Adam Guiney owes us money for a service we provided to promote his business. This is heartbreaking to us, as a small family business we can afford to carry dept. This represents this ethics and I would not trust him. I am concerned he is not using Advanced roofline as a name anymore and will just use another name. So watch out!

SHOCKING aftersales customer. NOW it looks like he's ceased trading!

Terrible Job

ARC completed work on our property in September 2024. The work included facias, Soffits, guttering and new PVC Tudor boards to the exterior. After numerous small issues that Adam and his team did resolve we were faced, in May 2025, with the Tudor boards all coming away from the wall, exposing our property to risk of damage. After two months of trying to get ARC to attend, they have failed to turn up multiple times and have been reported to the Guild of Master Craftsmen. ARC ignored their attempts of contact and have now had their membership removed. We are now thousands out of pocket. ARC appear to have now shut the business but have been reported to Trading Standards.

Flat roof repair very shabby work

Flat roof repair very shabby work. Lining lifting after less than 2 years. Do not use this company and please get existing work checked before the winter. Paid and quoted to have old wood removed, they have laid rubber lining on old damp wood. Tried to contact and been ignored.

Poor Aftercare – Guttering Failed After 6 Months, No Response

I hired Advanced Roofline Cheshire to replace my fascias, soffits, and guttering. Just six months later, the guttering came apart. Since then, I’ve contacted the owner, Adam, multiple times via calls and texts, but he hasn’t responded at all.

Even their own sales representative admitted he had given up trying to chase Adam, which speaks volumes about how this business is run. There’s clearly no aftercare, no accountability, and no interest in fixing issues once they’ve been paid.

Extremely disappointed. I would not recommend Advanced Roofline Cheshire to anyone looking for quality workmanship or reliable service.

***EDIT: In response to Adam below:

Your response is both dismissive and misleading.

There is nothing “confusing” about my original review. The downpipe connected to the gutter came apart — exactly as I said. It didn’t just “come loose,” it fell apart due to your failure to fix it properly. As a result, rainwater is now running down the wall of my house, which could cause long-term damage if left unresolved. That is not a minor issue — it’s a clear sign of poor workmanship.

Let’s be clear — my builder is working on an entirely separate part of the house and only called you to ask how to remove a piece of guttering from the garage, not to fix your mistakes. Your advice wasn’t useful, and even if it had been, giving advice over the phone doesn’t excuse you from doing the job properly in the first place.

He ended up figuring it out himself — and in doing so, discovered that you hadn’t even used proper screws to fix the parts together. You used sealant, which is completely unacceptable and not what anyone would expect from a company claiming to offer “professional” seamless guttering services.

You loudly promote a 15-year guarantee, yet you’ve ignored my multiple polite messages and phone calls asking you to sort this out. That’s not just bad service — it’s dishonest. If you don’t honour your guarantee or even respond, then it’s not worth the paper it’s written on.

And while we’re at it, here are more issues I had with your work:
• You demanded random cash payments before the job was finished — completely unprofessional.
• You reused the old, dirty soffit vents, even though the job clearly included installing new ones.
• I had to flag up several problems with the finish around the front door and garage — things any reputable company should’ve taken care of without needing to be told.

In short, your work has been sloppy, your aftercare nonexistent, and your attitude dismissive. I stand 100% by my review and would not recommend your services to anyone.

I expect you'll cease trading under this name and go under a different name to avoid your bad reviews!!

March 2026 - Adam now trading as Roofline Recovery Ltd!

Reply from Advanced Roofline Cheshire

I’m sorry you feel this way I think your wording is very confusing the guttering has not fell apart as you’ve explained and wrote on this review. The Swan neck has come loose on your downpipe and you’ve had a builder working at your house who phoned me up for my advice on how to deal with the seamless gutters, which yourself and builder needed to advance forward and complete your extension on the same phone call I asked him could he put the Swan neck together? Only fair I think for me giving out advice. When many companies wouldn’t as I say, I’m sorry you feel this way.

Well done Advance Roofline Cheshire…

Adam from Advance Roofline Cheshire were among the folk who quoted for some work on our house. We choose them to carry out the work because Adam was clear and explained what they would do and why it was needed. The lads who fitted the facias, verges, and guttering worked hard and did a great job. I would have them back to do more work without hesitation.

An excellent job

I chose this company as a nearby house had used them to do their facias and guttering. I am delighted with the work and my house looks so much better. The workmen were polite and the job reasonably priced. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.

Replaced flat garage roof

They recently replaced my flat garage roof. It was leaking, very tired and the wooden fascia was rotting away. Replaced it with a more modern rubber cover, including new boards, flashing and pvc fascia. The guys that did the work were friendly, approachable, polite & professional. Couldn't be happier with the result. Very happy to recommend them.
