Product not fit for purpose - AVOID

Product was faulty from the outset, and poorly supported. One of the components (the buzzy) has now failed completely. There are two support channels - email and a WhatsApp number - and neither generate any response. The application is unstable and disconnects regularly from the peripherals.

For Jason Cosme to sell a product that claims to assist people who need significant support in a time of need, this level of unreliability and complete absence of support is unacceptable. It is not just poor quality - it is irresponsible.

This is not fit for purpose, and I would strongly caution anyone against relying on it for anything important.

Terrible product and service

Terrible experience. Product was slow to arrive, failed to work out of the box, and the company was suddenly responsive after purchase. The terms and conditions on the site are heavily slanted in favour of the company taking no liability for issues, and ignore Australian consumer protections!
Future buyers need to be aware of what they could be getting themselves into.

Broken and non-functioning equipment and absolutely NO customer service.

Terrible company, service, and non-functioning equipment. My order was delayed 2 months then arrived with an unglued light wand. The audio headphones have NEVER worked, and the buzzies stopped working after 1 use. Since December 2025 I have persisted writing to this company via email, then using their recommended WhatsApp site, and still NO RESPONSE, EVER.

Ghosted by this company

Ghosted by this company. Reporting them to Fair Trading NSW did not help. They are still operating and taking money from people. The review I posted on their website was deleted.

Unreliable product and very poor customer support

I purchased this for around $950 after being advised it would be delivered quickly and was suitable for clinical/therapeutic use.
Shipping was significantly delayed (nearly two months!), and communication throughout was poor and inconsistent. When I contacted the company to ask them to assist with their courier, responsibility was shifted onto me despite the courier being engaged by them.
When the product finally arrived, it was damaged (light bar broken). More importantly, it did not work reliably as advertised — the Bluetooth buzzers and headphones repeatedly disconnected during sessions, making it unsuitable for clinical use and disruptive to client treatment.
After much hassle, the company finally refunded the product cost, but I had to pay over $50 to return it. Despite emailing three times with receipts, I have received no response or reimbursement for the return postage after more than a month.
Overall, very disappointing experience for a premium product marketed to professionals. Delays, faulty equipment, and lack of after-sales support caused significant time loss and disruption to my clinical work. I wish I saw this Trust Pilot reviews before as seems so many have had the exact same experience as me. A dud product - do not buy.

Completely unsatisfied with this…

Completely unsatisfied with this purchase. The build quality of the wired kit seemed DIY for how much money was spent on it.
Temperamental app that wouldn’t control the light bar despite saying it had connected.
Company was reluctant to give back my money, and their refund policy has clauses that are contrary to Australian law!
Go elsewhere and save yourself the headache.

Faulty Equipment, Blame-Shifting Support, Total Waste of Money and Time, Refund Still Pending

I purchased an AEMDRA EMDR kit and the entire experience has been a mess from start to finish. For almost $900, I expected a system that worked. Instead, after waiting 11 weeks between order and delivery (09/07/2025 and 22/09/2025), I received faulty equipment, incorrect components, and support that shifted blame rather than solved problems.

The unit passed a basic test on arrival, but completely failed during clinical use. The app showed everything “running” while the hardware didn’t respond. Beeps continued after the cycle ended, buzzers didn’t activate, and none of this matched what the app displayed.

Support was no better. I was told to send a WhatsApp video but wasn’t given the number. My requests for clarification went unanswered. I was also accused of user error multiple times, including claims I’d contacted engineers through a business chat I never used. Their internal confusion only added to the frustration.

A “pre-shipping inspection” still resulted in them sending the wrong headphones. Their R&D claims fell apart when the setup manual they told me to follow didn’t even exist in the app until an overnight update — and after all that, AEMDRA admitted the hardware sent to me was wrong in the first place.

After speaking with a colleague who had similar failures and was ultimately refunded after AEMDRA admitted fault, it’s clear my situation isn’t an outlier. The problems are systemic, and the default response appears to be blaming the user instead of acknowledging that the equipment doesn’t perform as advertised.

This system wasted my time, disrupted client work, and never functioned as a reliable EMDR tool. I cannot recommend this product or this company to any clinician.

Aemdra Changed My Practice

I’ve tried a lot of EMDR equipment – but nothing compares to Australian EMDR equipment. Their app is so easy to use and all my equipment seamlessly connected with one click of a button! superior in every sense compared to what I have used before.

I had an issue with shipping and they got on it straight away and had my equipment delivered within in 9 days!

The tappers easily fits into a compact bag, yet doesn’t compromise on power or functionality.

What truly sets this product apart is the support behind it. From pre-purchase questions to ongoing usage, the customer service team has been exceptional.

Im so happy with my next generation wireless EMDR kit! Could not recommend enough!

Prompt delivery and great service

Prompt delivery. Arrived within two weeks. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the product. The battery life is really good. Better than what I'd used previously. Solid customer service. Great to support an Aussie company.

Fantastic product and service from this Australian company.

I am thrilled with the convenience of my new AEMDRA wireless kit. Setting up with the AMEDRA app was super easy - I connected the lightbar, buzzies and audio in a matter of seconds with very few steps involved. The battery life of the buzzies is so impressive - I was able to conduct four back to back EMDR sessions without charging it the night before. And when I do charge it, it is super quick (less than an hour).

The buzzies are lightweight and so easy to transport with their sleek case. The light bar is also super lightweight and just looks so nice in my office. I even took a photo of my setup because I thought it looked so good haha.

Delivery was quick (9 business days with free shipping) and the overall customer experience was lovely, with them answering all my questions quickly and keeping me updated throughout the process.

I couldn't recommend this company more - not only is it nice to support an Australian company, but the experience was so pleasant and the product is outstanding.

I never received my product

I never received my product. When I alerted the organisation via text and email that my products had not been sent the responses were strange such as please let us start work 9am EAST before sending a text or please don’t send multiple emails as we consider it spam…and then not answer my question about the products in question…, I am waiting on a refund..,

Faulty product, delayed shipping and concerning customer service

Warning from my personal experience as a verified customer: I strongly recommend using caution before purchasing from AEMDRA.

I ordered from AEMDRA on 22 June with express shipping (advertised as 1–4 business days). The parcel wasn’t created until 25 June, was only picked up on 1 July, and arrived 10 July, a total of 18 days, far outside the express timeframe shown at checkout.

When the product arrived, it was faulty, but it took an extended process before this was acknowledged. I was asked to send multiple troubleshooting videos via WhatsApp, and I had to pay return shipping to send the unit back to NSW for inspection. This cost was never reimbursed. Only after this was the fault finally accepted.

The refund process was the most troubling part of my experience. I requested a full refund of $914, including shipping, consistent with Australian Consumer Law and AEMDRA’s own website at the time of purchase. Instead, I was told that Afterpay fees and other costs would be deducted, even though these deductions were not stated on the website when I placed my order, and Afterpay’s Merchant Agreement specifies that customers should not be charged merchant fees for refunds.

During this time, I noticed that AEMDRA’s Terms & Conditions appeared to have been updated after my purchase, and these newer terms were then referenced in emails about my refund. Earlier versions I had archived did not contain the same wording.

I also received multiple emails stating that a full refund would only be provided if I deleted my (then) 2-star Trustpilot review and agreed not to post any future reviews, including requests to “send proof and agree.” Other emails described my concerns as “false claims” or “blatant attacks” and warned that my comments could constitute defamation and “potentially lead to legal action.” This tone was extremely distressing given that I was simply trying to resolve a faulty product refund.

After considerable effort and escalation, I did eventually receive the full refund of $914, which I acknowledge.

For context only, after returning the faulty product I purchased a replacement from another EMDR equipment supplier (EMDRKit). That order arrived within 4 days and I have had no issues with the product or customer service. This highlighted how unusual and difficult my experience with AEMDRA had been.

This review reflects my personal experience based on the emails, screenshots, and archived pages I kept.

I strongly encourage customers to pay close attention to verified reviews before purchasing.

Amazing product

Amazing product, great to be able to support Australian made emdr equipment. The service offered is excellent, I had an issue with an equipment piece and it was handle with professionalism and the utmost speed.
The new cordless light bar is fantastic!!!
