I would wholeheartedly recommend Advantage learning as a training advisor. Right from the day I decided to enquire about the PRINCE2 course I was treated to excellent customer service and advice. Following my booking the course material arrived the next day accompanied by emails recommending reading and a name of a tutor should I have any questions prior to the course.

Steven our trainer was extremely well versed in the subject and a fantastic teacher. There was always time to ask questions throughout this very intensive course and he made every effort to make sure no stone was left unturned - in fact if it wasn't for some of his analogies I would have forgotten vital parts of information for the first exam.

The venue was superb and the group was very well looked after throughout.

All in all, I can not recommend Advantage training enough and will return to them should I find myself looking to do further courses in this field of study.

I started this course not really knowing what to expect. Having ran small to medium projects in the past I felt that I needed to update my knowledge and skills if I wanted to succeed as a contract project manager. Many jobs require PRINCE2 nowadays so it was a logical choice to go on this course.
My week at the Novatel in Edinburgh was intense but very enjoyable. The entire PRINCE2 manual was covered as well as sitting both the foundation and practitioner exams. Our tutor, Steve, was excellent. His knowledge of PRINCE2 was vast to the point he could rattle of page after page verbatim from the manual if asked. He was a great help during the training and helped me pass both exams.
I felt a great sense of achievement completing this course and would recommend Advantage Learning to anyone else thinking of doing their PRINCE2 training.

I attended a Prince2 training course with Advantage learning in Feb 2015. The course was amongst the hardest things I have ever done. The subject is so dry and there is no much information to absorb, however, Steven Gardiner (the trainer), was so knowledgeable and cheery and everything a trainer should be, he managed to make it fun! I really cannot praise him highly enough. The arrangements around the training (room, food, documentation, pre-course work) were all as one would expect from a training company with Advantage Learning's reputation.

Friendly, approachable staff who explain not only the knowledge you need for the exam but also how you can adapt it to make it practical within your organization.

I did my first training with Advantage Learning in 2005, with a follow-on in 2008 and most recently a PRINCE2 re-accreditation which involved attending the whole 5 day course. I've had three different trainers, each of whom managed to bring the subject alive, which is no mean feat in itself. They held my interest and related the subject matter to real-world experience and, where appropriate, my own situation.

I feel the most recent experience is particularly significant as I could easily have ended up in a "same old, same old" mindset. No danger!
Initially self-funded during a period of unemployment, I used my initial accreditation to secure the employment I've held for the last seven years, during which I've introduced Advantage Learning to my organisation with all our Project Managers now attending their training.

I attended the 2 day practitioner re-registration course in February 2015. Steven was a great trainer and helped get me fully prepared and ready for the exam. I was worried the two day course wouldn't be enough but Steven wastes no time and gives individual feedback so you know what areas to study overnight. The facilities in the Edinburgh Novotel were excellent and I hope I can go back for a course with Advantage Learning in the future.

Excellent experience! The help I received to all my questions was timely and applicable. The staff went out of their way to help out.The course material was good foundation for passing the exams.
Made good use of the message boards for additional information and questions. Lots of additional information available there!

Prince 2 (5 Day) Foundation and Practitioner course.

The venue and facilities were excellent. The trainers (Steven) knowledge of the subject matter was exceptional bordering on obsessive, his approach was well structured, thorough and brought together all the elements very well.

Attended a PRINCE2 course from Advantage Learning Limited and was very impressed with the instructor`s knowledge and professionalism. There was a lot of material to cover in a short time but I felt well prepared and was successful on both the Foundation and Practitioner exams.

Would recommend this company to all my colleagues.

As someone who did not have a lot of experience in Project work this course really was perfect. The trainer was very professional and took time to deliver the course content (which is significant) and reflect on the experiences of other students which helped put things into context.

Overall a very worthwhile course, there was a lot of homework but this shouldn't put you off as the classroom work and instructor assists and really makes a difference. I have to say I thoroughly enjoyed it and would recommend it to others.

Got the certificates - job done. Beware ( as it says on the tin ) it's intensive and it does require pre work and evenings, but leaves a sense of accomplishment.

The PRINCE2 Practitioner course was easily one of the more intense certificatons I've taken in recent years. There was a great deal of material to get through in a short period of time.

Our instructor Victor Fashoro made the subject relate-able and easy to absorb. Victor is clearly very knowledgeable on the subject matter. There was never a single question that he had any difficultly fielding. Overall, it was a challenging but ultimately enjoyable experience that resulted in a successful completion of a new certification.

Victor's experience with the methodology means that, while teaching the curriculum, he can concentrate on the students and react to their issues. Adjusting perception as it is being formed makes for a better education experience.

He personalizes the work so it becomes your project. Tom is writing Product Descriptions and needs a derivation. So it is you looking at the participants and actions.

If you need an understanding of this complicated methodology this is the way to go.

Recently our organization used Advantage Learning to help our team get through PRINCE2 Recertification. Working with Advantage Learning is a breeze. They make it easy looking after all the details. Materials are there when planned, instructors are knowledgeable, personable and articulate. Certification or recertification can be a stressful time for busy professionals but the Advantage Learning team helps to put people's mind at ease by providing them with the information they need to learn and most importantly complete the course successfully. We were lucky to have Victor Fashoro as our instructor again. He was our instructor 5 years ago when we first certified. While Victor is a savvy instructor with a world of experience...he is also a super chap with a ton of stories. He infuses humour into most of his lessons and makes learning thoroughly enjoyable and memorable. I recommend Advantage Learning to any company that wants high quality learning.

The instructor was engaging and covered a lot of material without just rushing through it. There was a good level of interaction with students and the instructor was good at explaining the common mistakes made on both the exam and in the paratical application of the Prince2 methodology. This was my second experience with the instructor and I would highly recommend this company.

My instructor, Victor, was engaging and highly knowledgeable. Clearly an excellent PM himself, he was helpful beyond the academic.

The classes were well-paced and relaxed, the course materials exacting, and overall a fine preparation for the exam.

Prince2 is a first rate methodology made all the better by the instructor's knowledge, enthusiasm and energy. Thanks Victor for making the recertification course both useful and enjoyable!

This is a well respected qualification to have so I was keen to get it under my belt. I only did the foundation level (3 days) but it's pretty intense... Lots of jargon that I don't normally use in the work place (or anywhere for that matter!) so its a lot to get your head around in a short space of time. For heavens sake dont make things harder than they have to be - do all the reading you can before you start the course. I am a slow reader so I struggled to get the reading done in the evenings of the course. Really pleased to have passed and hope to return to do the practioner level.

The material and the test are difficult, fortunately our instructor Victor did an excellent job of teaching us the material, but more importantly he was able to impart the knowledge and understanding that was required to complete the final exam successfully. I would recommend this instructor and the company.
