Ordered a vanity unit on 20th January. Told delivery would be 30th Jan. No show, no call, no mail.
Eventually via live chat got to talk to someone.
Promised delivery again on 06 feb.
Same again, no show , no mail, no call.
I cancelled order at this point and I am still waiting for my refund of £486 which was taken on 20th Jan.
No reply to any of my emails.
Absolute disgrace of a company. Steer well clear, there are other companies like QS supplies who are great and will normally match or better their prices.

This is a scam!!! Numerous emails I've sent, Live-Chat is a joke just round in circles, cancelled my order, no refund yet, and no reply from the company.

I ordered valves on 01/02 and they didn't arrive on the delivery date of 13/02. I sent them a message through the contact form that they never responded to and of which you don't get sent a copy as proof. Talking to a person on the chat (choose sales / technical question) they promised me the valves would be sent out on Monday 26. When I checked on Tuesday 27 they said that the valves had not been sent out and said that they could send them out on Friday. They couldn't really explain why neither time the order hadn't arrived (vague excuses like technical problem, supplier looking into it) and they had no explanation why they hadn't contacted me about the orders not being sent on the promised delivery date (claiming they didn't know because their supplier didn't let them know). My gut feeling is that if this company isn't just simply a scam, it's a company that's in a lot of trouble either financially or organisationally or both, with no control or understanding of its supply chain. So regardless of malice or not I strongly advise people not to order from this company. I've taken screenshots of the chat transcripts and sent an email to their customer service on cs at affordablerads.com to have something tangible when I raise a dispute with them through my card provider or paypal. Right now I'm hoping that the cancellation gets processed today as they have promised, but obviously my expectations have been significantly lowered in this process.

What a terrible company!
No way to contact them, other than with a consistently broken 'live chat'. Nothing live about it, 5 consecutive days trying and I still have not got through to anything but an automated bot.
They have already failed to deliver on 2 previous dates and I still await delivery. Not sure I will ever see this radiator delivered.
Lack of communication is terrible.

Would give a zero rating if I could. This is one of the worst companies I have ever done business with. We order our radiator only to be told that it wasn't in stock, told that new stock was coming in and would be a 2 week delay. After waiting was then told that not enough stock arrived to clear the orders and would I now be willing to wait 8 weeks. Still waiting for my refund, like a lot of people. Would have to agree that some if the 5 star reviews must be fake.

Delivery date came and went with no communication and no radiator. Finally decided to cancel the order after waiting a few more days, as the build schedule wouldn't wait. Had to cancel via "live" chat and was told the details would be passed to the cancellation team, whoever they may be? That was over a week ago and still no further communication and no refund. I always pay with PayPal if I have the option but unfortunately in this case had to use Klarna. Will be approaching them directly for a refund now. If this isn't a scam company it's a shocking way to run a business. Avoid.

My wife and I have previously both put reviews on here for the poor service from this company, but within a few days they asked for them to be removed. I expect the same thing to happen. We have spent so many hours chasing a refund for items that were ordered and paid in full for on 21st Jan via Klarna, but never received. They eventually emailed back (from an unmanned mailbox of course) promising a refund, but this has not materialised. We’ve had a nightmare chasing Klarna and Affordable Rads, who must spend more time deleting negative reviews and blocking comments made on social media than simply refunding money that they owe. Disgusting.

Really Shocking company stay away from this company
Ordered a rad in Dec, not in stock so cancelled and they said OK we will give you a refund ( this part too soon long to do ) refund never arrived for weeks ended up getting bank to get money bank
Now out the blue today they have taken £388:47 out of my account ,this is fraud so once again the bank fraud team are.looking into it.
Stay away from this company

Ordered bathroom accessories that were advertised as next day delivery. The first delivery date I was offered was over a week away. On the specified date the order didn't arrive. Followed up via the webform, but there was no response. The online chat didn't work repeatedly told me there was an error and requested I restart. There is no telephone number to use. I have raised a dispute to request a refund and am ordering elsewhere

We were hoping that as some reviews were favourable we would be the lucky ones - Not so much! First radiator arrived damaged (pretty sure it was the carrier throwing boxes around in their van). Return requested, confirmed by Affordable Rads but again courier company gave us the runaround. We were advised another rad would be on its way but after a week of chasing we had an email advising that due to a "power outage" at the carriers, we would not get the replacement for two weeks. This was the final straw so cancelled the order - that was 2nd Feb. Still awaiting the refund even though they emailed us to say the refund would be processed 16th! It is now 26th and no responses to our frequent emails. Now looking at taking them to the small claims court if we get no response. Customer service on Live chat were very apologetic and said would escalate within 24 hours - all four times!!! Still no response at the time of reviewing. Not holding out much hope.

All thew reviews must be fake. The customer service is non existent. You can't phone and no one replies to emails.
Advertise all next day, fast delivery or select a date. You can't, you order then get an email to select a date which is about 2 weeks away. If you ask for sooner they say it will, but it doesn't.
Also the spec they give for the radiators are wrong so don't first fix without having it to hand.
Advise to buy elsewhere.

Like many others reviewers we have paid this company over £1,000 and have not received any goods or explanation why not.

If you look at the websites for Affordable Rads Ltd, Design Radiator Concepts Ltd and Design Bathroom Concepts Ltd, they all look the same but with different branding. None of their websites offer any contact information. Having checked on the Companies House website, it seems that all these firms share common directors and common registered offices.

Looking at recent TrustPilot reviews of all three companies, they all follow the same theme. No goods being delivered and no way of contacting the companies.

Furthermore, it appears they are part of the Luxpad group at the same registered office which was struck off the companies register on 22/02/2024!

We have sent our information to BBC Watchdog, hoping they will investigate these companies. If you are in a similar situation, I urge you all to do the same to prevent further people being scammed.

Taken the money but no delivery!!! Poor customer services!

Only giving one as can't give zero! Ordered radiator on 9th February - once ordered and paid was told that earliest delivery was 20th February with delivery 8am-6pm. Waited in all day with no delivery and no contact. On 21st February I called them to be told that it would be delivered on 23rd February and I'd be given a two hour timeslot. No radiator, no timeslot, no delivery, no number to call them on, live chat won't work and emails aren't replied to. Please don't waste your money!!!

I placed and order for a radiator on 27.1.24 which said it was in stock & available for next day delivery. The radiator was required for 3.2.24.
However I received an email asking me to book a delivery date which was then 3 weeks later. This was not acceptable so I spoke to them online and they agreed a delivery date of 31.1.24 & confirmed it with an email.
I took the day off work to wait in for the delivery and it failed to arrive.
I contacted customer services and was informed that it hadn't been despatched and would be another week before delivery, so at this point I cancelled my order.
It took another 5 days to receive an email confirming my cancellation and stated that I would receive my refund on 14.2.24.
We are now on 23.2.24 and still no refund received.
I have again contacted their online chat and was told they don't deal with refunds on the chat & that I have to email them.
I emailed them on 19.2.24 asking why I hadn't received my refund and they have still not answered my email yet.
Why are you keeping my money?
It should take 2 minutes to refund the money back to my card.
I do not recommend this company at all.

Awful service and company, placed order in October and still haven't received items or refund. I have had to raise case with Klarna. Do not use no matter how good their website looks.

Avoid this company! very similar issue with other customers, problem with despatch for a reina chrome radiator. Kept giving me dates when not delivered. I’ve opened a dispute with PayPal for a refund. Terrible communication and a lot of time wasted

I ordered 5 large vertical radiators in October/November 2023. When we went to fit them, the first two were damaged and the colour finish was dreadful. They were covered in blackmarks. I requested a refund and to return the goods within the 14 day period as per their terms and conditions. I was charged a courier fee to return the goods. It took 2 weeks to get a response, but finally returns confirmed my refund of almost £1,800 in late January 2024. I was promised my money back in 10 days and so far (22 February 2024) I've received nothing back. No telephone number to call them and they just ignore emails. An absolute joke of customer services and would keep well away from. Dreadful company. I will be taking action via trading standards and my credit card company.

I ordered a sink from them which was never delivered. After 4 months I was finally told I would receive a refund however this was never actually processed. I am having to claim money back through my credit card company.
AVOID at all costs!

UPDATE - More money has been taken from my card (months after the transaction that I originally made) without my authorisation. I have reported again. If you have been a victim of this scam, be warned that they may continue to take more money so get your card cancelled/ blocked.

After reading lots of horrific reviews and worrying that this company is fake. Today we received our radiator. I will say communication isn’t their strong point and constantly being referred to Ai chat was annoying and made us doubt the company.
