Lightweight unsteady urn with no locking lid
Lightweight urn with no locking lid. Led to difficult conversation with Funeral home about the need to put my father in law in a bag in the urn because otherwise as it wasn't 100% stable it could easily spill if knocked. Use of a bag meant less space in the urn which meant we had to buy an additional scatter tube for the ashes. Horrible experience.

You ordered this urn 3 days before you needed it and we provided it to you promptly and in perfect condition. I am disappointed that you posted this review without contacting us for assistance and I feel that your review does not give an accurate representation of the product and service provided to you. I note that four out of the seven reviews you have posted on TrustPilot are for one star. In our correspondence since the review, we have offered to refund you but, despite what you said in your review, you have decided that you want to keep this urn.
Regarding the issues you have mentioned:
1. Light weight.You choose an urn made of bamboo. It is not flimsy, or liable to tip over, but it is certainly lighter than our other urns. That's bamboo - it is a light material. However, the urn is completely stable and is certainly not going to move or tip over, especially once the ashes are inside.
2. The lid. It is normal for top-opening urns to have a separate lid. The lid of this urn fits down snugly into the neck of the urn, so it doesn't wobble or fall off, but it can be removed if desired. Some people like to seal the top with adhesive, but many are content to leave it unglued. No-one else has ever complained about it.
3. Volume. In common with all urn suppliers, we provide urns in standard 3 litre and 4 litre sizes (though ours are more beautiful). Either size is usually sufficient for an adult's ashes, though we advise customers that a three-litre urn might, rarely, not always accommodate all the ashes of a larger person. It is usual to insert the bag of ashes received from the crematorium directly into the urn, and the bags usually fit easily into a three-litre urn. The bag itself occupies a minute proportion of the urn's volume. If the bag does not fit (which is very rare), we are happy to exchange the urn for a 4 litre one or refund you in full if you prefer.

I recently lost my beautiful precious…
I recently lost my beautiful precious daughter, on 27th February, 2023, she was a young successful solicitor when she was taken by undiagnosed cancer. Our family were stunned and lost, my daughter's wishes were to "come home in a pretty little vase" I made contact with this company, they were so compassionate for my needs and I purchased a beautiful heart shaped urn. It was made and shipped with love and care within a couple of days. My daughter is now home in her "pretty little vase" where she belongs, a million thanks.

Unique like the occupant
