Can't reach real people on certain security matters on weekends
I found one of their Visa Debit cards in a local shopping center parking lot a few weekends ago. I called both phone numbers on the back, as I wanted to alert them so they could alert the cardholder. (I could leave it at a store for them, or arrange for them to get it, or at least alleviate their concerns over a lost card) Of course, I did not know the cardholder's PIN or SSN or zip code, and I could not get through to a real person at all to explain the situation. I expect their cardholder was stressed out.
On Monday, I did reach someone who assured me they'd contact the cardholder, and then promised me they'd call me back either way with instructions on if and how to return the card, or to destroy it. But they never called back.
It is lousy that their card security does not provide a real person on weekends in situations like this.
