This company screams bad faith from Day…
This company screams bad faith from Day One. You can agree on a payment schedule but it doesn’t matter. With the very first payment, they attempt a withdrawal before the date agreed upon. Now the following detail is our own problem as desperate customers, but if you’re in the position to need a loan like this you are probably somebody who is able to have a payment ready in the bank when it’s supposed to be ready, and not much more than that. When this company started taking payments before they were due, I go negative and start stacking up overdraft fees. And not a single facet of the public facing side of this company cared in the least. I told employees on the phone. I told employees in emails. I told store employees in person. I had not planned to default, but they were already breaching the contract before the first payment was even due, it caused me real damages, and something needs to be done about that before I start trusting them with my bank info again. No one has done anything, no one has responded to anything, and still the attempts to collect money continue. I’m really gonna have to start considering legal action. If any potential lenders are reading this, go somewhere else. Anywhere else. All you will find at Advance America is bait and switch fraud.
