they have debited ilegal amounts. And, indeed, this Young lady answering in a rude, disrespectful, ill-mannered and offensive way. No way, Mr. Google. You've got it all wrong. Clean-out your mess and start anew with a fresh, clean, honest Customer Support Team. One that respects people. One that respects their money. Or is it Mr. Google who is doing it all from the very deep of it's guts and knows very weel what it is doing, earning money in such a dishonest, fraudulent way? To whomever may read this: never go into a Google Ads campaign. It is a fraud. They will take your money. They will say you have done this and that. You will never receive a single conversion. Are you saying, Mr. Google, that after 140,000 visualizations, not just ONE person has clicked on the "I want more information" button, not just one single e-mail received? No way. And, most specially, when I had NEVER, absolutely NEVER initiated a campaign. Drop-out, stay away from Google Ads. They're out for your dime, your penny, your cent. This is not the end of the story: I'm so utterly annoyed I'm going to spend a lot of time writing negative reviews like this one all over the internet. Is it worth my precios time? No, but some way, somehow, somebody has to start a CAMPAIGN to stop people like Google doing things like that. So, no, it's not worth it but, yes, I'm going to do it. Mr. Google, you wanted a fight, you will get one back. There are many people out there who are your victims. Let's try hard to wave them towards you and try and stop you from doing so much wrong to innocent people who had faith in the company.

I have spent around £3,000 for 7,700…

I have spent around £3,000 for 7,700 clicks, only to discover that Google’s system was appending {ignore} into my URLs, sending traffic to “Not Found” pages. Despite numerous communications, no one in their support team highlighted this critical issue. After months of wasted budget, I have seen only 5 purchase conversions. Had I been informed earlier, I could have redirected these links myself. Moving forward, I will only work with partners who operate on a commission basis and share in the results, rather than relying on technical jargon.

Google chat wastes a lot of your time…

Google chat wastes a lot of your time to record your issue... and then then they say:

"Our support team will be able to assist you further with this issue. However, Google has made significant changes to our help center making live transfers unavailable. You may request a call from them by going to this link...
Please wait for them to reach out to you via email or phones"...
and here is the frustrating part:

"... Since I've already provided you the resource to connect with our Support team, I will be kindly closing this chat thread now to assist other customers. I hope you have a great day! Thank you for contacting Google Ads!"

How poor is that for a service. Google take advantage of their monopoly. So sad.

Very Frustrated with Google Ads support

Every time I try to connect with the Google Hosted Support team by phone, the call does not reach them. Instead, it always gets transferred to another team, who verifies Google ads account and email ID, but then informs me that he is not part of the Google Hosted Support team.

Today, since 11:00 AM, I have been continuously trying to get in touch with the Google Hosted Support team. Unfortunately, no one is responding, and I have currently been on hold for more than an hour.
