I have extremely mixed feelings about Advance America. Nearly everyone that I've dealt with at the stores and on the phone have been extremely friendly and polite (special props to Keith at the Newberry Road store in Gainesville), and the company will usually work with you if you need to adjust your payback date. This service can certainly be very helpful if you're in dire straits as far as needing money right away, before your next paycheck. HOWEVER, it is SO EXPENSIVE to borrow money from these kinds of lenders, and often leads many consumers into a "vicious cycle" of paying back their loans only to have to borrow again since the cost of repaying the loan has caused them additional financial hardship.

Recently they have had more than one person working at a time and that has really cut down on the wait time. It is really an improvement. The employees are all really friendly and nice.
