Contacted this company for a quote for internal wall insulation. They sent a surveyor out.
Chased them multiple times via email and calls, each time told someone would get back to me, which they never did.
Very poor customer service, if they didn't want the work they should of just said so.
Avoid.

Did finally come through, but shoddy work and extremely slow

Started the process in January for the eco4 grant, must have had 3 different people turning up to do surveys, then never heard anything back until end of march, not because they told me they were coming, but because scaffolding just turned up on my house. Tried contacting the company relentlessly to find out when the work was being carried out, didn't hear anything again until mid-late April when again the roofers randomly turned up, then loads of insulation and bits were delivered. Then a sparky turned up (which to be fair, they we're the only decent part of the whole process) over the rest of the month. Anyway to cut a long story short, the work was shoddy at best, I've still got broken slate on my roof which still hasn't been repaired, and the scaffolding is still up, taking half of my drive. If I knew how this process would play out before I signed up would I do so again? Probably yes, but not because the company was good, but more because I've now got solar, new heaters and other work, all government paid for. But if there were other options out there, I'd certainly try them first.

Hi Carl .Unfortunately you have not given us an address to investigate this further. However with Government funded work the survey process is crucial to the project and is required to be in depth. Over the last 6 months there have been many changes to the Ofgem requirements and this sometimes necessitates a further visit from the surveyor. In respect of the scaffolding we have to use 3rd part independent contractors for that and they are normally very efficient. we are not sure what has happened on this occasion but if you would drop us an email with your full property address we will surely look in to the matters you have raised

Absolutely appalling

Absolutely appalling. They arranged for my eco 4 heating to be installed. After it was installed I made numerous complaints about
- the previous heating system dumped outside with promise of removal, it's still there almost 3 months later.
- heating engineer said 'I've forgotten the carbon dioxide monitor for the top of the boiler, you can get one off amazon'
- a leak in the boiler that still hasn't been resolved.
- floor boards left with holes in them amd covered up with the carpet, we're unable to walk on parts of the landing!
- warranty hasn't come through for the boiler.
I have been so stressed over this with no help from them whats so ever.

Awful communication they got me to sign up for the gov scheme and then nothing. Wrote four emails and left messages but no response whatsoever so ever. Feels more like a scam so going to my local amp and council to complain.
Disgusting to treat people like this

hi Please share you address with us and we will look in to the points raised. we can assure you that there is no scam but the eligibility requirement for government funded work is quite strict and so not everybody who applies will become eligible and or the funding available is not always sufficient to justify the project unless a customer is willing to make a contribution. However it is our company policy to always keep all applicants fully informed .

Top job

I encountered AEG Construction LTD when I made my first application for government grant work. From the start the team were able to pass over all the information that I needed about the grant and all the relevant documents necessary to prove there accreditation. The installers for the job behaved in a calm, collected and professional way and were happy to help with any of my queries and requests. Altogether the process was smooth and efficient with little to no hiccups along the way, I was very satisfied with the job at hand and the customer care that was present throughout. Top job AEG
