I booked a joint flying lesson for my son's birthday and it was out of this world. Far beyond any expectations I had. Aaron the instructor was great, really friendly and a good instructional style. I enjoyed my time actually flying the plane but the best thing of all was my son's beaming face as he flew the aircraft over both land and sea making one of his dreams come true and taking his first step towards becoming a pilot in the future. Great views of the Blackpool shoreline along with all of the key landmarks. I would give this experience way more than 10/10 if that were at all possible. Thanks to Adventure001.

STAY CLEAR !! Booked a flight for 2 in November 2023,Upgraded to front seat costing another £35 on top ! First date cancelled by Adventure001 claiming operational issues. Booked again for Easter Sunday , they cancelled the night before. My son had took time of work unpaid to fit the flight in ! Put a review on social media to receive a phone call off one of the managers saying my information was incorrect and that he was going to answer my review. I was also told TO READ THE SMALL PRINT. I asked for a refund and he said that there had to be 3 cancellations before they would refund. He told me that he would personally get me some new dates ASAP ! I heard nothing for months ! After countless emails, chats I eventually got through on chat and again a promise that someone would get back to me. This week I got a message from a stranger who said she had seen my review and the same had happened to her. She advised me to get in touch with Virgin which I did. Once I told them my story I was offered a credit note and Adventur001 refunded me the upgrade fee ! It’s nearly 2 years since I paid £198 & my so lost wages ! Yes there are many good reviews but my advice READ ALL REVIEWS AND THE SMALL PRINT

Me and my wife had a 30min Stonehenge tour experience on Sunday 7th September,Fantastic,ground crew were great ,helpful &happy,the pilot was great and knowledgeable of the area we covered,all in all a great experience,Thank you Tony&Sonya.

I had a Fantastic time. Well organised by the friendly staff. I would totally recommend the flight over Salisbury Plain (Stonehenge) and the city itself, for a first Helicopter ride. Totally enjoyed the whole experience.

We had a fantastic time at the Birds of prey experience, Reily hosting was so informative and knowledgeable about the birds he had bought with him. Never thought we would be so close with such majestic birds. Would highly recommend this experience

Riley was very knowledgable and enthusiastic. The birds were well taken care of, and the experience and handling was great!

Everyone there from start to finish made us feel safe. Kept us informed about the flight even the pilot was great.

HELICOPTER RIDE!!!!!!

The ride was great. All staff were kind and friendly, during check in to the safety briefing. The captain was also very friendly and knowledgeable. The ride itself was very smooth including take off and landing. We also got some lovely photos with the proceeds going to air ambulance charities. All round great day and a great team, keep it up guys!!

What a lovely way to spend a Sunny September morning, meeting six birds of prey with the extremely knowledgeable Reilly. He really knows his birds!
Having great weather really made this experience even better. We really enjoyed holding the birds and learning so much about them. Thank you Reilly and the Birds of course!

My son and I got this gift of a helicopter ride for a Christmas present. We both thoroughly enjoyed it and we are looking forward to booking again for a longer flight. I would highly recommend this experience.

We were booked to travel on the 31st of Aug 2025 at 10:45 train. On a very short notice Keith, Robert and rest of the team organised a surprise birthday party for my wife with balloon's and banners. We very much enjoyed their friendly and welcoming hospitality. Thank you Keith, Robert and rest of the team for making this a memorable day. Keep up the good work specially knowing that this whole operation is run by volunteers.

The flying experience was 100%. Brilliant!!.the tutor was very friendly n helpful...made me feel at ease

Our 13-year-old had an amazing time at his flying lesson with Adventure Experience 001 at Wolverhampton Halfpenny Green Airport! The whole process on the day was smooth, from arrival to take-off, and everything was really well organised.

A huge thank you to his instructor, Nick, who was absolutely fantastic — patient, knowledgeable, and brilliant at making the experience both fun and educational. Our son thoroughly enjoyed every moment, and he hasn’t stopped talking about it since!

This was such a memorable day and a unique opportunity. We would definitely recommend Adventure Experience 001 to anyone looking for something special.

I was give a falconry experience at World of Wings for Father’s Day. It was a fantastic day and really informative. It was very obvious the staffs love for the birds and that they loved the job they were doing. I would highly recommend a visit.

Our helicopter experience was exceptional from start to finish. The staff were excellent.
Oscar was informative throughout the flight.
Highly recommended.

My partner and I both thoroughly enjoyed our experience, the handler was really knowledgeable and kept us all entertained over the 3 hours we were there. The birds were beautiful and we were able to hold each one in turn, a wonderful day out, we would recommend taking a chair as it can be a long time on your feet.

On arrival was told boys couldn't fly without and adult if under 14 and that I'd have to pay £50 to go with them. was guided to see this info under 'frequently asked questions'. Was told it was against the law. Luckily I was able to show their booking paperwork that stated only under age 12 had to have an adult. Had to do some serious negotiation in front of the waiting crowd (flight was delayed by nearly an hour so lots waiting).
After flight they were guided to wait by a table and a photo put in their hands then asked to pay £15. Just felt like they were trying to squeeze out more money at every turn especially after several emails asking if we wanted to upgrade to longer flight / front seat / extra person / sooner flight. Had to wait from Xmas til Sept to get flight. Flight was good though. Scammy upselling.

This was a birthday present bought for me in April 2024, which we finally managed to redeem in June 2025. It was our choosing to book the flight for the following year but also it proved difficult to finalise arrangements due to the fact that three organisations were involved and there did not seem to be a great deal of co-ordination.
I would say that the staff we dealt with were always helpful but it just seemed beset with problems. When we finally had the flight, it was a memorable experience; everything went smoothly on the day, the staff were great, the pilot very informative and the views over the Forth were stunning.
There were times I didn't think it would ever happen but I'm delighted it did. Truly memorable

Sunday afternoon sparkling cream tea on the princess risborough, what's not to like! The whole experience was lovely, the American engine was beautiful, fine china dining with gorgeous scones and perfect tea. The volunteers were so good, informative, friendly, so knowledgeable and really made a difference. Loved it!

Cancelled my flight and won't refund and there's no dates available , they answered a call and said it can be April the following year onwards . Which I'm not happy to wait 8months for of they were to cancel again. Did anyone manage to get a refund and how?
