I placed an order on the 30th October which was subsequently cancelled by them and I still haven't received a refund.

Ordered a mirrored radiator which they said was in stock, however having chased delivery we found the radiator was out of stock. Requested a refund which was confirmed but still waiting!

Detail:
Ordered the radiator on the 4th of December. Delivery organised for the 13th of December. Recieved an email from Affordable Rads on the 12th informing radiator was discontinued and no longer available. Cancelled the order on the same day as we managed to source the same radiator from another supplier. Had confirmation on the 18th of December of the cancellation and that a refund would be issued on or before the 27th of December. Have emailed customer services, they do not reply. Still no refund!

I ordered 3 reina column radiators, promised next day delivery but took 2 weeks and then delivered on the wrong day - then it gets worse. I requested two be replaced as arrived badly damaged absolutely terrible customer service, no response from them after they rejected my initial claim with in 20 minutes. Currently pursuing section 75 claim to get refund via credit card provider. Ordered replacements from just radiators - came next day, packed much better and humans to talk to if you need to

Avoid affordable rads and their other trading names at all cost!

Update as of 5th January - its seems public opinion matters so they have just got back in touch, i’ll update the review if they follow through with the refund now promised

Cannot fault these guys they were very helpful and got my radiators to me on-time, did not have any issues at all, overall a great experience!

Cancelled an order 7/12/23 as the 'next day delivery' was clearly not true, (You only find this out once you've placed order, and paid for your rad). Promised a refund by 21/12/23, Still waiting! No possible way of contacting to find anything out, chat doesn't work. Award winning website my A***!!!

I ordered supplies for my bathroom from Affordable Rads - now, their supplies may be affordable but their customer service sure isn't rad!

I needed some stuff for my new bathroom. Affordable Rads were cheaper than competitors and also promised next day delivery. I thought I was onto a winner. If only I'd read the Trust pilot reviews beforehand.

Alarm Bell one: I first became alarmed when the website seemingly wouldn't allow me to pay with my debit / credit card, instead only allowing me to pay though Klarna. This seemed a strange protocol.

Alarm Bell two: After buying the items I received a text message asking me to book a date for the items to be delivered. None of the suggested dates were next day, as advertised. The earliest delivery date was more than seven days from purchase. At this point, my spidey-senses were tingling and I had a hunch that I was being swindled. I wasn't confident that the item would arrive in time, and so thankfully ordered a similar item from elsewhere.

Alarm Bell three: Now, can you imagine my surprise when the day before I was due to take delivery of the item I received an email from 'Anthony' informing me the item was out of stock.

Alarm Bell four: I tried contacting Affordable Rads on their Live Chat, which was always offline, and so instead requested a refund via email. I had no response. I emailed twice more (and raised several requests for a call on their 'Live Chat' service) and still received no response. I eventually received an email from Affordable Rads more than a week after requesting a refund. I was given 'personal assurances' that a refund would be issued within nine days. Perhaps I was wrong to have doubted Affordable Rads. Was there light at the end of the tunnel? (I know, I know).

Alarm Bell five: Nine days later, and all hopes were dashed when my the refund wasn't issued. I emailed Affordable Rads several times (and also raised a dispute with Klarna) before the refund was paid into my account, some 27 days after Affordable Rads' 'personal assurances' that my refund would be issued.

All in all, an awful experience. I'd suggest avoiding this company.

I placed an order four weeks ago, the lead time was 6 to 8 weeks , A knock at the door and my radiator was delivered today! Two weeks early!!! Very happy indeed….

Radiators arrived very fast and look fantastic! Well worth the money. Cheers

Still awaiting my refund, I purchased this radiator as it said next day delivery, I was then sent an email to book a delivery date which was for a week later as this was the earliest date available, the day before my expected delivery I was emailed advising the radiator was out of stock. I contacted the company through live chat as I had no responses to any of my email's, i managed to get a refund processed and email confirmation. Advised this could take up to 12 days, 14 days later no refund and i cannot chat to anyone on live chat as no one available, i have
been trying for two days. Totally frustrated!

Worst company I’ve dealt with. Fraudulent, liars & impossible to contact for refunds and cancellation. Please don’t make the same mistake I did, I guarantee you’ll regret it

left feeling totally frustrated. placed an order, which was late when I had a plumber booked in and awaiting g the goods. They offered me a credit, which never arrived in my account, I sent half the goods back as they advised would fit and didn't. 3 weeks later and Still awaiting the credit for late delivery AND the refund for the part sent back with their courier. are they a legitimate company????? can't get hold of anyone noe get a response to all the emails iv sent!!!

Not given correct product information. Sold items that were out of stock. No phone number so cannot contact. Payment systems problematic had to open a Klarna account because they automictically keep your credit card details if you want to pay by card. On line chat doesn't have enough agents waiting over an hour for query to be answered. Goods not turning up when promised.

DO NOT ORDER from this company, a complete scam. Ordered some radiator valves, said they would be delivered on 5th December, nothing arrived. Chased with several emails and no responses. No contact number. Glad I only ordered some valves.

My mistake – I didn’t read the reviews before I ordered. My advice; DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. They do not wish to communicate with you. I ordered a toilet on 14/11/23 and paid immediately with a Debit Card (2nd mistake). I chose a delivery date, from their options, 23/11/23. An email confirmed the delivery date listing all the legal text if things didn’t happen! On the due date, nothing arrived. By this time, I thought I had been scammed. I tried to use their live chat and got nowhere. My question (one of many), ‘Where is my delivery?’ received an answer, ‘I don’t understand your question’ Answers to other questions were unintelligible. Affordable Radiators did not contact me with an apology about the non-delivery or a revised date. As if they would! I eventually found a phone number through one of their ‘other’ non-contactable trading companies. The automated reply was ‘Technical problems with the line’ I now contacted my bank fraud line. I was ready to contact Trading Standards
On 28/11/23 I received an email advising me that my delivery would be in the next 24 hours. Was this the scammer having a laugh? The next day a delivery vehicle stopped outside my house; I thought I was imagining it all! The goods I ordered arrived, I could not believe it. The rest of the day I was in dreamland!
This appalling Company, and its other associates, have little integrity and cannot be relied on. They don’t know the meaning of customer care or how to act professionally.
If the Company has any self-respect, they should pay me compensation for all the stress they caused me.
