Horrendous payment provider

Horrendous payment provider

It processes a payment only once every ten times. It's always a gamble to see if the payment goes through when processed by Adyen. Every time a website has Adyen as a payment provider I feel like ordering elsewhere or, when they give the option, I just select PayPal.
Just today Adyen got stuck on a spinning blue wheel forever not progressing nor terminating the payment.

Verified is a joke for payment!

They are the worst I've been dealing with VINTED & ADYEN since 5/2022. Had no problems until 3/16/23 when they put a hold on my walet after seeing i completed 9 orders started holing my money in pending (hostage) stating I sold over 1,000 ina year and have not been verified. What??? NOT even been a year n no way over 1,000. If wasnt verified how have I been getting paid.?? No way to try to fix because only bots work for ViNted & Adyen. How can I get verified when after uploading id 400x all it does is fail. I want this done to quit vinted ; adyen 4 ever. Stay away from both rob you of your money and we need a good lawyer for a global class action against both horrible companies. Don't trust these ppl. They are the worst ever negative star if I could. Crs is a joke 4 both fake companies. Global theft is what they are n do!!

If you grow too large

If you grow too large, customer service geht's ripped apart. Terrible experience. Actually I don't even have a contract with them, but my contractor is working with them.
However it sucks to waste time with automated systems (ID recognition). Scale it, ok, but do not mess up.

AVOID!

AVOID! My small business purchases products from one of the largest companies in the world, sadly they use Adyen for their payment processor and we continuously have issues with Adyen blocking our transaction. Customer service doesn’t exist, no email, no phone number, no live text support. If you can use a different payment processor, do that.

There is no way to contact them

There is no way to contact them. All phone numbers 'have changed' and cannot be found on the website. The support email gets an auto reply with, you are not a merchant so we cannot help you.

Point is that I am not a merchant but IDEAL payments go automatically through them. I try to figure out to which IBAN my money went, and the lookup tool only says 'Wise'.

I have to do the tax reporting and I cannot figure out where a payment went.

In short, they block any form of human contact possible.

Your Unholy Alliance with Tide

I am a Tide User that was introduced to a Payment Link facility that is Powered by Adyen N.v. It is unfortunate the £19000.00 transactions that were put through the system since the 20th of January are still outstanding.

Tide has refused to release the funds and there is no facility to refund the client the funds.They have been looking for every reason in the world to hold my £19,000.00, that is the proceeds of providing Services to a UK registered company. Each time they use the FCA Regulations as an excuse, just like they are the only Financial Service Company in United Kingdom to have ever relied on it.

1. They have asked for client and transaction information, maybe attempting to confirm the transaction was approved by client and I sent them.

2. They asked for information about my business, online presence, adverts and how I reach out to clients, and I sent more than they required. I even sent them strategy and tax planning communications between me and my Legal and Tax advisers to try to show to them our need and potential use of the account.

3. They asked for information on 5 or 6 personal transactions, in and out of my account totalling less than £350, one of them is a reoccurring transaction. One was a gift to a local Charity and two gifts to individuals. They queried these transactions like they are suspicious believing I will not provide information about these transactions. I have demonstrated relationship with these individuals and entities. I even had to use screenshots of my online Banking Faster Payment Screen from my personal account to show they were not new, some of these relationships go back nearly 30 years.

4. All in this the 4 business transactions we have done this month alone using the payment link, after they informed us of our eligibility is £20,320 averaging £5,080 per transaction. They are withholding £19,000.00 of this and a new month starting today with our direct debits and bill all rapidly falling due from Insurances to Road Tax and other bills, yet they are holding our funds with absolutely no justification to do so, whilst doing all they can to frustrate the business.

There are thousands of negative reviews about the operations of Tide, we have become a victim of the same and are now seeking legal redress. I am informing you because we name you in the Court Action because they have used your platform to effect the transaction. We need to bring this SAGA to an end.

Total robbers of the digital world of payments

Total robbers of the online world. I was an eBay seller with outstanding feedbacks and response time but they still penalized me by having every transactions on hold without prior notification nor explanation. Since their use on ebay managed payments they have ebay seller life a "hell". Their customer service staff is not response nor cooperative to assist you when your funds get taken while they "investigate" for months since sale on ebay platform while you wait your business to slowly die they make money on you. I wish I could give them "negative" stars because they shouldn't be allowed to operate due their bad practices and unhelpful staff service.

Further to my review of February 2022…

Further to my review of February 2022 Adyen replied saying they would get back to me within 8 hours. Guess what? - 11 months later I'm still waiting. I was scammed into using a fake Adyen scheme even though I checked with Adyen and was told it was all above board. Don't bother trying to contact their 'support team'.

Impossible to signup, getting no response at all

Tried to sign up on their website multiple times. Always just got an automated response within seconds that claims that my business wouldn't meet their criteria. However, none of the 3 criteria listed in that email match my business.

So I followed the link that is provided in case I think there was an error. Provided my data again on that form but got no response (it's been 2 weeks now).

Tried to email them several times asking why they would reject my software business. No response again.

Enough seen. I'm not going to beg them to take my money. I was about to process several million $ annually through their platform.

A Company with NO Effective Customer Support

I have been receiving deposits to my bank account listed as being from Adyen with no further details. Though I have an idea where the deposits are coming from as I manage several websites with affiliate links, I found the Adyen website and its support team nothing short of pathetic. I followed links in endless circles with no answers, and even the email "response" was canned with more useless links.

They don't even deserve a one star review.

Adyen and it's "Anti-Fraud-System"

Adyen is having a anti-fraud-system which goes preventive against credit card fraud. I have no idea how this artificial intelligence works, but it's totally FAULTY!

I have to PRAY every time, until the transaction will work successfully without any "unknown error"-messages. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't. That's so non-sense.

Honetly: This doesn't make fun to pay anywhere online.

the instant digital era where

In the digital era where instant money transfer is standard it appears that Adyen’s systems shut down on weekends and holidays and operate at a glacial pace on weekdays. Of course it may just be part of the conspiracy with ebay to delay payments to sellers. The move from using PayPal to Adyen benefits no one but Ebay. If I could choose not to use them or Adyen I would…..instantly.

As a partner, it is impossible to contact Adyen for support on integrations. Only do emails, no phone support, no information.

Takes weeks to resolve anything, definitely the one of the worst providers, regret choosing these as a partner

Problem solved!

I needed support for another currency to be added. I'm using the terminal API and got the NOT_ALLOWED response. Everything works perfectly now and in case it wouldn't have after the last change from the support team, there would have been a zoom call so the team is really helpful and dedicated. Thanks again.

Support has always been terrible - Assuming liquidity issues

Support has always been terrible. I asked them to send me the invoice for the terminal twice over e-mails to their support team and was ignored. Another month later they threatened to send me to collections for non payment of the invoice.
Recently they have missed 2 batch payments to me of monies that were transacted in my shop within a week. When I read the news it seems their share price took a 15% hit two weeks prior. What other conclusion can I come to other than that are having major liquidity issues.

They used to offer customer support but over the last two years they have become impossible to deal with.
