Big scam company. Rented dumpster for a week. They didn't pick it up for 5, and then charged me for those days. Three weeks later they charged me an additional $233.00. Told me it was for being over weight. I have rented many dumpsters before. I have never been charged for weight.
Stay far away from this company.

This company is the absolute worse company i have ever worked with . I would advise people to stay away from this awful company . They have a lot of nerve to be in business and treat people like they do , shame on you . 179 complaints in the past 3 years that should tell it all . Absolute worse company and should not even be in business . PLEASE BEWARE

If I would be able to give zero stars I would. This company will nickel and dime you to death! I also called for a SWAP out and they came and picked up the dumpster, dumped it and returned it almost 4 houses later! at a cost of $125.00 per hour for 4 guys to sit, I should charge them $500.00! But instead I get a "unpick up trip fee" when I did not call for the dumpster to be picked up! DO NOT MAKE THE MISTAKE I MADE! Go with another company!

They are an out of state dumpster broker, they are not the dumpster company. They promise to deliver dumpster before noon, I had cleanout crew waiting around for hours before it was delivered, costing me hundreds of dollars for them to stand around. When you call them to see where the dumpster is, they will gas light and say they never said that, then hide behind their contract. They have a long track record scamming people and lying. Look at all these negative reviews, same issues. I gave reported them to the attorney general and bbb. I suggest everyone do the same to shut these girl scam artists down.

Very shady company. Will charge you extra without proof. They will lie to you to get more money. You can't trust anyone thee days. Pretty bad when you have to rip people off just to make a living. Pathetic.

I tore my meniscus and had to cancel my dumpster... They didn't have to do anything nor did they do anything except keep the $100 deposit! I should have checked reviews first. I love giving Ben Franklins away! BS!

First of all they can never give you an “exact” time that your rental will be delivered or picked up. It will be “sometime” today.
I left a voicemail on a Sunday when I needed them to pick up the dumpster. I waited Monday to get a text or phone call that they got my voicemail to schedule my P/U. No one ever called so I called them and they didn’t even know that I left a voicemail. So the P/U was scheduled he said. I said “when”, he said 1-3 business days. I called again on Wednesday asking when the dumpster would be picked up and a lady on the phone said “you are on schedule for today before 6:00PM. I told her that I have 4 tons of rock being delivered in my driveway on Thursday before noon so they need to get it picked up. No deliver by 6:00PM on Wednesday. I called Thursday as I was getting a call from the landscaping people to drop off the rock. She said she had no notes that my dumpster was to be picked up by 6:00PM on Wednesday…how convenient. She says my window was 1:00 to 4:00. I told her that would not work because I have rock coming at noon, which I put them off until 1:00 now. She said there was no guarantee of 1:00, if even that will happen. If my rock has to be re-delivered I will be charged a fee of $125 and she didn’t care.
I will never use this company again because they seem very unorganized and obviously have no scheduling in place, let alone consistent communication.

I ordered a dumpster for delivery a week ago. Told them address, verified address was in area for delivery, and then called 2 days ago to verify again. Called today expecting delivery only to be told not in the area. Nevermind they told me there was a dumpster in the area. This is unacceptable. They weren't even going to communicate this to me. They were just going to not show up. I'm trying to move and needed this dumpster to move out. Really needing this dumpster, but this company is a failure. Do not rely on this company to deliver or communicate.

I cannot recommend this company and strongly encourage anyone needing a dumpster rental to consider a local provider instead. Save yourself the frustration and aggravation.

My dumpster was originally scheduled for delivery on Tuesday. After waiting all day, I contacted customer service around 3:30 p.m., spent time on hold, and was first told that my delivery was still scheduled for that day. I was later informed that they could not make the promised delivery and that it would instead arrive the following morning. The dumpster was delivered on Wednesday at approximately 9:00 a.m.

The bigger issue is that I paid for a three-day rental, with delivery on June 24 and pickup scheduled for June 26. Instead, the dumpster was removed on June 25 at approximately 2:30 p.m., giving me less than 30 hours of use for a service that was contracted for three full days. Customer service claimed this was because the City of Chicago permit expired at midnight on June 25. To verify that information, I contacted my local alderman's office and was informed that the permit actually expired at 11:59 p.m. on June 26.

To be fair, Kevin in customer service was polite and genuinely tried to help. After the dumpster was removed, he initially offered to have the driver return for a 30-minute live dump so I could finish loading debris from my property. When I explained that this was not what I paid for and was not an acceptable solution, he increased the offer to one hour. While I appreciate his efforts, that still was not the contract I agreed to.

Ultimately, the company issued a $50 credit, which represented the value of the lost rental day. I appreciate that they eventually corrected the billing, but it did not make up for the inconvenience, time spent on hold, and frustration of having to fight for the service I had already paid for.

In the end, I paid for three days and received less than 30 hours of actual use. Although the issue was partially resolved with a $50 refund, the overall experience was disappointing. Save yourself the frustration and aggravation and consider working with a local company that offers reliable service, better communication, and greater accountability.

Affordable dumpster for Arvada, Co is not a company I will ever work with again. I called many times to get specific information about what materials I would be throwing away. They are vague about how much you can put into the dumpster but charged me $500 over my quoted amount of $389. Do not rent from this company. You don’t even get a dumpster from them. It will be a partner company. My friend rented a dumpster from the main trash company Republic and paid half the cost of what I paid for a 20 yard. When I only got a 10 yard. Beware!! Move on and don’t work with this company. There are so many other options out there.

This company has the most horrible customer service employees that are dismissive and calculating. I scheduled a pick up; either I am being put off or they are attempting to charge me more than expected. They charged my card the entire cost on the first day of my contract when a deposit was expected and told me they had access to my card to do so. Be careful of people looking to scam older people like me.

Horrible service! First they pushed out my drop off by five days. Totally screwed my plans. I scheduled a one week service. As compensation for the late delivery they gave me an extra day of use. Which was useless for me. As for pick up. It was not picked up for the scheduled time. I contacted WM who delivered the dumpster and they told me that it’s not scheduled to be picked up for another 9 days! This is totally unacceptable. They never mentioned to me that it would be over two weeks from drop off to pick up. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DANGER!!! Please be smart and look for another company to rent from! This company is a total nightmare!! Once they get your credit card information, they go on a spending spree at your expense!! Don’t trust them with your business! Notice the pattern! They don’t even attempt to address negative reviews! Just be smart, and keep looking!

DO NOT USE this company!! Horrible! They cannot and don’t care to give you a delivery time! Nothing is confirmed! Fraudulent charges for over weight that did not happen! Terrible customer service! Third party broker! They guarantee nothing and sneak charge for everything! This company is a total scam! Please do not fall victim to this fraudulent company!

They charged me an extra 10 days I didn't have the dumpster. They charged me extra for weight 1 how am supposed to how much it weighs 2 it rained heavy for a few days so what I paid extra for rain!! 3 They didn't charge me for weight until 2 weeks after they picked it up!!

If I could leave zero stars, I would. These people are unbelievably scammy. When I first booked my dumpster I had a long conversation with the representative about booking the right size dumpster to fit my driveway. I was told if there were obstructions that made it impossible to deliver the dumpster we would be charged a fee. Ok, fine. The day they came to deliver the dumpster they alleged they couldn’t fit it in my driveway and provided photos. You can see from the photos attached that there is enough room for the dumpster, that it wouldn’t “stick out” and can fit in the confines of my driveway. Additionally they didn’t even tell me on the day of delivery that they were not leaving the dumpster so I waited around all day…the customer rep I spoke to the next day was completely lacking in empathy and offered no resolution, I am disputing with my credit card company and the photos show that there was room for the dumpster so I’m confident I will get my money back but they have created a huge headache for me.

Absolute worst experience …will never rent with them again !

I posted a review yesterday. Affordable Dumpster Rental has had two people call me today. They are reading from the same script. I am not sure why they think they can keep calling me to convince me that they are entitled to $250 for providing me nothing. I believe that this company deserves a class action lawsuit. I will be looking into ways to get everyone their money back.

This company is a fraud. They charged me $480 for a 30 square box and I filled it with junk from my parents' house, like small tables a couple twin mattresses, some boxes and boxes of papers and vhs and cassette tapes and old binders and folders and just junk. So then they tell me that this 1/2 full dumpster weighed over 8,000 lbs and charged me another $664. Scam! Scam! Fraud... do not use this company! do not!
