We chose After Dark Productions for our wedding disco held at The Spread Eagle Hotel in Midhurst.

They were a recommendation from the hotel and we were not disappointed. They set the venue up beautifully. All our guests complimented the DJ on the mixing of the music that was proposed.

Everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves and all those that could were up on the dance floor and the dance floor was never empty all evening.

It was an absolute pleasure working with Simon and his team. We were incredibly happy with the good vibes of the evening! The DJ mixed our song suggestions and with their own expert choices which made for an evening of fun and lots of dancing!

Simon was the DJ at our wedding and I could not recommend him more! He listened to our requests and style choices and played whatever we wanted him to play whilst mixing in other great tracks. He read the room well and always made sure to keep the party going. Simon was easy to communicate with and made this part of our wedding seamfree and easy!

We booked After Dark Productions for our wedding celebration party and they were amazing. Extremely professional and knowledgeable. They knew exactly the vibe we wanted to create and were able to deliver not only a great music event but helped and advised with other parts of the night.
The client portal is really well put together and you can manage track listings and preferences easily.
If you need to add things to your package or see the details of your package it is clear what you are getting.
The lighting options are incredible and Simon and his team create amazing effects and can tell you what will work best in the venue. The Starlight backdrop really adds to the atmosphere you can create.
I would thoroughly recommend them for anybody needing a reliable, professional, very helpful, and ultimately a brilliant DJ set for a party.

Simon and the team were awesome. Setting up early in the day so as not to disturb the days plans. We were able to use the PA system during the day, and in the evening the music and lighting were perfect. Highly recommended!

We booked these guys through a close friend for our vow renewal after party on our silver wedding anniversary and can only say WOW!!! Amazing experience from start to finish. We were contacted about music preferences and were able to add do’s and don’t on their website. When they arrived to set up on the day Ben and the lighting engineer were courteous and polite and set up the mammoth amount of equipment without disrupting any of the guests. From the minute the party kicked off with our first dance, the evening went without a hitch. My wife and I danced practically all night to the exact genres of music we had requested and had the most amazing experience and it took us back to the late 90’s/early noughties as requested and it was like reliving our clubbing days. Party music, dance, trance, edm, r&b all interspersed with lots of other music. Bens skills as a dj are amazing and listening in to him lining up the next track and mixing seamlessly was a wonder to behold. As an ex part time dj and still sometime bedroom jockey now, it was a pleasure to see him enjoying his set as much as we did. These guys will provide you with whatever type of gig u ask for and nothing is too much trouble. After Dark Productions were recommended by a friend and from start to finish the whole experience was beyond excellent. Simon was always available, quick to respond, helpful with ideas and checking we were getting what we wanted/needed. He has an amazing customer website that allows you to build your own requested playlists and see the count down to your event.
On the day itself his rig was awesome. So much more than we were expecting and all our guests were blown away not just by the music but the lighting and the whole design.

My partner (now husband) and I got married on 29th Feb.
In the planning for the day I looked at various DJ packages and came across After Dark. What struck me was they were as much about the quality of their lighting product and set up than they were about the music they played. I made an enquiry and Simon got back to me very promptly with various quotes.
I decided to go with them and was so glad I did. From the outset, their professionalism was second to none. We chose the gold package.
They were new to the venue we used and as such arranged a number of visits to check their equipment would be ok and went as far as to produce a plan of what the set up would be including dimensions. I saw on their website that they provided up lights which we added to our set up. Again, very very glad we did because they really set the room off!
The planning portal you have access to us a very useful tool. It works well and you can add the tracks you want playing to this and set out when you want certain tracks played. If I were to make a suggestion it would be to add a free text box to the portal as it would have been useful to give general genres we didn't want playing. I got around this by selecting a particular track and adding notes to it to include all other tracks of that genre of music. This is a minor point though.
On the day, they attended to put the uplights in while we were having the ceremony. It was all set up perfectly and was great to walk into when we moved into the function room.
In the evening, during turnaround the complete set up was put in place and looked utterly stunning. Really really awesome.
They played all the music I had added to the portal and other tracks of similar types. The dance floor was full all night and I have had no end of comments about how good the set up was.
We had the best time at our wedding and After Dark Productions would now be my first port of call for any other significant event I organise. I have no hesitation in recommending them and their service.

Simon was brilliant to work with - he gave a very competitive quote and the equipment he provided was fantastic. The team was professional and helpful throughout the set up and evening and the dance floor was full all evening. I would highly recommend and hope I can have another party soon using them!
